   (Emily's POV) chapter 17
   The doctor walked out and I looked up at Jake with a worried look. He looked down at me and widened his eyes, placing his hand on top of mine.
   "I'm gonna go pick up my mom to sign you out." He smiled a little and kissed my cheek, and silently stepped out of the room. Leslie looked at me and sat on the edge of the bed.
   "He nearly had a heart attack when he saw you. And hes still shaking like a Chihuahua." She chuckled. I let out a small smile and closed my eyes.
   .......
   I woke up to hear Jake and his mom talking. Did I fall asleep? My head still pounded. I adjusted my position and everyone stopped talking to look at me. Jake's mom shuffled quickly over to me and put her cold hand on my forehead.
   "Hey sweety, we're gonna take you out of here soon." I smiled at her and took a deep breath.
   A half hour later Jake nudged my shoulder.
   "Time to go babe." He smiled and took my hand. I stood up and felt dizzy. I put my arm around his shoulder and we walked to the car.
   We arrived at the house and Jake helped me inside and we went into my room. My bed felt amazinnggg(: Jake sat at the foot of the bed and looked at me.
   "What's wrong?" I groaned, turning to my side to look at him.
   "When I find out who did this to you I'm gonna..." He trailed off and took a deep breath, getting angry. I wanted to tell him it was John, but for Jake's safety i probably shouldn't.
   I smiled a little, and his eyes softened.
   "I love you baby. Thank you so much."
   He laughed and moved over, and leaned in to kiss me.
   "I love you too. Forever." He smiled tapped my nose and walked out.

   (Jake's POV) chapter 17
   I kneeled down next to Emily. She looked up at me with weak, teary eyes before they closed, and she laid motionless in front of me. I looked back and saw Leslie turn the corner bounding towards me.
   "The workers called the ambulance and everything. Is she okay?!" She asked, out of breath.
   "I don't know. She's unconscious." I said, panicked. I was trying to decide if I should move her or not, and finally decided to bring her to the front of the building. I gently slipped my arms under her and pulled her limp body off the ground.
   I set her down again so she was leaning against me, and Leslie and I, along with the few workers and customers stared hopelessly at Emily until the ambulance came. The lights on the truck flashed rapidly and a couple men jumped out and came over to us. I explained that someone had taken Emily to the side of the shop and ended up throwing her on the cement.
   The men took Emily out of my arms and into the ambulance. Leslie and I jumped in my mom's car and followed. Leslie called my mom for me while we drove.
   We arrived at the hospital and waited in a small room until a man in a white coat walked in.
   "Jake?"
   Leslie and I both stood up and walked to the doctor.
   "Emily has a concussion, but nothing too bad. She's gonna be tired and weak for acouple days. I've also heard her mother is being checked out of this hospital..tomorrow. Correct?" He said, flipping through his notepad.
   "Y-yeah." She was in a car crash...so can we see Emily?" I said quickly. I was shaking. When I find out who did this to her... they're dead. The doctor looked up at me and back at his notes.
   "Yes, follow me."
   The doctor led us into a small white room. Emily was laying on the small bed, and IV attached to her and everything. I walked over to her and gently pushed her hair out of her face. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked up at me, a small smile on her face.
   "Hey babe, how you feeling?" I smiled alittle when i noticed how much i was still shaking. Leslie giggled and Emily looked up at my hand.
   "Besides the imaginary hammer smashing me in the head...pretty good." She smiled at me. Even after being sent to the hospital she wants to be sarcastic;P
   The doctor opened the door and looked at Leslie and I.
   "Emily can go home in a little while. We just need a parent or guardian to sign her out." Well Emily's mom is still in the hospital so she cant.
   "Will my mom count?"
   "Suree." He nodded and walked out. It's not gonna be fun telling my mom what happened...let alone Emily's...

