All of the good people left because of what Witty has become. Everyone either jocks quotes or rants about the same thing over and over. reply

I really do agree with a lot of this. I've been here for the years total. But the thing is that, Witty is kind of old. Everything dies in a way. It got really popular and then crashed, but that happens. And please don't feel insulted for this next comment, but part of the reason it died was likely because people kept pointing out flaws and such, and it got annoying, and people felt like those types of quotes were attacking them. As for originality (pardon if that's not the proper term), at what I remembered to be the peak, quotes were being jocked left and right, but Tumblr (which is huge competition for Witty) wasn't very big, and the sites quotes were jocked from were horribly unorganized reply
