addicted to the bad ones, the sequel
    part 7
I waved goodbye to Chris, Trever, Jess, Cole, and Johnny as I entered the airport. Brandon and I went through the normal routine before flying, and we were on the plane shortly after. The flight was long and boring, but we finally reached England as the sun was setting. We were too jet lagged to function, so as soon as we got our hotel room, we passed out.
There was a knock on the door that woke Brandon and I up the next morning. I rolled off the couch and went to answer it. My jaw dropped when I saw who it was.
"Danny Jones?!" I asked in amazement. I didn't want to look like an idiot, thinking this man at my door was Danny from one of my favorite bands, McFly, if he really wasn't.
"You must be Hazel." He smiled. His English accent made my heart melt.
I felt Brandon's arms wrap around from behind me. "I knew you'd be happy." He whispered in my ear.
"How did you do this?!" I was still in shock.
"Bam helped make connections. It wasn't easy seeing as Bam and McFly barely know each other. But we worked it out."
"If you don't mind me interupting," Danny jumped into the conversation. "I wanted to give you these." He handed me two concert tickets. "These are for tonight's show. They come with backstage passes."
It was so hard for me to believe this was actually happening.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH!" I hugged Danny, and then Brandon.
"It's no problem. See you tonight." Danny smiled then left.
Practically in tears, I kissed Brandon, and I didn't plan on stopping. I was so happy, this was one of the best surprises anyone has given me. Brandon was starting to get tired of my morning lips pressed on his, and he pulled away.
"Let's get ready and go out for lunch or something." He smiled.
Brandon and I hustled to get ready, and bolted out of the hotel room. Our feet hit the streets of London, as we searched for a place to eat. A cute, little cafe was just down the street, so we took a little stop there. We ordered the first things we saw and ate like monkies due to our hunger.
"I still can't believe you did all of this for me." I smiled, and carressed Brandon's hand over the table.
"It was nothing. We deserve some time off to enjoy ourselves, we just got married." He leaned over and kissed my cheek. "There is one problem though." He added.
"Oh God... what?" I was nervous.
"I told Bam I'd go to some skate competitions while we're here. I have to go to a lot actually..."
"That's no problem! I can come and watch! If that's the only problem, it's really no big deal." I was relieved that was the only thing bothering Brandon.
"Thank you so much." He smiled.

    ATTENTION:
I'm going to put New Lives, Old Memories on hold. Although some of you readers may not be happy, please understand where I'm coming from.
    1) I honestly have no idea where this story is going. I make up the chapters as I go along. I do the same for Addicted to the Bad Ones, as well. And right now, I just can't think of anything to add on to it yet. I thought I was going somewhere with the story, but to me it's obvious I'm not. Putting the story on hold will give me time to really think about what comes next.
    2) I think I have a great story I can write during the meantime. I've thought over the idea of it and I won't be hesitant with creating the next chapter or part because I have it all planned out.
    3) I will try to keep writing Addicted to the Bad Ones. It won't be easy, but I'll do my best to make the story as good as it can be. Besides, it would be unfair to stop both stories.
    4) I was thinking of stopping New Lives, Old Memories all together. But you guys have given me so much support about it that I'm not just going to throw it away.
Please just take the time to look this over and give me feedback. It would be greatly appreciated. I love all of you who read and supported this story. And please remember, this is only a temporary break. I'll be writing it once again, as soon as I really understand what I want to write about. Thank you all so much and I really hope you understand.

    part 2
The butterflies got worse the closer I got to him. My legs got so weak, it was amazing that I finally made it down the isle and stood face to face with him. The minister started speaking. Brandon held both of my hands. After all the times we were together, I was afraid he'd hate my clammy hands. But he didn't show any sign that he was going to pull away.
The minister's spoke slow. It was taking forever to go on with this service.
"Can we hurry this up?!" Bam shouted from the back.
People snickered as the minister rolled his eyes.
"You may now kiss the bride."
Brandon pulled me closer to him and our lips pressed together. All the guests stood up and cheered as we ran back down the isle towards the limo. We both hopped inside and headed back home to celebrate.
Back at the apartment, it was crowded. People were scattered all over the room, drinking champagne, eating cake, mingling. Everything was perfect, but that didn't explain why I felt sick.
"Jess come to the bathroom with me!" I whispered in her ear.
We pushed our way to the bathroom and closed the door behind us.
"Hold my hair!" I demanded as I leaned over the toilet.
She pulled my hair back as I threw up.
"Had to many glasses of champagne, huh?" She laughed.
"I haven't had any. I've been feeling kind of sick the past few days."
"OH MY GOD! I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!" She ran out of the bathroom. I think even out of the apartment.
Luckily, I felt better. I brushed my teeth and went back out to the party for the next few hours. Jess came back during that time with a shopping bag that she hid in her room.
Once the party ended, everyone fell asleep. Jess and I were the only ones still up.
"We need to go in the bathroom again." She said quietly.
    "Why?" I asked.
"You'll see, just meet me in there." She walked back into her room.
I did what she asked, and waited for her in the bathroom. A few moments later she came in with the shopping bag.
"What's in the-" I didn't finish my question, I didn't need to as soon as she pulled out the pregnancy test.