   (Emily's POV) chapter 16
   Sorry its been so long guyss):
   Jake, Leslie and I walked home together, and Jack and Mitch turned a corner to go to their houses. When we got home, I flopped on the couch and we watched a movie until it was dark. Jake spoke up while the credits rolled.
   "Wanna go get some icecream or something?"
   Leslie and i nodded, and we all walked out the door to Jake's mothers car. Sure, he wasnt legal to drive us around yet, but we won't get caught.
   We drove downtown to a little icecream shop on the corner. It was so cutte!
   The three of us walked into the store and ordered. Suddenly my phone buzzed, so I told Jake and Leslie to wait inside while I took the call outside. I walked out and slipped the phone out of my pocket. It was my mom. I quickly answered and walked to the side of the store, out of earshot.
   "Mom? How are you?" I said immediately.
   "Sweety! I'm great, the doctors said i could leave tomorrow!" She said, I could tell she was smiling.
   "That's great! I'm so excit-" I dropped my phone on the concrete as someone snatched my wrist and pulled me towards the back of the building. I figured it was Jake, trying to scare me.
   "Nice try Jake, but that was my mom on the phone." I giggled, slowly trying to pull my wrist away. 'Jake' laughed alittle, which was when I realized it wasnt him. The figure, obviously a boy, pushed me against the brick wall and pressed their lips to mine. I shook my head around and tried to pull my hand away. The guy tightened his grip and grabbed my other wrist, holding my arms on both sides of my head.
   I tried my best to scream but I couldnt get too loud with their tongue in my mouth. I heard some quiet laughter, there were other people with him. I felt tears drip down my cheeks. I tried to kick them as hard as i could, but it didnt help. The man let go of my hands and pushed his hands up my stomach and under my bra, while some other guy held my arms on the wall. My breathing got quick and I squirmed as much as possible, trying to pull his hands off of me.
   "Emily?" I heard someone say. The guy and I both looked in the direction of the voice. And in that second that the guy wasnt kissing me, I screamed for Jake. I saw his head poke around the corner, the only thing i could really see from where we were standing.
   "Get out of here!" I heard the guy fiercely whisper. I recognized the voice- It was John and his friends.
   "John!" I yelled, pushing away from him. I heard him grumble quickly before he grabbed my shoulders and flung me into the cement. I hit my head hard, and felt pebbles fly over me as they ran away. Through my blurry vision i saw Jake run towards me and kneel next to me.
   I heard him yell to Leslie, then everything went black.

   (Emily's POV) chapter 14
   Jake always knows how to make me feel betterr(: We walked around on the beach for awhile before walking home. When we got their Jake and I changed to see my mom.
   We walked through the glass doors and the familiar scent of plastic and medicine drifted by me. Jake wrapped his arm behind my waist as we walked to the front desk.
   "Ah, yes, she is doing much better. Right this way." The woman said quietly.
   We walked down a narrow hallway to my mom's room. They moved her out of the ICU to recover. I talk with her for awhile and we went home. She said she was feeling okay and the doctors hope to have her home soon. We were on our way home, and everyone was quiet.
   Awhile later I walked upstairs and Jake went to his room to change. I flopped on my bed and my phone buzzed. It was my best friend Leslie.
   I havent talked to her since i left afterschool because she went to a camp for awhile. I told Jake about her and he said she should come here sometime but we never got in touch:/
   L: Hey girll! miss u://
   E: omg i miss you too! I have so much to tell you about!!!
   L: You'll be able to tell me soon;) But i g2g, bye<3
   I was disappointed she had to go so soon.. Suddenly i felt someone jump on my bed. I looked to my side to see Jake's cute face inches from mine. He put his hands on my cheeks and kissed me.
   "Gotchaa." he smiled and sat up.
   "Meaannn." I giggled and hit him with a pillow. He grinned and laid back on my bed, looking at me weird.
   "What.?"
   "Your cute." He said quietly and kept staring at me.
   "Stop staring at meeee." I whined and hid my face in my pillows. He laughed and flipped on my TV. We wactched Mtv till it got dark and Jake slid off my bed. I closed my eyes and rolled over to the warm space where he was laying.
   "Get some sleep. Big day tomorrow.." He kissed my foreead and walked towards the door. I looked up confused.
   "What's tomorrow?"
   Jake looked at me from the doorway and winked.
   "You'll see."

