Liam finished making us lunch, and we walked downstairs to the basement to eat it. He had a huge basement; a plasma-screened tv lined one wall, with various video games consoles littering the ground. Foosball and ping pong tables were in a separate room, along with an extra guest bedroom. We sat down on the couches in front of the television, eating silently for a few minutes.
"You make really good sandwiches," I mumbled, my mouth full of my last bite of sandwich. I took a drink of lemonade, and sat back on the couch.
"Why, thank you darling." Liam replied, sitting on the loveseat across from me.
"Blake wanted me to tell you that he needs to talk to you when he gets home from work."
"Alright," he looked at his watch. "Well, he's not home again for another couple of hours. What do you wanna do until he gets home? We have the house to ourselves..." He said suggestively.
"What do YOU want to do?" I asked, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips.
"Let's watch a movie." Liam stood up and walked over to the movie case in the corner of the room. He rummaged through it for a minute.
"Paranormal Activity?" I asked as he came back towards me with the movie in his hand. "Come on, you know I hate scary movies."
"Let's just watch it." He replied, putting it in and turning down the lights. He sat down next to me, grabbing a blanket off the back of the couch, draping it over the two of us.
"This is going to scare me..." I warned, as the opening credits rolled onto the screen. Liam slid his arm around my shoulders, and I leaned into him.
"I'll protect you, baby." He whispered in my ear. I could feel his lips turn up into a grin, as the movie started.
Fifteen minutes in, and I was always scared sh*tless.
"Can we please turn this off? I hate scary movies, Liam! Please? I'll do anything, I hate this." I begged, my face buried in his chest. I was too afraid to look up at the screen. I felt his chest rumble as he laughed, reaching for the remote that sat next to him. He turned it off, and we were thrown into darkness.
"Thank you so much." I was relieved.
"You said you would do anything for me to turn it off." My heart sped up as he grabbed me around the waist and pulled me up onto his lap. I wrapped my legs around him.
"I did. What do you want me to do?" I questioned, searching his face in the dark.
"Kiss me." He whispered, his lips an inch away from mine. I bit my lip and smiled, leaning in to give him a quick kiss. I pulled away quickly, playing with him.
"There, I did!" I said, starting to pull away. "All done."
"You're not going anywhere." His arms wound around my waist, and his deep voice made shivers go up my spine.
"Oh, really?" I was already leaning in to kiss him again.
"Really." He closed the distance between us, and he softly kissed me, over and over again. I ran my hands through his hair as he deepened the kiss, leaning back on the couch. I laid on my back as he got on top of me, not breaking our kiss. I slipped my tongue into his mouth, as I locked my legs around his waist.; he groaned, moving his lips down to my neck.
"Hey, Abbs?" His lips brushed my ear.
"Yeah?"
"I really, really like you." He bit down softly on my neck, then planted his lips on the marks he made. I placed my hand on his cheek, bringing his lips back up to mine. "I really, really like you too, Liam."