    part 1
The rain was pouring so hard against the window. It sounded like and ton of people throwing little rocks at it. I frowned, this wasn't how I pictured my wedding day. I walked over to the mirror. My hair was actually looking great curled. The makeup on my eyes was perfect for once. And my dress was well... untraditional. I hated the big, poofy dresses that made you look like a big cloud. The dress I wore was white and strapless, but it was short. It stopped above my knees. I loved it. There was a knock on the bedroom door.
"Come in!" I said loudly, as I fixed the veil on the top of my head.
Jess walked in with Bam and Chris.
"I think it's time we go. Trever is dying to get in the limo." Jess said.
    I smiled. "Okay let's leave."
We all walked out of the apartment. Trever was running to the elevator and motioning us to hurry up. In the attempt to run in my heels, I tripped knocking Bam over and fell on top of him. We all started laughing hysterically.
"Are you okay?" Jess asked, trying to get herself under control.
    "I'm fine." I kept giggling.
Once we were out of the elevator we hurried into the limo, trying to avoid the rain. Johnny was already waiting for us in there.
"You guys take forever." He said.
The limo started to drive off. I was already nervous about getting married. Then something made it ten times worse. My hand flew up and smacked my chest, then moved up towards my neck.
    "Where is it?!" I screamed.
    "What?" Chris asked, freaked out.
"My necklace! The one Brandon gave to me when we first started going out!"
"It's probably back in the apartment. We can just get it after the wedding." Jess tried to calm me down.
    "No! I need it!"
"It's too late now. We're almost there."
I wanted to cry. I never took off that necklace, except when I showered. How the hell could I have lost it?!
The limo stopped moving. Trever looked out the window. The expression on his face gave away the fact we were at the beach. Someone from outside opened the door. It was my grandpa. Everyone got out of the limo before me. Then when everyone exited, my grandpa took my hand and started to lead me to the isle. The rain had lightened up, and the sun was peeking through the clouds, thankfully. My grandpa and I linked arms and started to walk down the isle. The beach brought memories of when I would always find Brandon here, and how he first opened up to me here. I looked at the people sitting, watching me walk down the isle. They were all familiar faces, but one was unexpected. I had no idea my grandma would actually come. And she was smiling! I stopped my eyes from wandering and kept them looking forward. Then my hazel eyes met his blue ones.

    "Hey beautiful." Brandon smiled.
    "What's going on?" I asked.
"Just come with me." He took my hand and led me on to the cart.
We sat down next to each other and he put his arm around me. I smiled at him. This whole thing was like deja vu. We were pretty much reliving the night of my birthday. I looked over the cart to see everyone huddling in a group on the ground as the ferris wheel brought their faces closer, then farther apart as we went around.
"Do you remember the night we went on this together?" Brandon asked.
"How could I forget? It was the best birthday of my life." I smiled remembering the whole thing.
I looked over the cart again at Trever, Jess, Cole, Chris, Johnny, Raab, Dico, Dunn, and Bam smiling like crazy. Something was going on. I wasn't gonna let it bother me though. I turned my attention back to Brandon.
"Remember what we were talking about?" He asked.
I paused as I tried to remember. I remembered making out like crazy, but before the we were talking about...
"Getting married." I thought out loud.
The ferris wheel stopped. Our cart was at the highest point. Brandon was digging his hand in his jean pocket. He pulled out a small velvet box.
"I know it's been over three years," His voice was shaking, "But would you still want to go through with those plans?"
Brandon opened up the box, revealing a beautiful diamond ring. It was perfect. Not too little and not annoying and obnoxiously big. I nodded my head. If i spoke, I would've started crying. Brandon slid the ring on my finger. Then he tucked my hair behind my ear and kissed my lips softly.
A few seconds later you heard cheering and clapping. Brandon and I pulled away from each other and looked over the cart. Our whole group of friends were shouting and dancing around like idiots. I laughed and flipped them off. Brandon did the same. Then I looked back into his blue eyes and kissed him.
"I love you." I said through breaks when our lips weren't touching.
    "I love you." He replied.
    THE END<3