   (Jake's POV) chapter 14
   I can't believe this happened. I was so happy we got back together and this happened. I tried to console Emily as much as i could but its so hard. We went into her mom's room. I heard Emily start breathing hard again so i tried to calm her down, holding her hand and hugging her.
   We stayed in the room for awhile, although her mom was unconscious. Me and my mom walked out of the room so Emily could be alone, she walked out 10 minutes later. "She wont wake up." She sighed, her voice was scratchy. My mom talked to the doctor and he said she might not wake up until tomorrow, it was a pretty bad collision.
   We all drove home and silently went to bed. It was 10:00. "Can you stay in my room tonight?" Emily said quietly at my door. I said yes and quickly changed, meeting emily in her room. She sat on the bed, i could see she was trying not to cry. We got into the bed and under the covers. I hugged her tight and she buried her face into my neck.
   The next morning was quiet. We ate breakfast and my mom called the hospital. The doctor told us we could see her this evening, and that she woke up and was going to be okay. Until then, I need to do something to get her mind off of things. I waited till she finished eating. "Beach?" "i dont wannaa.." She sighed.
   "Yes you do. I making you." I smiled, leaning closer to her. I'll just act like nothings wrong so she'll think about other things.
   "cant make mee." She smiled a little and crossed her arms. "yes i cannn" I said and scooped her up like a baby, running up the stairs. She laughed and grabbed my neck. Its the first time I've heard her laugh since yesterday afternoon. I threw her on her bed and went to walk out. "Get ready babe." i smiled at her and walked out. Thank god she smiled back.
   We went to the beach together and hung out, tanned and walked around. The water was freezing. Emily was still quiet while we were walking. "C'mon em, the doctor said she'll be okay. Be happyy!" I said and skipped ahead of her, walking backwards. "I am happyy.." She smiled alittle and looked out at the water. I didnt believe her, so i ran at her and picked her up, spinning around. "If you dont get happy right now I'm gonna throw you in the water again!" I yelled, she squealed and slipped out of my hands. She landed on her feet but still fell in the sand. I tripped over her and poked her.
   "Happy yet?" I laughed, she was screaming and kicking, people were giving us weird looks but i didnt care, Emily is all i care about right now.
   "Yess yess yess jakke" She laughed and rolled away from me. I stood and helped her up. I grabbed her hand and we kept walking. "I love youu." She smiled at me and kissed my cheek.
   We hung out for awhile longer and she started to feel better. I feel bad that she's gonna get upset again after we go to the hospital..

   (Emily's POV) chapter 14
   "Your mother was in a car crash", was the first thing I heard walking into the hospital. My mom was in a car crash..
   Jake and I ran over to the door the nurse pointed to. A doctor stopped us. "She is in critical condition, no visitors." He said sternly. "You don't understand. I'm her daughter, i need to see her." I said quickly, trying not to cry. Jake squeezed my hand. "I understand, but she is in a bad way and we cant have anyone around right now. You can wait in the hall, if you'd like." He looked at me with pity and walked away, reading a clipboard.
   I didn't listen to the doctor and reached for the doorknob. Jake tried to pull me back but i swung the door open and jumped inside. Jake sighed, looked down the hall and stepped in, closing the door behind him. I looked at my mom in disbelief. She had bandages all over her. She was cut up and had all these machines attached to her. We stood there, motionless. I felt my eyes tear up.
   I couldn't talk, i couldnt move. I stood there and stared at her motionless body. She was breathing, but she looked dead. I felt lightheaded. This can not be happening. Suddenly a nurse opened the door, looking at us. "You shouldnt be in here." She said in a quiet, annoyed voice. Jake looked at me to leave, but i didnt even move my eyes. I just stood there. Jake grabbed my hand softly and led me out. I caught a last glimpse of my mom before the nurse shut the door.
   As soon as we walked out to the hallway I broke down. I slid down the side of the wall and hugged my knees. I don't care if people look at me like I'm stupid. Jake sat next to me and hugged me. I just cried into his shoulder.
   After I calmed down a little we just sat quietly at the wall. Jake looked down the hall to the nurse at a desk. His mom was talking to her. She turned around and saw us. Her face was just as red as mine. She walked over to us and bent down to hug me. "I'm so sorry sweetie. Everything is gonna be fine." I couldnt decide if she was telling the truth or not. What if something went wrong? She can't leave me like this.
   "Your mom was driving home from the grocery store and someone hit her.." I started crying again.
   We sat there for hours, I couldnt stop thinking of worst case scenarios. Just as something was fixed in my life, something else falls apart. Drowning in my thoughts, I heard a man call us. "She's stable enough for you to see her."

