    Finding Wonderland
    Chapter Six
Please leave comments and let me know what you think(:
Truth was, I wasn't ready to talk to my mom. I needed sleep and wasn't in the mood for talking to anyone! I heard her run by several times but than the house was silent for a little while. Suddenly I heard voices coming from the living room, she must had turned the TV on. I couldnt believe she'd actually be watching TV when I couls possily be missing! What kind of mother was she?
The next morning I woke up in the closet, the blankets had all fell and I was the only thing on the shelve. I was guessing my mom never found me since I was still here. did she even care that I was gone? I reached down to the doornob in the closet, I couldn't reach it. Somehow getting in the closet was much easier than getting out. I Moved my way down to the shelve under me and grabed the doornob. Opening it slowly I crept out and shut it with almost no sound at all. I couldnt decide where to go... to bed? outside? Clearly my mom wasn't awake yet. I decided to go outside and look for wonderland again.
'Its morning, it will be easier' I thought to myself. I tip toed up to my room. I had never noticed how when the sun beamed off my pink walls, it made everything in my room pink! I opened my closet and grabed blue shorts and a t-shirt that i got from disney that said "if you can dream it, you can do it" I thought it was very appropriate for my situation. I slipped on a pair of black coverse my mom had got for me and tip toed back downstairs, grabbing a light, blue jacket on the way out. It was spring so it was warm but I didnt know how wonderland would be. I have to be prepared. I closed the door so quietly, that I could barly hear it than skipped my way to the edge of the woods.

    Finding Wonderland
    Chapter Five
Please leave comments and let me know what you think(:
“And they lived happily ever after.” I finished, as I closed the hard cover book and looked up into my mom’s bright smiling eyes. I closed my eyes and laid my head of her chest. My mother held me tight and we just sat there for a while, no one said a word or moved a muscle.
“So how’d it go, finding wonderland?” My mom asked, the worst question of my life, the one I dreaded to hear. I was a failure.
“I found it, I just have to find the way in.” I said holding in the tears, I knew there wasn’t a way in, I was wrong. That rabbit hole wasn’t wonderland.
“Well, did you look for a door, maybe a window, did you try knocking?” I couldn’t believe my mother was saying all these things; she was making a joke of wonderland.
“MMMOOOOMMM” I said in an annoyed tone, I leaped off her lap and stood my ground.
“Wonderland IS real and I WILL find it!” I screamed. I ran out of my room, slamming the door behind me. I didn’t know where to go, what to do. It was getting dark and I was no longer allowed outside. I decided to hide, someplace away from my mom, where she could never find me. I just needed to get away. I ran into the closet at the bottom of the stairs that had spare blankets in it. It was a big closet and I fit very easily in it, I climbed up to the second shelve and laid flat down piling blankets on top of me. I began to crying quietly, wiping the tears with the blanket on top of me. I slid back all the way against the wall on the shelf, and fell asleep.
“Maggie? Maggie? Sweetie please come here, I’m sorry for making fun of wonderland.” I opened my eyes.

    Finding Wonderland
    Chapter Four
Please leave comments and let me know what you think(:
I sat at the table quiet as a mouse and slouched in my chair. I wasn’t ready to tell my mom that I was too big to fit into the Rabbit hole. I was hoping she wouldn’t ask. ‘How did Alice do it?’ I thought to myself.
“Sweetie bring your plate over, I made your favorite! Spaghetti.” My mom called from the Kitchen. She looked happy; why was she happy? Could she not see how upset I was? Spaghetti was my favorite. I stood up with my plate and walked slowly over to the stove, doing a little hop in my step. I wasn’t sure why I did that, I had since I fist started walking; I guess it just stuck. People would say it was cute, and that was fine with me. The spaghetti looked especially good and I couldn’t wait to eat it, as soon as it hit my plate I practically ran back to the table and began to eat. My mom joined me and laughed about my excitement about the spaghetti.
“Do you want anything to drink?” my mom asked me while whipping the spaghetti sauce from around her mouth.
“Can I have some Gatorade?” I said. It wasn’t exactly a question because I knew I could have some Gatorade. My mom only shook her head because her mouth was still full with food. She slipped out of her chair and walked over to the fridge.
“Blue, red, or orange?” she asked.
“Red, Can I pour it please?” I begged.
“Okay, I’ll hold the cup for you and you pour, but only if you can pour me some too.” She said teasingly. Truth was, Gatorade was never her favorite but she always got it just because I loved pouring. It made me feel grown up. I pushed back my seat and moved over to my mom, who was already holding the red Gatorade in her hands. She held the cup and I poured my Gatorade all the way to the very tiptop. My mom didn’t like when I did that but she never yelled at me for it.
“What color Gatorade do you want mommy?” I asked smiling up at my mom.
“Hm. I like the blue one.”
“I CAN GET IT!!!!!” I said eager to get the bottle of Gatorade. I walked over to the fridge and reached up for the blue Gatorade all the way on the top shelve. I had to stand on the fridge floor just to be able to reach it. My fingers barley touched the sides of the container but I was able to twist and pull it closer and than grab it. It took me two hands to carry it over to the counter.
“Got it?” My mom said, offering some help.
“I got it.” I said half smiling. I couldn’t fully smile because all my energy was being used to carry the Gatorade; it was really heavy for me. I poured it for my mom than she put both Gatorades back and the fridge and we both brought our drinks to the table. I had to take a sip of mine first because it was too full to carry it without spilling. We sat down at the table and laughed and talked while we ate my favorite food.

