That’s the thing about living in a place like Violet Glen, Vermont.
Sure, the trees and flowers smell twenty times better than any plant in any other place in the world, the drinking water is purified by hand, the estates are large and decadent, and the people look like they’ve just stepped out of this week’s Vogue. So maybe our schools are among top in the nation, our teachers top in the continent. I suppose the dazzling European luxury cars parked in the lots of charming designer boutiques, finely crafted fountains jetting out from every intersection, and the breathtaking aroma of roses and vanilla which blankets the entire city is a bit distracting.
But that’s the thing about living in a place like Violet Glen: nothing ever seems to change.