   (Jake's POV) chapter 13
   I watched Emily the whole time I sang. I was afraid to look at anyone else. My hands shook as i strummed the guitar. She looked upset at first but finally smiled at the end.
   I leaned back from the mic and sighed in relief. The crowd cheered and jumped around. My boys were standing in the front of the stage jumping around yelling "OOOOHHH". I just sang a song..that i wrote..in front of all these people.. I pulled the mic off the stand and took a deep breath.
   "Emily, you have to believe me. I didn't mean to, i didnt want to." Then i shot a look to Natalie, who was giving me a dirty look. "Natalie, I'm sorry. I dont like you. I don't want to kiss you. I love Emily more than anything, and you can't stop that." Natalie huffed and walked off the beach, Kelly and Megan following. The crowd cheered again.
   I looked to the back of the crowd for Emily, but she wasn't there. I quickly scanned the crowd for her, nothing. I got scared, did she really just leave? "Emily?" I asked into the mic. I waited for a minute and got up, walking off to the stairs. The crowd was quiet whispering. Suddenly i felt someone tugging on my shoulders. I spun around. Emily jumped and wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me.
   The crowd aww'd and screamed. I felt Emily smiling. She backed off and smiled at me. "I'm sorry I didn't believe you..I'm so so sorry. I love you too." She said and kissed my cheek again. I looked down, realizing I was still holding the microphone. Emily looked and turned bright red, but still smiled. She took it from me and put it back on the stand, grabbed my hand and ran off so the band could go up.
   People told me how good it was as we walked, and some girls gave me dirty looks, but i dont care. Emily and I are together again and thats all that matters.

    What was he going up there for? I don't wanna stand here and listen to him talk. I grabbed Jen's arm and pulled her to the back of the crowd. "I gotta leave.."
    I heard Jake's voice through the amps. "Emily..Don't leave just yet." He asked. Jen made me stop, and we turned around. "Everyone, that's my girl right there." He pointed to the back of the crowd at me. Everyone turned around and stared. "Not anymore.." I mumbled under my breath and turned to walk away again.
    "I promised her I'd sing for her birthday.." Everyone awww'ed and smiled, still watching me. "Remember when we met and you hated me? I wrote this about 3 days after that. I know your mad at me, but I love you..and I'm sorryy." He smiled and breathed out into the mic. Again, everyone awwwed. I felt myself turn red. Jake turned around and grabbed a guitar some guy was holding and sat on a stool in front of the mic. He took a deep breath and started playing.

    (Emily's POV) chapter 12
    I walked home crying, Jake following farther behind me. He tried to talk to me but I wouldnt answer. I went into the house and ran to my room, slamming my door shut. Jake knocked and tried to come in but i ignored him and blasted my music. A girl named Jen I met from the party texted me. "Hey girl! Whats up?" I sniffled and replied. We talked for awhile and she invited me to come to this concert on the beach. It was on my birthday. I wasnt in the mood to go, but it would be my birthday and Jake was not going to ruin that for me.
    I told her I would go and we video chatted for awhile. I told her about Jake. "What a douche!" She explaimed, "I'm so sorryyy girl. The concert will make you feel better." She smiled and danced in her chair. We talked for an hour and hung up the chat. She made me feel alittle better. I wanted to cry again, but i needed to be strong so Jake would understand that i dont need him.
    ......
    Two days past and it was my birthdayy!! I've barely spoken to Jake since the beach. I got dressed slowly and walked off to the beach without telling Jake. I dont care where he is anyway.
    I met Jen at the beach, people were just setting up the stage and cleaning the beach. We tanned for alittle while and went swimming. We met 2 guys named Alec and Bret. Bret was reaallly cute. He had short brown hair and brown eyes. He seemed to like me. Alec and Jen were hitting it off too, splashing each other in the water. I wasnt exactly in the mood to flirt though. I looked up at the beach and saw 3 guys walk up from behind the dunes. I immeidiatly knew it was Jake, Mitch and Jack.
    I saw Jake look at me for a moment and look away. Mitch looked at us, and said something to Jake pointing at us, stupid..
    "Who's that?" Bret asked me, looking up at them. "Uhhmm.. I dont know..just some kids that i saw at a party i think." I lied, wading around in the water. "Natalie's party? yeah i think i saw you, you were reallly cute.." he smiled and winked at me, just like Jake did. I smiled alittle and felt guilty. Maybe i was being mean to Jake, maybe Natalie did push herself on him..bitchh.
    About 45 minutes later some bands started playing on the stage. A group of people crowded around dancing. Me and Jen walked up to dance. We danced with eachother and other people for a long time. I was finally getting my mind of of Jake. After a song ended the band got off and a DJ walked up to the mic. "Yo beach goerrss!" He yelled, and the crowd cheered. "We're gonna do some volunteer singers or dancers while the next band gets ready.
    Some kids went up and did break- dancing. Of course, Natalie and her friends went up in their bikinis to dance like whores, and all the guys cheered. After acouple minutes the music stopped. Jake walked onto the stage...
    I needa make the next one in Emily's POV again..ohwell(: do you guys like thiss? comment!!

