Boy Trouble
Chapter one
I've never had any luck with boys,
infact, i've have only dated one boy in fourth grade. But, thats all about to change.
We were two months into school. I was sitting, eating my lunch, when I heard someone from behind me saying my name. I turned around and saw Mrs.Smith(principal) with a new kid. He looked so familiar, I couldn't rap my head around where I saw him from. The two came over and Mrs. Smitth said," Lacy, this is Carter Popehn." Carter had a confused look on his face. "Wait, are you Lacy Nelson?" I hesitated and said,"Yes, thats me!"
His confused look faded away,"Do you remember me?" By that time Mrs. Smith had already walked away. "No, I don't recongize you. I'm sorry." clearly I was lying. My friend Maggie decided to introduce herself,"Hi, I'm Maggie Hennenkamp."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Carter."
"So I heard. What grade are you in?"
"Ninth," I mumbled.
"What?" Carter asked.
"I didn't say anything!"
"I'm in ninth grade, with you guys."
"Cool" Maggie replied.
Finally, after what seemed like FOREVER, Carter said,"I think I see someone I know, nice meeting you Maggie, and nice seeing you again Lacy."
And, with that he walked away.
