Walking through the mall with excitement on my face.
I look at the stores and people around me.
I start to walk faster, now at almost a running pace,
the workshop is all that I can see.
I approach the store now picking up speed,
And I look at the stuffed animals on the rack.
To make my own bear, this is all that I need,
I wonder if I'll ever come back.
I walk in with my mom and pick out my bear,
Getting ready for a fun-filled day.
I picked out my bear's heart and kissed it with care,
Loving this bear more than I can say.
I loved this place with all my heart,
When I was young and in need of a friend.
My bear and I were never apart,
And I will love my stuffed animals until the end.

Today, I had no school so I didn't bother trying to look pretty. I woke up and looked in the mirror. I didn't even want to look at myself, that's how ugly I was. I figured, though, that my family probably wouldn't care how I looked. I opened my bedroom door and as soon as my cat saw me, he started meowing in pain and ran downstairs. I guess it might be a good idea to make myself look good, even on weekends. MLIA