As Brandon and I came closer to the apartment door, we could feel the bass of the sound system vibrating the floors and walls. I bet the neighbors hated us. I turned the knob and opened the door to see tons of people in the apartment. Most of them I didn't recognize. Brandon and I walked in and made our way through the crowd of people until we found Chris sitting on the couch, talking to some friends of his.
"CHRIS!" I shouted over the roaring music.
"WHAT'S UP HAZEL?" He shouted back.
    "WHEN DID EVERYONE GET HERE?!"
"A LITTLE WHILE AFTER YOU LEFT! WE STARTED CALLING EVERYONE AND THEY JUST SHOWED UP!"
"I DON'T KNOW HALF OF THESE PEOPLE!"
"EH, YOU'LL GET TO KNOW THEM!"
I looked around real quickly, "WHERE'S TREVER?!"
Chris started to scan through the crowd. Then he pointed towards the balcony, where Trever was standing with a few guys surrounding him.
"THANKS!" I grabbed Brandon's hand, then left Chris to go back to his friends.
We managed to push our way through all of the people until we got close to Trever. He stopped talking to all the guys around him and waved to me. Everyone hovering over him turned to look to see who Trever was waving to. They all ended up being some familiar faces.
"STEVE-O" I shouted. I ran to him and nearly tackled him to the ground.
"Haha hey Hazel!" He laughed as he hugged me. "I haven't seen you in so long! How've you been?"
"Honestly, things couldn't get better." I smiled and let go of him.
I went over and hugged Wee-Man and Dave England who I haven't seen for the longest time.
"Bam and his crew should be coming later tonight." Dave informed me.
"But a flight here is so long." I said.
"Well we're gonna be partying for a long time, so it evens out." Wee-Man smiled.
I hung out with the guys and Trever for a little bit and then went around meeting new people and saying hi to some old friends. A few hours later Bam, Dunn, Dico, and Raab showed up. The whole night, went by quickly with all the dancing, and talking, and pictures being taken. But eventually the party ended around 4:00 AM.
"And that's the last few people." Johnny said as the last guests walked out the door.
The apartment was trashed. Food and drinks were everywhere, and everything was out of place. It looked horrible, but it also showed we had a good time. Trever was asleep in his own bedroom, and Jess and Cole passed out on Jess's bed. Johnny crashed on the couch, and we let Bam and his crew sleep in my room since it was too late to find them a hotel room.
"Do you guys have a place to sleep?" Chris asked me and Brandon.
"Probably not, but we'll just throw some blankets on the ground. We'll be fine." I replied.
"Okay, if you need anything let me know." Chris said as he walked off into his bedroom.
Brandon and I started throwing pillows and blankets all over the floor. When we finished setting up, I dropped my body on the ground. Brandon followed. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me on the cheek.
"Goodnight, Hazel. I love you." He whispered.
"I love you too." I smiled.
And shortly after that, I fell asleep.

    part 67
I stepped out of the apartment building, and started walking down the street. For the big city I lived in, not many people were on the streets tonight. Everything was nice and peaceful, except for the annoying sound of my flip flops hitting the pavement. I stopped quickly and slid them off my feet. As I carried them in my hand, I looked up at the sky. The sun was just setting and the sky was a perfect shade of orange fading to pink. This little moment felt like a movie scene. A light breeze was blowing my hair back, and I was walking like I was determined, determined to find him.
The hard pavement turned into soft, cool sand. It was nice to remember the beach this way, instead of last time I was here, when the rain was pouring, and the sand was wet and cold. I looked down towards the water to see a silhouette of someone sitting down. It had to be Brandon. I started walking closer and closer until I was standing right behind him. He didn't notice though. He was reading the little napkin I left him a note on. It made me smile to know that he was thinking for me.
"In fact..." Brandon started to read the last part of the note out loud.
    "It's a new beginning." I joined in.
Brandon slowly turned his head so he was looking at me.
"Is that really you?" He asked.
I smiled and nodded my head. He picked himself of the ground and stood face to face with me.
"... But you'll be leaving soon, right?" He sighed.
I still smiled as I shook my head, no.
    "You're not leaving?"
    I shook my head.
"Are you serious?" He started chuckling to himself, realizing that I was actually staying.
Tears started to fall from my eyes as I nodded my head. He grabbed my arms and moved closer to me.
"Hazel, what's wrong? We're finally going to be together!" He was smiling, trying to get me to smile too.
"I know, I know. But... I'm just so happy." I laughed at myself because I was actually crying tears of joy.
Brandon wiped the tears from my eyes, then wrapped his arms around my body.
"I love you." He whispered in my ear.
"I love you too." I whispered back.
We let go of each other after a while. Brandon took my hand and put his fingers in the spaces between mine and we started walking back to the apartment.
"There's a welcome back party tonight. And you're obviously coming." I told him.
"I'd be honored." Brandon said, trying to sound like one of those princes in a fairy tale.
"Shut up. You know I hate fairy tales." I laughed as I playfully punched him in the arm.
It's true, I hate fairy tales. I was never a fan of the princess finding the prince of her dreams. But right now, Brandon and I were living the perfect kind of fairy tale for me.

