Boy Trouble
Chapter 2

After lunch, we went to math. Maggie and I have that class together. Math is on the other side of the school, so we had a long walk.
After awhile, Maggie asks,"How do you know Carter?" How did she know!
"What do you mean" I replied after a while.
"I mean, I could see it on your face that you knew him! And! I can tell when you're lying!" I looked at her, and she raised her eyebrows at me. I looked around the hall to see if Carter was in sight.
"Okay, I know him-" she got cut off by Mag.
"I knew it!" she almost yelled. People were now looking at us, but Maggie didn't care. I glared at her,"Continue please!"
"He was my best friend when I was little. I was overweight at the time, so nobody talked to me. He called me every night." I took a breathe and decided that I should keep on going, "One night at the beginning of fourth grade he called me and asked me out. I said yes without any second thoughts. We were a happy couple. Right before the second trimester ended, he moved away." I hesitated about telling her the next part. "A week later, I found out that he was dating two other girls from our school and one other one from a different school." I almost started crying when we finally made it to math class. The next few classes went by fast, until the last class of the day. I walked in with one of my other friends, Ashely. When we sat down, Carter walked into the classroom.
Mr. Hessling(Science teacher) introduced him, and said, "Why don't you take that empty seat over by Lacy." What!?!?! Ashely must have been looking at my face,"Lacy, you look alittle pale" she whispered.
