Today is my grandfather's birthday.
When he was 13 years old, he was diagnosed with cancer. The doctors expected him to die. But guess what? He lived.
60 years later, he's still alive.
I'm 15, and I've got cancer - I'm not expected to get through it either. But my grandfather gives me hope. He's the reason why I didn't become depressed when I was diagnosed. He's the one who showed me to have as much fun as you can, every single day, and live with no regrets; because you might not get to do it tomorrow.

I'm going to come on Witty less from now on;
1. Some people clearly have a problem with me being here.
2. I try to inspire people, but it isn't working anymore.
3. My brain tumor is getting worse. Instead of wasting my last few months on Witty with people who don't want me here, I'm going to spend it with my family, friends and girlfriend.

My girlfriend is busy and my family are out and I'm too sick to go with them, so I decided to come on Witty again.
I logged on to over 100 notifications. 60 new followers, more favorites on all of my quotes, and pages of comments.
Really, I'm amazed.. I'm reading through all of the comments right now, almost in tears, and I'm just so glad that I have managed to make a difference to some people's lives.

How would you feel if your harsh words were the last thing someone saw before they killed themselves? How would you feel, knowing that you were the reason someone put the gun to their head and pulled the trigger? How would you feel knowing you're causing someone's family a life full of the pain of losing someone close to them? Be careful with what you say, everyone has their own battles; their own wars within themselves. A nice smile to random people can make their day a thousand times better.

This really is the last time I'll get to go on Witty...
I'm in hospital right now, my family weren't even allowed to see me until last night. I wanted to talk to all of you people one last time, but the doctors wouldn't let my mom take a laptop - I begged them for an hour to let her, even if I could only use it for 15 minutes (I also begged them to let me see my girlfriend, I can be VERY persuasive when I want haha) ... I was THAT desperate.
But yeah. This is the last time I'll be on Witty.. I could be dead within 2 weeks. It sucks, but everyone will go on without me. They all know that even though I'm not physically with them, I'll always be there; and they can always talk to me, even though I won't be able to respond.
Gah, there's SO many things I want to say to you all, but I don't know how to say them, and anyways I always end up saying the same kind of thing in my quotes in the hope that people would be inspired. I'm a bit of a fail, aren't I? I'm certainly no Martin Luther King Jr, or Nelson Mandela or any of those awesome inspirational people.. I'm just an ordinary 15 year old kid who's going to die of cancer :Z But I still try. I don't like giving up. And I've been told before that my quotes have saved people's lives. That's.. just amazing. It makes me feel like I have made a difference, even though it was just a small difference to the universe. Does that make sense? .. No, I didn't think so. x_x
So, all I can say now is.. Read my other quotes. You don't have to fave them, just read them. And never give up on your life. You can get through this. There's always someone going through worse than you; someone who'd give anything to be you.. Like, I'd give anything to be one of you people here than be dying of cancer like I am now.
You want to be beautiful? Just believe in yourself. Confidence looks good on a girl.

I still can't stop crying.. Last night, a bunch of people I know and love from Witty were saying on Facebook that they want to kill themselves. One of them was my best Witty friend, Lorcan. I've stayed up all night worrying about them. I know what it's like, to feel like nobody cares about you.. Like you're alone in a crowded room. It's a horrible feeling, the worst feeling in the world, but if you just believe in yourself, you CAN get through it.. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel, always.. And there's always someone out there who cares about you; even if they barely know you, THEY STILL CARE. Committing suicide will not make things easier for anyone. Please, don't go through with it. You have so much to live for. Besides, there are so many people going through worse things than you.. Untold amounts of people die every single day from things like cancer, and they didn't even want to die.. It seems unfair and selfish that you want to end your precious life because of temporary problems that you can fix.. Please. If any one of my fellow Wittians ever killed themselves, I would cry for days.

I'm not going to lie,
It doesn't get easier.
I hate waking up every morning, looking at my phone and not seeing any good morning texts from him. I hate going to school and seeing an empty seat in every class where he used to sit. I hate walking past his house, looking up at his bedroom window and seeing the light turned off, no sign of life in that room at all.. I hate not hearing his voice, his laugh, the sound of his guitar. I hate not being in his arms when I need someone to comfort me. I hate walking past his grave, always seeing flowers there, wondering why God had to take him from me when he had such a great life ahead of him.. I hate cancer. I've been trying to stay strong, but it's just so hard.
