Well, he asked me to sneak out again so I kind of just ignored him and he hasn't really tried to talk to me since. I don't really trust him cause I feel like all he wants is to get with me. And that's the second time he has asked me to sneak out. I wish it could've worked
since not many guys would have the confidence to randomly talk to a girl like that and not many of them think I'm as pretty as he did haha. I don't need him though, I've kinda got my eye on another guy anyways who I know would treat me right haha (:

Three kids? Sheesh, that's crazy. All of my classes this year are super small. My Spanish class actually has three people in it, but they have three classes combined into the same time, so there's actually seven of us.. if that makes sense. Lol.

Haha yeah that does make sense don't worry (: And yeah it was super weird, cause before I moved I was in a school with 400 kids in just my grade, and when I moved there, there were less than 140ish kids. In the entire SCHOOL, which was K-12. I literally had like 12 kids in my grade it was insane

Oh my God. One extreme to the other, huh? Where are you going to school now? Either of those schools or a different one? We have 26 or 27 kids in my graduating class. My Calculus class has six people, just like my physics class lol. I also have a writing class that has two people in it (counting me). There were three at the beginning of the year, but the other kid stopped coming to school lol. He started coming again, but the teacher is crazy strict and won't let him back in because he missed an entire research paper and a whole bunch of other important junk.

Yeah haha. I'm back to my old school district, not the same school cause that was middle school, but the same high school that I would've been going to had I stayed. If that makes sense lol. I only went to that other school for a year and then I came back. And hahaha wow that's pretty crazy. Its a private school, right? And do you guys have separate honors and reg classes, or are they combined?

Yeah, that made sense lol. That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. What grade are you in? And no, it's a public school -- my town is just literally that small (and the sad thing is that it's actually TWO towns lol). I live in the middle of nowhere. They're combined, which kind of sucks for me because if we had honors classes, I would be in them, but we don't so I have to go at the pace of everyone else... My calculus class is soo slow. I have the best grades in the class and learn practically nothing, and I'm actually supposed to be in a lower level math class; I don't know how your school works, but at ours, it goes Algebra II, Pre-Calc, then Calc, but I took Algebra II last year, and just skipped Pre-Calc, and am in Calc this year, and I really don't understand how I'm doing better than pretty much the entire class. I should be struggling at least a little...

I'm in 10th grade. And oh wow, that is really small. My school district is combined for two towns too, but it's like huge. We have 4 elementary schools, and 2 upper elementary, middle and high schools, and 800-900 kids that graduate each year between the two high schools.
But damn that must suck; you must feel so restrained having to slow down for everyone else. And yeah our school's math courses are the same. That's good for you though, that you're doing so well, even though that doesn't really make sense, as you said haha. Are you like really excited for college to leave your small town, or do you like it?

I'm in twelfth grade, so I'll be graduating in the spring. I'm not really sure how I feel about that lol. I'm excited to be on my own, but the college I'm going to is only an hour away. I think that after college, I'll probably live somewhere bigger for awhile but I think I'll end up coming back to a smaller town. It depends on how much I like living somewhere bigger I guess lol. And I really do hate that I have to go at their pace, but their pace would be a lot faster if the teacher made us do our work. Gah. It's so annoying. There are days when I'm the only one who even attempted the homework lol. Most days actually...

Yeah that's understandable. Have you lived their all your life? I really want to live in a cute little town when I'm older. Like travel a lot after college if possible, or otherwise live in a big city, and then settle down in a small farm town after I'm married for a few years until my kids are a little older, and then move out to the suburbs again when they're school age or whatever. Idk, That's just me lol, it probs sounds really weird. And yeah I get what you mean.That's one thing I was really thankful for at the small international school I went to - the teachers were all really really good. Even though their teaching styles weren't the best and they didn't give enough homework (yes I'm actually saying that lol, cause they barely gave any and it just wasn't enough), they were really good and helpful and actually cared, like they would be so open to personal teaching and help and stuff. But man, that must be really frustrating for you. What college are you going to? Did you apply like ED or something since you already know you're going there?

No, I moved around a lot when I was a kid. I was actually born in another state, but we've always lived in rural areas. We lived on farms a couple times, and my dad probably would've stayed on a farm if money weren't so tight.
And that doesn't sound weird lol. It actually sounds really close to what I plan on doing, except I think I'm going to raise my kids in a small town setting.
I actually understand how you feel about homework. My physics teacher doesn't give us ANY homework - it's all in-class assignments - and it drives me crazy lol. And my school is kind I half and half with good and bad teachers. There are certain teachers I would never take a class with again (and I only took them in the first place because it was a required class lol), although one of the ones I won't take just kind of creeps me out lol.
I'm planning on going to the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, and I have applied already. I applied in November I think, and I got in within a week lol. I could probably go to a bigger school (actually, I know I could because I applied to the UW-Madison which is the biggest UW and I got in there too - but tuition is twice as much which played a big part in my decision).

So this guy randomly messaged me about a week ago saying he lives near me and saw me walking and thought I was really cute and I should talk to him sometime. I thought it was a little creepy at first but maybe he was just trying to be sweet. So I've been talking to him a little bit but then he started asking me like how far I've gone and if I'd kiss him and stuff and then he asked me to sneak out and I've never met him in person so obviously I'm not gonna sneak out with him. I don't know if I really trust hanging out with him alone yet either considering he's like 2 years older than me and I barely know him and he's been asking me stuff like that. He just asked me to hang out again. How do I say what I'm thinking without hurting him too much? My cousin knows him and she said he's not usually like that and he'd asked her about me and she thought he just wanted to get to know me better cause he thought I was cute. I said maybe she could come with us if we hang out but he just said she didn't like him so she wouldn't want to. Any advice?