The whole plane ride I stared out the window, watching the view turn from a sky blue, into a foggy white as we glided through the clouds. There was one person on my mind, and it was Brandon. I needed to see him before he did something totally stupid.
"Hazel! Look!" Trever pointed out the window.
I looked to see the ground coming closer and closer. We were finally in California.
"Ready to see your new home?" I asked.
Trever nodded his head. The plane hit the runway and eventually came to a stop. We were the first ones to grab our luggage and run out of the plane. Then grabbed our suitcases moving across the conveyer belt and bolted out the airport. Johnny was waiting for us in the parking lot.
"Trever this is Johnny. He's one of Chris's best friends." I introduced him to Trever.
"Nice to meet you." Johnny said, holding out his hand.
Trever smiled, took a hold of Johnny's hand and shook it firmly.
"Now let's get your luggage back to your apartment." Johnny smiled.
We piled everything into Johnny's van and started to drive. I was sitting in the passenger seat, looking back at Trever. His eyes were glued out the window, looking at his new living environment. He seemed so excited as he gasped at random things we passed by. Johnny pulled into the parking lot of the new apartment, and helped us carry our things inside. Jess and Chris were sitting inside, watching TV, but their attention turned to us as we walked in the door. Jess ran over to me and hugged me tight.
"This is so great! It's gonna be just like when we first moved here 3 years ago!" She said.
She let go of me and then looked down at Trever.
"And now we have a new addition to our little family." She hugged him. "How've you been Trever? Do you remember me? I haven't seen you in so long. You're getting so grown up..." Jess went on and on with her little comments and questions to my little brother, who she hasn't seen for the longest time. Since she didn't stop, I walked over to Chris and hugged him.
"Thank you so much. For letting me move back in. And for letting Trever come too." I wanted to cry because I was so happy.
"Hazel, you were, are, and always will be welcome here. Same goes for my little man, Trever." Chris let go of me and held his arms open as Trever ran to him and hugged him.
"Start unpacking too. Tonight we're gonna have a party, celebrating Hazel's return and Trever's new move. Everyone we know will be here." Chris added.
"Okay. But I have to go do something real quick." I smiled and started walking out the apartment.
"I'll be back in an hour." I said as shut the door behind me.

