no one, she's a ghost, she died ages ago, only what was left of her was her spirit, haunting the castle until one day someone comes to 'rescue' her. once shrek opens the door her spirit is free . as soon as she's free she can see the light and that is the rest of the film.

one time i was eating an Auntie Annes soft pretzel (love those) in Dick's and i was on the phone and talked while i was chewing and the person didnt hear me say at when i said "Im eating at dick's"... awkward reply
