Last night i had a dream about my old best friend who i miss. his name is Haydon. (btw: its my friends around the table)
it was brief: it was the beginning of the new year and were were all at lunch picking new seats. Haydon was at the table and the last available seat was next 2 him. i sat down and we started talking but idk wat about. i think we started fighting and he said something like: "Why did you start avoiding me?" and i said: "Why did you stop talking to me?" and he whispered: "I don't know." and then i started crying
im surprised i didnt wake up crying. i just miss him so much </3

I think my dog thinks he's a lion. All he does is sleep, eat, scratch, and go to the bathroom. When he lays down, he does it like a lion. Just plops down on the floor with a little thud. I don't know where I went wrong raising him. lol my dog has issues(:

Chapter 13: Confessions
When we got back to the Res, I saw Charlotte and Amelia (Nathan’s imprint) waiting for us. When I got off of Jeremiah’s back, Charlotte ran up and hugged me. “Bella I was so worried about you! I can’t believe a vampire is coming after you and another one almost killed you today! At least you don’t have a bite mark.” She said. I frowned when she said that. I had never shown her the scar from James because I didn’t want her to worry. “Charlotte, I do have a bite mark. Not from Laurent, but from James. Those two weeks I was in Tennessee is when he bit me.” I said showing her my wrist. I then explained why Victoria had sent Laurent to see me. After that all the wolves came back, and Jake went to Charlotte’s side and kissed her. I looked away fighting tears because that’s what Seth would’ve done. Quention came up to me and said, “Pretty freaky huh? Having your best friend dating a werewolf?” he asked. “No, I’m fine with it. They obviously…love each other.” It was hard for me to say ‘love.’ “So you know about the imprinting?” he asked. “WHAT?! He imprinted on her?” I screamed. I saw the look on Charlotte’s face. It was a mixture of guilt and fury. “I guess I wasn’t supposed to tell you that.” Quention whispered. “Charlotte, when did this happen?” I asked. “Well, uh, this is a really funny story.” She said as she moved behind Jake. He moved out of the way and phased, then ran off into the woods. “Thanks Jake! It happened the day you were almost crushed by the van. That’s why we weren’t at school. Well I was sick and he left early with my homework. Then he imprinted on me.” She said smiling. I smiled for a second but then had flashbacks of the times Seth took care of me when I was sick. I dropped down to ground and wrapped my arms around myself. I started crying, and Jeremiah tried to figure out a way to comfort me. “What’s wrong with her?” Winston asked. Nathan started telling Winston what was going on. Jeremiah had picked me up and put me on his lap. “Shh. Bella it’s OK. The redhead isn’t going to hurt you. We won’t let her.” He continued rocking me back and forth and rubbing my back. Eventually, he started singing the weird song we wrote when we were little. The rest of the day consisted of racing. At one point, I was on Jer’s back and we were racing Nathan and Jake. We came in first place and I laughed as I saw Jake pouting as a huge gold-ish brown wolf. Later Jer took me to his house and we watched comedy movies. I fell asleep at midnight and Jeremiah carried me home. I heard Taylor L open the door and laugh because I was in Jer’s old sweats as pajamas. They carried me up to my room and I woke up. They kissed my forehead and left. I fell asleep again knowing Victoria was somewhere, hunting me.