The next morning finally came after the few hours of sleep I got. I pulled the sheets off of my body and sat up. My face dropped in the palms of my hands. Then I slid them up so my fingers stroked through my hair. I stood up, looked in the mirror, and tilted my head so my tattoo was in view.
"It's going to be worth it." I said to myself.
I went into Trever's room to see my grandpa and him talking. Once they saw me in the doorway, they stopped and looked at me. Then back at each other. Then back at me.
"What's going on?" I asked, nervously. Trever better not have told our grandpa.
"I hear you two are moving." My grandpa said.
    I looked over at Trever.
"Hazel, I'm sorry. But I love Grandpa, he has to know!" He blurted.
"Trever! Why would you?! I told you-" I started shouting.
"Calm down, Hazel. It's fine. I have no problem with you and Trever going back to California. I'm just a little upset that you didn't tell me."
I sighed. "I'm sorry, Grandpa. But I know Grandma wouldn't let us go. So I didn't tell anyone, except Jenn."
"Don't worry about your grandma. I'll take care of her." He smiled.
Trever and I hugged my grandpa tight. "Thank you so much." We said.
I pulled out my cell phone and called Bam to have him pick us up and he was parked in the driveway about 10 minutes later. Jenn and my grandpa were standing on the front steps, waiting to say goodbye.
I hugged my grandpa first. "Bye Grandpa. I'll come visit soon."
"You're always welcome here. Have fun in California."
I tightened my grip for a few seconds, then let go. Then I stepped away from him and hugged Jenn next.
"Be safe sweetheart. And tell Chris and everyone I said hi." Her voice was cracking.
"I will. And I'll try to call you whenever I can."
She let go then looked me in the eyes. I could see the little trails her tears left on her cheeks. She pulled me back for one quick hug then let go. Trever and I waved goodbye as we walked over to the Hummer.
"You ready to leave?" Bam asked.
I nodded my head and got in the car with Trever. For once, I wasn't upset about saying goodbye. Of course, I was going to miss my grandpa, Jenn, and maybe even my grandma, but I was finally going somewhere that I wanted and needed to be.
The whole ride, I stared out the window. Watching the last of Delaware pass me by. Then finally, the airport was in sight. Bam helped us unload our stuff and hugged me and Trever goodbye.
"Thank you so much, Bam." I said.
"It's no problem. But I'm not letting you know when the guys and I are gonna visit, so you better always be ready." He smirked.
    "Will do." I laughed.
Bam walked back into the Hummer, and drove off. I was gonna miss living close to him. But like he said, he'd be making some surprise visits. Trever and I walked into the airport once Bam was gone. We went through all the routines, and finally sat in our seats on the plane. Hopefully, this would be the last time I was on a plane, for a while.

The suitcases were packed and hidden, our rooms were empty and lifeless. I had the same feeling I did when I ran away the first time a few years ago. Only this time, not only was my life on the line, but Trever's was too. I sat on top of Trever's bed, feeling a little uneasy. Of course, this was probably the best thing for us, but I didn't want Trever getting in trouble for something that I'm to blame for. I looked around his room and you could tell it didn't feel like a ten year old lived here anymore. All his pictures and posters were off the walls, his dresser and desk were hollow and cleaned off. The only thing that was still personalized about this room was his bedspread.
"Hazel, when are we leaving?" Trever asked.
"Tomorrow night, or early the next day. Which ever flight is cheaper. But Bam's coming back later tonight to pick up our stuff so we won't have to hide it around here."
There was a knock on Trever's door. My heart started to race, thinking that maybe someone had just heard our plan. Jenn walked in with a big smile on her face, but it changed when she looked at Trever's boring room.
"Trever, what happened to your room?"
"...I'm redecorating. I want to change it up a little." He thought quickly.
Jenn sat on the bed next to me and put her arm around my shoulders.
"Great acting. Now really tell me what's going on." She smiled.
I looked at Trever. He looked back at me. We both were trying to find a signal in each other's face to lie to Jenn again or tell her the truth. But neither of us had any clue on what to do.
"Jenn, I'm moving back to Cali. And Trever's coming with me."
She sat there quietly, not saying a word. I was really hoping she'd respond in someway, even if it was a "no". A "no" would be better than nothing.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked, not looking me or Trever in the eye.
"I'm positive, Jenn. I know I belong in Santa Monica, and I know Trever does too. Please let us go." I started to tear up.
"...Call me when you're leaving. I want to say goodbye." She smiled.
Trever and I grinned and hugged her tight.
"Thank you so much Jenn! Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Later that night, my grandparents went to bed early and Bam's hummer pulled into the driveway. You could hear the heavy metal music blasting throughout his car. He got out quick and we handed him our bags. He threw them into his trunk, and quickly said, "Call me tomorrow when you need the ride to the airport". Then he hopped back in his car and drove off. Trever and I walked back in the house and into our rooms. We tried to sleep, but the feeling of getting caught was on both of our minds.