    (Jake's POV) chapter 11
    I woke up late and rolled out of bed. Everything was quiet, so i guessed Emily was still sleeping. Our moms went out for the day. I checked my phone. "You've been tagged in a picture; 3 people like your picture..." I opened my computer to check what was all over facebook. I clicked on the picture i was tagged in. I saw me and a girl kissing, i guessed it was Emily and liked it. But when I looked at it again i realized it wasnt Emily...Natalie?!
    My heart legit stopped and i stared at the picture for like a minute. I scrolled down to the caption, "What a cute couple!<33" Emily liked it. I clicked her name to go to her profile. "Emily has changed her relationship status from 'in a relationship' to 'single'."
    WHAATT?! I jumped off of my chair and ran into Emily's room. I need to explain this. She wasnt there.. I looked out the window and saw her walking waaayy down the road. I threw on whatever was on my floor and flew out the door, running after her.
    I finally got to the beach after Emily. I couldnt find her. I ran out to the middle of the beach panting, scanning all over for her. I heard a quiet cry over the waves and spun around. Emily was sitting at the bottom of the dunes, hugging her knees watching me. She turned her head to the side.
    I sprinted over to her, tripping in the sand. I looked up at her, but she wasnt laughing. Not even a smile.
    "I can explain.." I panted, crawling over next to her. "No." She mumbled, turning her head away from me. I ignored her and tried to tell what was happening. "First off, she kissed me. I didnt kiss her." I paused for a minute. "That doesnt make it better." She breathed in sharp, trying to control herself. "I know, but when i realized what was happening i pushed her off. okay? I don't like her, Emily. I love you. just you."
    She stood up and walked away, ignoring my explanation. "What? you dont trust me?" I followed behind her. "I dont know, Jake. They got a picture of it. If it happened that fast she wouldnt have been able to.." She breathed, still walking away from me, back to the house. "You have to believe me." I grabbed her shoulders and turned her to face me. Her face was red and tears were all down her cheeks. "I love you. i would never do that to you."
    She smiled alittle and looked down, and turned to walk away from me.

    The party was really fun. I met alot of new people. Some people gave me their numbers, so i have more than 2 friends here. And my birthday is in 2 days!
    Jake has been acting really sketchy lately though..i dont know why. Ever since the party hes always nervous. I hope hes okay..
    I went on my computer and logged into facebook. I think Jake is still sleeping, so i need something to do. I looked through Kelly's facebook pictures from the party. Her kissing Jack..her kissing some random kid..dancing..ohh, naughty..hhahaa. Then there were pictures of other couples at the party. Kendall and Livi, Sam and Risa..Jake and...Natalie?! WHAT? I stared at the picture in disbelief. They were kissingg. and it looked like Jake was going with it.
    I felt my eyes tear up and my throat felt dry. I liked the picture and changed my relationship status to single. People liked and commented on it, but i didnt answer. I laid in my bed and cried.
    An hour later i put myself together alittle and stopped crying. I walked downstairs and got some food, then left to walk to the beach.
    Sorrryy this is shorttt. i need to use Jakes POV for the next part.

