it's not like alcohol or something.
i mean, when i was 3, i loved my teddy bear.
the only difference now is that my teddy bear
is 6 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes,
he can walk and talk, and i think
he loves me back.

I wasn't wearing
makeup
My hair was down, but it wasn't straightened;
I was too tired to deal with the curly, frizzy mess.
We stopped at a gas station, where 2 guys told me I was beautiful.
No one ever tells me that. even when I try to look presentable.
The crazy thing?
When I went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror,
I actually believed them
