that moment when a picture, or a song, or even a simple sentence reminds you of a memory from when you were happy, and you just sit there and reminisce with a smile on your lips, tears in your eyes, and your chest aches to go back to the easier days. whether the memory was a long time ago, or even a few days, it made you so happy, you just forgot all of the pain and loss you've ever felt, and let yourself have fun. and you sit there, remembering because for that little while, your life was absolutely perfect. it was so good, you wouldn't change a single part of your life at all just so you could experience that moment of sheer joy. and then you sit there, slowly coming back to life, and your chest aches, as you promise yourself that you will feel that happiness again.
