its been 12 years since i saw my father last. i remember the day so clearly. i walked down the stairs, a bright sunny morning and i saw my mom crying and daddy in his uniform getting ready to leave to fight for our country. my brother and i hugged each other as daddy left the house. he gave me a note. i finally had the courage to read it today. it said:
"katlynn aria victoria, its 1-12-99 and im leaving to go help others in another country. i love you with all of my heart you are my little angle and i never what you to forget that. if you ever need me you know to send letters, and i promise you i will send one every chance i get, but if one day you stop getting them dont worry im with your twin sister meghan again. i love you katlynn, i will hopefull come home 3-31-00. and if i dont happy birthday baby girl."