    (Jake's POV) chapter 11
    Today was Natalie's party(: I hope Emily will be okay, not knowing anyone..she's got me though(: I got ready for the party, putting on a purple and black plaid shirt, black jeans and my Vans. I walked downstairs and sat on the couch and waited for Em to come down. She finally came down the stairs, cuter than ever. She hopped down the last steps and flashed a smile, flipping her hair.
    We held hands and walked to Natalie's house (she lives close to me). When we got there a ton of kids were in the backyard dancing. The music was banging and strobe lights were everywhere. We walked to the back and a lot of kids said hi to us. I introduced them all to Emily. The girls liked her and the guys all gave her flirty looks. I put my arm around her to tell them to back off.
    We danced for awhile and talked to my friends.
    "I'm gonna go get a drink." Emily yelled over the music to me. She smiled and pushed through the crowd of kids fist pumping. Of course, as soon as Emily left, Natalie walked over to me. "You having fun?" She yelled into my ear. I nodded yes. "Wanna dance?" She asked, smiling at me, and grabbed my hand. "I uhh.." She wouldnt let me finish my answer and started dancing. She stayed right on top of me the whole time. I tried to back away from her but she wouldnt leave. Suddenly she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me. I went with it for a second, not realizing what was happening. When i did, i immiediatly pushed her off of me. "I have a girlfriend." I yelled through the music. She tilted her head in confusion. "Really? I didnt know." She smiled. She knew damn well Emily was my girl. I gave her an angry look. She smiled at me, put her hand on my chest and turned to walk away. I stood there confused for a minute and i felt a tap on my shoulder. I spun around, it was Emily. My heard skipped 200 beats. Did she see that?! I guess she saw the nervous look on my face because she asked if i was okay. Thank god she didnt see it. I took her hands and we danced more, but i couldnt take my mind off of Natalie. I cant believe she did that.
    We stayed at the party until about 11pm and walked home. We went to bed soon after, but i couldnt sleep. I hope she doesnt find out..

    (Emily's POV) chapter 10
    Me, my mom and Alice(Jake's mom) shopped for about 4 hours and finally went home. I was sitting at my computer desk when i heard the front door open. I ignored it and went on my facebook stalking. "SAVED YOUR LIFE!" Jake yelled and pulled me off my chair to the side. He threw me on my bed so i was like laying on it halfway and pinched my sides. I screamed and slid to the floor.
    I stood up and flicked my hand over his hair, making it flip akwardly to the side. "Nobody messes with my hair." He leaned in so he was like right on top of me. "Come at me bro." I stood up on my tip-toes and looked at him. He half smiled and tried to kiss me. I backed up quickly and giggled. "Can't get me that easy kid."
    He laughed and grabbed my waist, picking me up. I put my legs around his waist and he bent over so I was close to the floor. "How about now? Orrr i can drop you." He laughed, putting his forehead on mine. I let him kiss me and he put me down. "I win." he grinned and sat on my bed.
    "Wanna see my outfit for the party tomorrow?" I asked, grabbing some clothes from the shopping bags. "mmmmm sure." He said tired, and layed back. I ran into the bathroom and changed. I got a blueish(periwinkle?) shirt that was flowy on the sleeves and sparkly down the middle, and white shorts, and silver shoes with a small heel. I walked into my room again, Jake was still on my bed. "Goood?" I asked, standing in my doorway doing stupid poses. Jake sat up and stared at me. "Ohh dayumm. I'm gonna have the hottest girl at the party." He smiled proudly, still looking at me. He stood up and walked up to me, "I gotta go change and shower." He stopped in front of me and brushed my hair back, he whispered "You're beautiful." And walked out.
    I changed into pjs and layed on my bed. Jake came in 45 minutes later. We sat on my bed and talked for awhile. We played the question game until about midnight. It was my turn to ask him something. "What's something that nobody else knows about you?" Jake thought for a minute and looked around my room. "Can't tell you..." He finally said and smiled at me. "You have tooo." I smiled and flipped my bangs out of my face. "Finee..I uhh..like to sing kinda..and play guitar.." He half smiled and looked down. "Awww! thats awesome! sing something?" I asked, he looked up and nodded his head 'no'. "Pleeaaasse?" I pleaded, but he said no. He rolled off my bed and stood next to me. "Tell you what. I'll sing you something for your birthday." My birthday was coming up in one week, and I'll be 16(:
    "Fineeeee." I sarcastically rolled my eyes and folded my arms. "Night babe." He said and kissed my forehead.

