so about a week or two a girl in a high school close to mine committed suicide.
our principal announced it on the news, and by the end of the day i saw everyone supporting a 'we miss her why did she have to go' campaign kinda thing on facebook and tweeting about it and wearing hearts everything. now there's nothing wrong with remembering those who have passed. what is wrong is that all these f*cking hypocrites are all saying they're so sad she was gone and she could've talked to them about it and they were there for her and bs like that. literally when i hear garbage like that i just want to explode and scream YOU LIAR! literally if you cared about her, you would've been there to help her WHILE SHE WAS ALIVE, you would've shown your support for her, you would've been her friend. if you wanted to help her, you would've done so while she was ALIVE, its too late once she's dead. your words cant take her back, cant take away the hurt her family has and is going through. i guess what bothers me is that we're all too self-centered and techniologically inclined to do anything while it counts. i'm not saying i'm not one of those people, literally my life is the internet, i would marry the internet and food if i could. but i just get so upset because suicide is a longterm solution to a short term problem, no matter what you are better than what problems you might think you have. things will change, thats what life is, a continuos change, but its literally up to you to decide the direction of it. so please, i'm asking you guys, don't be one of the people stuck in the aftermath of events, be the change and the cause. i know i ranted before about people pretending to be depressed or diseased, but if you have the ability to reach out and affect someone else's life in a positive way, PLEASE DO IT. death is death. nothing can change that, reverse it, take away the pain and suffereing others feel. you all literally have the power to change someone's life, you are more influental than you think, when you're down, remember that your worth is immeasurable, you're the change and the future of tomorrow. you are the driving force behind today, the leaders of tomorrow. what kind of leaders would we all be if we let senseless death continue on when we have the power to change it?
