My hair's black again, I'm either locked in my room or out somewhere, my nails are always black, my makeup is never anything but black, my clothes cover as much skin as possible..freshman year all over again...why can't i just be happy? </3

I wish I could go back to when I was a little kid, things were much easier.
Socialising was so much easier, you only had to say 'hello' to someone and you could be become the best of friends. Now it seems harder to try and fit everyone's expectations. Boys were one of the last things on our minds. Now people can't wait to get into relationships. Hair and makeup wasn't even a choice, being covered in mud was much more fun. Now girls layer on their makeup to hide their faces. When people asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up, we'd say something ridiculous like 'a moviestar'. Now we understand that that's never going to happen. School was just somewhere where you met up with your friends and painted all day. Now it's seven hours of torture you can't wait to get over and done with.
None of us could wait until we grew up. Now we all wish we could be young again.

Mom, I get that you think I'm immature, stupid, and fat, but really? You asked me today, why I have marker all over my arms. I responded "I had a marker war with my friend." You yelled at me and told me that I was making bad decisions. But, the truth is, I could be making worse. Because, did you know, drawing on yourself is an alternative for self harm?

Me: Not actively, but if something bad were to happen to me, I wouldn't necessarily be upset about it either.
