i feel so selfish by commenting because there are so many people that have worse problems than me and are in tougher situations. So i understand if you don't answer right away. But i have a problem that involves a boy and my best friend. I met this guy named Christian that i really liked. And unlike other girls, im not boy crazy, so when i fall, its rare and i fall hard. So me and him got really close and he actually told me he liked me. So i told my best friend for 5 years, Courtney, about him and that i wanted to ask him out. I really liked him. I come into school the next day and said hello to Courtney. She then got up, went to Christian's seat (the only class all three of us have together) and waited for him to come to class. When he did, he grabbed Courtney's hand, led her to the front of the class and asked her out right in front of me. i later found out that she told him my little crush on him and told him all these lies about me. some words i can't say on here, too foul. i don't really know what to do because everytime i fall for a guy, something or someone ruins it. reply

Hello. You are not selfish. Do not name yourself selfish. I love you. I really love you and I have a few things to offer you for your consideration on this. First of all, love, Courtney needs to go. You need to let her go. I do not like her energy, I do not appreciate the pain she has brought to you and everyone needs love but she does not need yours. You need yours right now. Let her go completely. Second, Christian was not the one for you. I know this because if he was, he would have presented himself to you in love and in a way you would have recognized. So, let him go. Let his memory go. Bless everything your experience with him taught you and be at peace with it. Let it fall out of your mind. Most importantly, do not form any ideas about the way love works from this. Open yourself up to love. When the right person presents himself to you, he should not have to fight to convince you that he is the one and you should not have to carry the trouble of being unable to trust him. Open yourself up to love. Surrender to the fullness that love can be and be at peace. That is my advice to you. I really love you. reply