    I don't know who John is, but he seems nice.. Maybe Em's mom will get married and move here and i can be with Em all the time(: Summer is over in like a month..):
    I sat on the couch and watched tv for alittle, and Emily walked over after 10 minutes. She sat on the other side of the couch and looked at me. She looked worried.. I sat up and grabbed her hand. I saw my mom look at us from the corner of my eye, so i stood up and pulled her upstairs to my room.
    "What happened?" She looked at me and to the floor. She folded her arms and looked around my bedroom. I started getting nervous...
    "We might move down here so my mom and John can be together!" She smiled and threw her arms around me. Whaat just happened?! Did i call that or what!? I hugged her and picked her up. I put her down and she just smiled huge. "Thats awesome! Are they getting married?!" I babbled, i cant believe this might happen. "I dont know. She wants me to meet him first. She said its important that I like him..." She grinned, sitting on my bed.
    I stood in front of her and held her hands. "This is awesome. I hope everything works out!" i laughed, she squeezed my hands and stood up. She kissed my cheek and walked to the door. "I have to go shopping with my mom and your mom. I wanna get an outfit for this party. You can come if you wantt." She said as she walked into her room. "I think I'll just hang out with my boys here. You ladies go shopppinnn' " I said in a girly voice. She threw a pillow at me and hit my face. I chucked it back at her and went back to my room.
    I texted Mitch and told him and Jack to come over.
    Emily and our moms left, and Jack and Mitch came shortly after. We went to the beach to surf.
    We stayed at the beach for acouple hours and got out of the water. I threw my board down and went to get a towel. From the corner of my eye I saw 3 girls walking towards us. "Ohhhh shiitt." Jack mumbled, watching them. I looked up and saw Natalie, Megan and Kelly. They looked like they should be swimsuit models. "Hey cutiess." Jack said. I saw him trying to flex his abs. Natalie smiled and stood in front of us. "Hey Jakee." Natalie smiled at me, Kelly and Megan were talking to Jack and Mitch.
    "Uhh hi." I said, trying not to sound interested. Emily is all i want, Natalies just maddd hottt. Snap out of it! i cant do that!
    We hung out and talked for awhile, Mitch and Jack were flirting away while i was trying to keep my distance from Natalie. When they finally left me and my boys packed up and went home. When i got back our cars were in the driveway.

    (Emily's POV) chapter 9
    Our kiss felt like it was pulled right out of one of those summer love books. When we pulled away i whispered, "Your perfect." And we walked home.
    We got home awhile later, still soaked. I heard our moms talking, and an unfamiliar voice. It sounded like a man.
    Jake and I walked in and saw our moms and a man i didnt know...holding my mom's hand?! My mom jumped up, startled, and looked at us. Jake's mom grabbed 2 towels and threw them to us. As we wrapped ourselves up, Jakes mom observed our soaked clothes. "What happened to you guys?" She laughed. I explained before Jake could speak- "He threw me in the ocean." I giggled, looking up at Jake. He turned bright red and put one hand behind me, poking my back. I moved around trying not to laugh. Our moms looked at us weird.
    "Guys, this is John.." My mom said, looking up at the tall man, "He's my...boyfriend.." She looked at me cautiously. Awkwarddddd... John broke the silence, holding out his hand. "Nice to meet you, I've heard good things about you!" he smiled, i shook his hand. "Nice to meet you..." I shot a look at my mom, and grabbed Jake's hand again. “I uhh- gotta go change..” I said quick, and walked upstairs. “Well that went better than I expected.” I heard my mom say. I went into my room with Jake and closed my door. “What, you want me to change with you?” He smirked. I breathed out slow and looked at the ground. I felt a catch in my throat.
    “What’s wrong?” Jake asked, sounding concerned. “Mom said she would never date again..She’s going to get hurt..” I tried not to cry. Jake hugged me tight, pressing his lips into my hair. We stood there for a minute until Jake let go, “Lemme go change, I’ll be right back.” I changed too, and sat on my bed. I put my head in my hands and breathed deep. A couple minutes later I felt Jake’s hand on my neck. He laid on my bed next to me and pulled me down next to him. I curled up and buried my head into his chest. Jake flipped the TV on to a random movie.
    I fell asleep for about an hour or so, and woke up to his perfect face, his steady breathing. He looked down at me and smiled alittle. “Feel better?” He asked. “Mhmmmmm..” I goaned sleepily. I got up to get a drink, Jake followed. I saw our moms reading magizines in the living room. I tried to be quiet so they wouldn’t see us. Unfortunately, my mom turned around and looked at me. “Emily, can I talk to you?” She asked quietly.
    Jake put his hand on my shoulder and whispered “good luck” in my ear. I looked up at him and he walked away. My mom and I walked into the other room and sat on the couch. “Soo uhh..about John..”