Ooooh that's a tough situation. Well I was originally gonna be like no don't go near him he'll probably you lol, but since your cousin knows him and knows he isn't a pedo, that's actually kinda really cute. But I agree that you shouldn't meet him alone, cause that's just totally not safe since you have never met him before. What did your cousin say about him though, like the kind of guy he is? And why does she not like him? Like is he the player type or a jerk, or does she just not like him? I would suggest telling him exactly what you're thinking, cause if anything results from this, honesty would be essential, in even the smallest relationship. Just say your not sure cause you guys have never met before, so you'd be more comfortable in a group setting or something like that, and say that its not personal cause he does seem like a nice guy or whatever. There's nothing wrong with being cautious and safe, and it also would show that you're not one of those easy girls, and that you're not gonna just sneak out when he asks you to, you know? Like I wouldn't say you should play hard to get or whatever, but at the same time, you want him to know you're not just gonna give yourself to him, and especially if he's asking you physical questions about kissing or whatever, you need to make sure that you put across that he's gonna have to work and earn anything he gets from you, and something as simple as making sure you meet in a group first should put that across.

About actually meeting him, atfer you tell him that you'd be more comfortable hanging out with other people too, if you decide to tell him that, I would ask your cousin again to come with you. If she really doesn't want to, try and get another one of your friends to tag alone or something. But just as a precaution and to be safe, I'd make sure someone else knew where you were, like if your cousin wasn't coming, at least text her and let her know where you're going with him, just in case something happens.

I hope that helps at least a little bit!

And haha I skipped a grade, that's why (: I'm turning 15 on January 6th though, so I'm not even a full year younger than most.

My cousin said he liked her at one point and asked her out but she only liked him as a friend so she said no and now he thinks she hates him, even though she really doesn't haha. She said he's cool and a good friend, bur she didn't really go into much detail when I asked haha. I've been trying to get to know him like messaging on Facebook but whenever I try to start a conversation he just asks if I wanna hang out and when I say he can't he says okay and stops replying, it almost seems like he doesn't wanna talk to me yet he wants to hang out all the time? He confuses me haha.

Thank you soo much, I'm thinking of trying to get to know him better messaging him first and if he doesn't wanna get to know each other before hanging out then I'll probably just say I'm not interested or get a friend to hang out with us like you suggested.

Like I don't want to say desperate, but like kinda just wants to get with SOMEONE? If you don't know it's not a big deal, it isn't really relevant anyway, I was just curious. And yeah I get what you mean with the whole Facebook thing. Maybe he's just one of those guys that either just likes things in person or doesn't want to waste his time on something he's not certain will happen, you know what I mean? Like maybe he just thinks that like with all the small talk, in the end you might not be interested or get around to hanging with him at all and it would've been a wasted effort. Which I mean it obviously wouldn't have been cause he'd have gotten to know you, an amazing girl I'm sure, but I mean he is a teenage guy haha. But yeah, I agree, I think you should keep trying to talk to him at least a little bit on Facebook first, and if he doesn't seem eager to talk on there, tell him straight up that you want to get to know him a little more before meeting him in person to make you more comfortable. There's nothing wrong with that, and maybe then he'll talk to you properly.

And haha thanks! I skipped two grades actually, 8th and 9th, and now I'm doing 10th grade for the second time. It's like a really complicated story lol, I didn't get held back or fail 10th grade or anything haha, it's just cause I moved like across the world and then came back, and since all my old classmates were below me now, I didn't want to be TWO grades ahead, so I decided to be a sophomore (they're all freshmen), and I'm just taking some junior classes, like AP Bio and stuff, so I'm not really repeating anything. Oh okay. In that case I would really make sure to get to know him a little, like talk more on Facebook or whatever and later hang out a lot before doing anything with him cause like he is a teenage guy and the fact that he isn't to eager to talk and really just wants to hang out like...you know what I mean? So yeah I'd just be really really sure that you like him and that he actually, truly likes you too before doing anything.
And yeah it was pretty crazy, especially cause they were both two different schooling systems - one was an international school in India, and the other was a normal public school here. Even though the level of difficultness and stuff was more or less kinda the same, the overall systems just made it a really big change. And I mean moving across the world is a pretty drastic change in itself haha. Plus I actually went all by myself and stayed in boarding the first 6 months there, so it was even crazier cause I wasn't with my family. Lol but yeah, senior year will just be all APs and pretty much junior year too. I might end up graduating early from college, if I decide I want to. That's another reason I decided to do tenth grade "again" rather than be a junior - it makes more sense to graduate college early by staying an "extra" year in highschool and save all that money for tuition than rush through highschool, you know?

Yeah I totally get that.
Yeah I do, I was born here in Jersey and lived here until that move, and now I'm back here. And it's a long story, but basically my whole family was gonna move there, but then since its a huge move some stuff got delayed, so they decided to move in the winter. I didn't want to miss that much school since it would already be a huge transition, so I convinced them to let me go alone and stay in boarding, and then when they moved there too, I moved out of boarding and in with them. It actually wasn't too bad, like idk, apparently I adapt to change really well haha. I just cried a lot during that first plane ride (I mean it was a 20 hour journey all on my own) and that was it. It kinda surprised me that I didn't get too homesick and stuff, but I mean I did talk to my parents on the phone almost every day and stuff so yeah.
