Dear past crush,
I have liked you since 3rd grade. Six whole years. We've been friends for a long time, and we were really close in 6th grade. In 6th grade you were the one I went to school for, the one that always cheered me up. You were the one who I went to with my problems, and the one that I would text for hours. I told you everything...except that I liked you. I regret that now. I didn't think I could have made it anymore obvious...but I mean hey, I guess guys are just oblivious. In 7th grade you changed a lot. You became more "popular" and completely forgot about me. We grew so far apart last year, I don't think it's possible to become as close as we were again. I miss being best friends. Now, in 8th grade, we are still friends...but not anywhere's near to close. We talk once in a while, and we have a couple classes together. Everytime I see another girl talking to you, I get jealous. Because that girl used to be me. Now we barely talk. I finally told you that I had liked you since 3rd grade, with you only to respond saying you liked my best friend.
