Falling
Part 21
The three of us stopped skating for a little and ate lunch. I got fries and a soda (of course Greg paid for me). Ana got the same as me and Greg said he couldn't eat.
"What's wrong, baby?" I asked.
"Oh, I don't know. Nick is all by himself. Do you think I was too mean?"
"Well, no. I mean, I feel bad too but we're right and he's wrong. Now he's paying for it," I answered.
"Don't lose sleep over him. He's not worth it," Ana said.
Then I looked at Greg. He seemed really upset about all of this. I reached onto my plate and picked up a fry.
"Eat something," I said, handing it to Greg. He just took it without speaking. He turned and looked at me. I leaned in and kissed him. He put his hand on my hip.
"It will all be okay," I said, "I promise."
"Kay."
After Ana and I finished, the three of us went back onto the ice. Greg and I held hands and Ana skated next to me.
About an hour later, Greg and Ana had to go to the bathroom, so I waited for them on a bench near the rental area. Nick walked up to me and sat down.
"Being with Ana was a mistake," he said.
"Just leave me alone."
He ignored me and continued. "I love you, not Ana."
I looked at him. Then he leaned in for a kiss and I didn't resist. I didn't know what I was thinking! He planted one on me. He started to not just kiss me, but make out with me. He really got into it. He was grabbing me and pulling me closer. He was using tongue too. And I didn't try to stop him. Greg and Ana walked out of the bathroom. They saw everything.
Then Greg walked up to me and said, "You owe me six dollars for the soda and fries. I don't buy things for anyone but my girlfriend."
"Greg no wait!" I said.
"I don't want to hear your explainations anymore, Nicole."
"Greg, please. You don't know what happened!"
"I do. I saw it all. He kissed you first but you didn't do anything to stop it."
"I'm sorry," I said honestly.
"I don't buy it."
Ana was speachless throughout all of this. Then she finally said, "I'm not mad at you. You have enough people mad. But I don't like this at all."
Then they left. I ran up to Greg and said, "Please don't do this."
"I guess you aren't that different from your mother," he said.
I walked back to the bench.
Nick looked at me and began to kiss me again. I pushed him back by his shoulders.
"Please stop ruining my life."