We all piled into Johnny's van and started speeding down the road. I pulled out a napkin and pen from the glove compartment and started to write Brandon a note.
"Brandon, I'm writing this letter as I'm on my way to the airport to go back to Delaware. When I'm gone, please don't do anything to hurt you or anyone else. I love you so much and I always will. And I promise you this isn't goodbye. In fact, it's a new beginning. Love, Hazel."
I folded the napkin in half and handed it to Jess.
"Give this to Brandon whenever he stops by the apartment. But don't read it." I said.
"I promise not to." She smiled.
Johnny pulled over and I jumped out the van.
"Love you guys!" I shouted as I ran into the airport.
I bought my ticket, went through security, you know, the whole routine you do at airports, then sat in my seat near the window. I looked out to see the pavement lit by the lights on the runway. The plane started to move and gradually lifted into the air. My view of the runway was replaced with city lights. They started to get smaller as the plane kept getting higher, and eventually, the only thing I was able to see was the black, night sky. That was the last thing I looked at before I drifted to sleep.
I suddenly woke up to the plane's wheels hitting the runway, making everyone bounce in their seats. I looked to see the sun outside, almost setting on the horizon. I was so jet lagged from flying from one side of the country to the other. It was starting to get annoying. The plane came to a stop and I was the first one to jump out of my seat and run out the door. Bam, Dico, Dunn, and Raab were all waiting outside of Bam's Hummer in the parking lot. I ran up to them and hugged them tight.
"Thanks for picking me up you guys." I said.
    "It's no problem." Bam smiled.
We all went into the Hummer and drove back to my grandma's house. Bam pulled into the driveway and let me out.
"We'll be back later tonight." He shouted from his open window.
I put a thumbs up as I walked through the front door. Everyone was in the kitchen waiting for me. My grandma, my grandpa, Trever, and even my aunt Jenn who I haven't seen in a while.
"Hazel!" Jenn ran over to me and hugged me tight. "How have you been, sweetheart? You've grown so much!"
"Haha hi Jenn. I've been pretty good."
"How's Chris? And Johnny? And your friend, Jess?"
    "They're all good."
My grandma cleared her throat to get our attention. We both stopped talking to and looked at her angry face.
"Anna, why would you go off and do something like this? You've been so good these past years! I don't understand-"
"I'm 19. I'm legally an adult. I can leave if I want. And I'm in love."
    "With Jason, we know."
"No Grandma. I'm in love with Brandon."
"That disgusting, tattooed boyfriend you had years ago?"
"He's not disgusting! And so what if he's tattooed?! I love him. And I'm moving back to California. That's where I need to be. Turn my room into an office or something because I'm not coming back."
    "But Anna!"
"It's HAZEL! That's what I want to be called."
I walked up the stairs, into my room and started packing my things. I can leave if I want to. I'm an adult. She can't tell me what to do anymore. I felt a feeling of someone's eye's staring at my back. I turned my head to see Trever in the door way. He looked like he was about to cry.
"You said you would never leave again." His voice trembled.
I walked over to him and hugged him tight.
"Go pack your things. You're coming to California with me."

"I have to go back home." I started walking towards the door.
"You are home." Brandon smiled, grabbing my arm and pulling my body close to his.
"No. I need to go back to Delaware."
Just by looking in Brandon's eyes you could tell his heart sunk into his stomach.
"What are you talking about?" He whispered.
"I need to go back. I'm sorry."
I walked away from him and out of the skate shop. As I heard my feet hit the concrete sidewalk, tears were starting to fall. Every step I took was a step back to unhappiness. A step back to wishing I lived here. A step back to pretending I was happy with the life I live.
I felt someone grab my hand and tug me back. I turned around and saw Brandon. He looked too upset to speak.
"I'm not letting you leave. Not again. Please stay, Hazel. I'll do anything." He said through all the pain he was feeling.
I rested my arms on his shoulders and placed my hands on the back of his head. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him.
"I'll think of something. I promise." I said.
He kissed me, and kept kissing me. Neither one of us pulled away. I didn't want to. As soon as I did, I'd probably start thinking about how I might not see him again.
Later on that night, Johnny, Chris, Jess, and I were all sitting in the apartment. We were watching a movie when my cell phone started to ring. It was my grandma's house number.
    "Hello?" I answered nervously.
    "Hazel, it's Trever."
I sighed with relief. "Hey Trever. How are things in Delaware?"
"It's fine except for Grandma flipping out." He was whispering.
"Why is grandma flipping out? And why are you whispering?"
"Grandma and Grandpa are sleeping. And Grandma is so mad that you left without telling her. I'd be careful when you come home. And make sure you have a story planned out to explain everything."
"I will. And hopefully I'll be home by tomorrow. Goodnight."
    "Goodnight Hazel."
I shut the phone and ran my fingers through my hair. I was so stressed out.
"Was that little Trever?" Chris asked.
"Yeah. He's not so little anymore. He's about ten years old."
"Wow that's crazy. I miss that kid. I need to see him soon."
I turned my attention back to the movie, trying to get things out of my mind. It wasn't working. But at that moment I thought of a plan that just might make everyone.
"Give me that!" I ripped the laptop from Johnny's hands.
"You could've just asked." He said in a rude tone.
"I need a plane ticket. Tonight. And a ride to the airport."