    We laughed and rolled in the sand for a couple seconds. She stood up and grabbed my hand. I stood up and wrapped my arms around her waist. "I still dare you to jump in.." She smiled up at me. I looked out at the water and back at her. "Its cold.." I grinned, she giggled "Too bad tough guy."
    "You have to go in with me then." I smiled, holding her waist tighter. She looked at me, widening her eyes, and looked at the water. "ITS COLLLDD" she said in a low voice. "Ohwelll." I laughed, walking to the water. "No Jake i canntt." She fought against me, trying to pull back to the dunes. "Nope. You dared me."
    "I didnt say with me though!!" She laughed. "Well then I dare you to come with me!" She kept pulling against me, although she wasnt nearly as strong. She spun around and pushed against me, but i kept my arms around her. I grabbed her hands and we kind of wrestled. Emily tripped and fell on her back. I leaned over her, picking her up. She squealed and tried to curl into a ball. I adjusted my hands so i was holding her like a baby. She yelled at me through her laughter.
    "I'm gonna throw you in then!" I laughed, spinning in circles. She squeaked and tried to push away from me. "Nooo Jake! Let me downn!" She laughed. I ran closer and closer to the water until i was waist deep. Emily shut her eyes tight so I'm sure she didnt know i was in the water. I threw her as hard as I could, sending her into the water. Acouple seconds later she came back up to the surface, laughing and gasping for air. Her hair was all over her face and her clothes were soaked.
    "I'm gonna kill youu!" She yelled, starting to move towards me. I ran to shallow water and stopped. "You cant kill me if your that slow!"
    She laughed and ran as fast as she could towards me, splashing everywhere. As she was about to run into me, i hooked my arms behind her and picked her up, spinning around. I put her down and we just stood there. She stared at me and stood up taller. I leaned down and kissed her. She put her arms around my neck and ran her hands through my soaked hair. I could feel her smiling. It was the most perfect kiss I've ever had. She pulled away and smiled at me. I winked, grabbed her hand and we walked back down the beach towards home.

    The 3 girls that were inside were staring at me..It was really creepy. They got up and breezed out the door. They all stopped in a line behind Mitch. Megan flipped her long blonde hair as her piercing blue eyes shot me a look before looking to Jake. Megan and Kelly stood on either side of her. "Hey guys!" She smiled, her teeth were perfectly white. Jake's eyes swept from me to Megan and the girls. "Uhh..hey Meg." He half smiled nervously.
    Megan Kelly and Natalie smiled at Jack and Mitch and said hi. "Who your friend?" Kelly asked, nodding to me, like couldn't speak for myself. Her voice sounded like a little girl. "This is my girlfriend, Emily." I smiled and leaned into Jake. He dragged out the word girlfriend so they would get itt.
    "Aww, your so prettyy!" Megan smiled at me, then looked at her friends. Megan looked at all of us, "We should all totally hang out this week! My parents are out of town and I'm having a party, you guys should come!" She said, leaning against the table. I could see her squeezing her arms so her boobs would look bigger.
    "We're in. See you there." Jack winked at Kelly. She faked a smiled and they walked away.
    Later that day me and Jake were walking on the beach near his house. The one that I told him about my dad. We held hands and watched the waves as we walked. "I dare you to dive in!" I laughed, pushing him towards the water. He tripped and fell into the sand. I stood over him laughing. He brushed the sand off his face and grabbed my ankle. He yanked it out from under me, and i fell on top of him in the sand.