    Finding Wonderland
    Chapter Three
Please leave comments and let me know what you think(:
My heart was racing; I ran out the front door onto our small country style porch and slipped on a pair of pick flats. I couldn’t wait any longer, I ran as fast as I could to the back yard. My purple skirt flowed wildly in the wind. There I stood before the woods. Was I nervous? I couldn’t decide; all that I knew was that I was a determined seven-year-old girl of a mission to find wonderland. Without any second thought I wandered into the woods. I wasn’t exactly sure of what I was looking for, just anything out of the ordinary. I checked under every big rock and behind every tree I walked past. I listened to the birds and searched for rabbits, there was nothing. Than I saw it… I white rabbit sitting just at the edge of a tall tree not too far from where I was. I creped slowly towards it, hiding behind other trees so it didn’t see me. I was right there, only a couple inches laid between this rabbit and me. There was a rustle in the trees on the other side of the rabbit, probably just the wind moving some leaves. The rabbit quickly started running away from the noise. This was the moment, my chance; I chased after the rabbit going from tree to tree so I wouldn’t be seen. The Rabbit scurried behind a tall tree and disappeared into a hole right on the edge of the tree. I hurried over, peering into the dark hole. ‘Well that’s where the rabbit went’ I thought to myself. It was just then I figured out, the rabbit hole was far too small for me to fit into. I knelt on the ground and peered into the rabbit hole, it was deep and dark and I couldn’t see a thing. It couldn’t be a world, there was no way in! And in any world there is always some way in. I could hear a voice in the distance towards my house.
“Maggie, come on in for dinner.”

    Finding Wonderland
    Chapter Two
Please leave comments and let me know what you think(:
I was seven years old. Sitting in my favorite chair, by a window in the far corner of my small room, I looked up from the book in my hand. The book was the story of Alice in Wonderland. I thought about a life where animals could talk to me. I could actually have a friend who could listen to me. I thought of a world where everything seemed so unreal, where anything was possible. (I guess being such a young girl, I let my imagination get ahead of myself, because the truth is, there is NO happy endings). I stood up, still deep in thought. “What if…” I threw the book on the chair and ran to the doorway of my room. “What if I could find Wonderland!” I rushed out of my room, and down the stairs. I was so lost in my imagination that I had forgotten I was walking down stairs, and fell. I landed at the bottom of the stairs in front of the front door.
“oww!” I cried out. The fall didn’t hurt; it was just the shock of falling that scared me into crying.
“Maggie? Honey, are you okay? What happened?” My mother rushed around the corner from the TV room. She had a concerned look on her face as she rushed over to me and helped me up.
“Mom” I said wiping the tears from my eyes and getting back to what I was about to do.
    “I’m going to find wonderland.”
“Ohh, Alright! Have fun but you need to be home in time for dinner.” She replied laughing a little at me. This was no joking matter, I was determined, I was going to find wonderland.

    Chapter One

Snow White… My favorite story of them all. There was something about it that just made it overrule the others. Maybe it was because I was only seven years old, No the reason I like snow white was because it had everything a person wants. She has true friends who stay with her, She had the prettiest gowns and dresses, the best attitude about everything and best of all she had the Prince! Even a little girl at the age of seven, so naive, too young to realize what love is, even she would know that love is the most powerful thing in the world. My mother would come up to my room and sit with me, I read the story to her, and she listened. I must have done it thousands of times, and my mom sat there and listened again and again

    Finding Wonderland
    Intro
Leave comments, Please let me know what you guys think(: <3
Once upon a time there was a women who discovered she had turned into the wrong person. Ever since I was a little girl I had always loved Fairy Tales But even in the wildest dreams I would have never imagined I would be living one. I know every Fairy Tale in the book, when I was little I would spend days sitting in my room and reading all the enchanting stories. It was my escape, talking animals, hidden castles, walking cards, dwarfs that lived in the woods, knights in shinning armor; It was all so much larger than me, than anybody, thats what I liked about them. It took me to a whole knew world where nothing could go wrong. Even then I knew something about them had to be real, im not saying talking doors or evil queens, but the concept of a Fairy Tale, I mean where else did these stories come from? Wonderland? I spent my entire childhood searching the woods for deep rabbit holes, little houses containing dwarfs and hidden castles, It was then; I mean after I didnt find anything that I realized that the secret would have to come from the inside out. I had only looked in the places in the book; It they made it that obvious, everyone would find it. These enchanting worlds would have to be in the last place anybody would look, some place that seemed impossible to find. That was only the truest people of them all could see these places.
