I remember our third conversation. I was sitting at the lunch table alone and you came to sit with me. I told you that I had just bought tickets to see Hawthorne Heights in concert, you asked if you could tag along and I bought you a ticket. You seemed excited to go even though my ex-boyfriend and my best friend were going with us. At the concert, you fell for my best friend and I can’t say that I wasn’t jealous. I remember our second conversation. We were at camp where we were playing softball on the same team. You were standing in the back to catch the balls and I was standing near you to dodge them. You were laughing at me because I was trying to run away from the bugs and you asked me if I was having fun. I told you that I was forced to come and I hate softball and you laughed again. You then began to ask me why I even came to East Capitol and I told you my partial story. The look on your face explained everything that night. A ball came flying at me and I almost freaked out until you caught the ball in front of my face. Three strikes. You gave me your famous smile. I was up to bat and I had no clue how to hold a bat. You taught me how and I hit the ball. I never got any strikes throughout that whole game.

I remember our first conversation. We were sitting in issues group the day we met and I could tell you were trying to get to know me. You brought up the subject of music and specifically asked me what type of music I was into. I told you that I was into emo, alternative, and punk-rock and you smiled and said you liked the same type of music.

I remember the first time we met. We were sitting in issues group and I walked in. Mark introduced me to everyone and I remember looking at you because I thought you were so cute. You looked up and smiled and I looked down and blushed. Ricky told me the rules of group and asked me if I had an issue. I said I did and you looked at me straight through my eyes looking for my story of why I was at East Capitol. I looked like a normal innocent girl who couldn’t hurt a soul which was probably your first impression. If you would have looked at my wrists, my whole story would have poured out but sweaters were my daily outfit and you didn’t seem to mind at all. I told the group my issue about my ex-boyfriend and the look you gave me was unexplainable. I could tell you were a little disappointed but boy, I am disappointed that you wouldn’t tell me how you truly felt until you left for the marines.