Chapter 12: Laurent is Back
I woke up the next morning after I had a dream about the Pierce’s. They were in my forest waiting for me. Seth wanted to apologize and beg me to take him back. It was all so real. I found myself rushing to get ready and running out the door. When I got to the forest it was empty. I checked all the good trees, the tree house, and the underground tunnel I had built for emergencies. Those emergencies consisted of hiding from my family. The place was deserted. I went back to the patch of wildflowers and collapsed. Then I felt a familiar feeling. The feeling of a vampire. I looked up hoping to see Jared, Keith, Leana, Ariel, or even Rachel. Instead, I saw Laurent standing on the other side of the forest. “Hello, Bella. I didn’t think I’d find you here.” He crooned. “W-what are you doing here?” I stammered. “I came here for two reasons. First, to see the Pierce’s, and second, to see if they are still protecting you. The second was a favor to Victoria. She wants to kill you because Seth killed James. She thinks it’s only fair. An eye for an eye, a mate for a mate. Now, why are you in the forest alone?” he asked. I sat there contemplating everything he had just said. Victoria was hunting me, and was going to kill me. “This is my forest.” I said with confidence. “Ah, I see. It seems like the Pierce’s have left. That’s strange that they didn’t take you with them. Do you still see them?” he asked. Suddenly, I saw and heard Seth. “Lie, tell him we come every so often.” He ordered. “Yeah, they come and see me once a month.” I answered. “When I went to the house, there was no trace of them being there.” He said confused. “They don’t go to the house anymore. They just come and see me. They left last week again.” I lied. “I understand. Victoria won’t be happy with me for doing this.” He muttered. "Doing what?!” I demanded. “Killing you. It’s nothing personal, Bella. I just can’t help myself. I haven’t hunted and you smell so appetizing.” He explained. “Threaten him. Tell him we’d kill him if he killed you.” Seth growled. “They would know it was you who killed me. They would kill you in vengeance.” I told him. “But would they care? Honestly, you must not mean that much to them if they left you without protection.” He began. I have protection. I thought to myself. “You should be thanking me. Victoria plans on taking months, even years to slowly kill you. You will only feel a slight pinch if I do it. Take your pick.” I thought it over and came to my decision. I nodded for him to kill me. As he was getting ready I said, “Seth I love you.” Then we heard it. The growling of five huge wolves. Then they came into sight. The russet brown wolf broke from the line and came to stand behind me. “You thought I had no protection, Laurent? You thought wrong.” I whispered. The other four wolves charged after the vampire as Jeremiah wrapped himself around me. When the others were gone, Jer motioned for me to get on his back. With a running start, I climbed up. Then we headed back to the Res.

Chapter 11: Panic Attack
I sat on the ground frozen with fear. I noticed Nathan, the alpha, staring at me. “Go get your four wheeler from Jake’s garage and go home, Bella. I’ll come get you later.” I got up dazed. Instead of heading to Jake’s, I ran into the forest. I climbed up a tree and wrapped my arms around myself. I couldn’t handle all of this at once. First, the love of my life leaves, then I find out my best friend is a werewolf! At that moment, I realized my mistake. I had thought Seth’s name over and over yesterday. I never did that, I didn’t allow myself to do that. I sat on the branch trying to breathe. I started dry heaving. After two minutes of that, I started breathing normally again. “Bella? Where are you?” Jason asked. I’d always liked Jason; he’d always been nice to me. But now I know what he is. “Get down here, Bella. I’m not kidding. Do I have to climb up there and get you?” he asked. “Who do you think you are? My father?” I challenged. He stood there glowering at me, so I finally gave in and climbed down. When I was on the ground, he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. “Put me down! Put me down! I swear I will hit you with a crowbar!” I screamed. I saw a branch within my reach and grabbed it. “Let go of the branch, Bella!” Jason screamed. “I will when you let go of me.” I yelled. He had his hands on my waist trying to pull me off the branch. Eventually, he sighed and just pulled my hands off the branch. I screamed in pain when the branch sliced my palm. Jason finally put me down when we got back to everyone else. Jeremiah saw my hand and lost it. He started screaming and throwing things. After a while, he calmed down and looked at my hand. “Can someone get me a first aid kit?” he whispered. “NO! No first aid kit! You’re going to spray that stuff that stings on my hand! NO!!” I screamed. He just picked me up and sat me in his lap after he sat down. Quention handed Jer the first aid kit. He got out the anesthetic and grabbed my hand. He sprayed my hand and I screamed. “OW! That hurt you jerk face! I’m going to kill you for that.” I threatened. Jeremiah just laughed as he wrapped my hand. “Heard those threats before, Bella. You never follow through with them.” He laughed. I decided to go home after that. When I got into the garage, Nikki and Kristen were waiting for me. “Forget something?” Kristen said, holding up my helmet. “You know that you’re always supposed to wear it when you go riding. You could have been killed! What were you thinking young lady?” she asked. “I thought Jer was in trouble.” I said. “Fine. This time, you’re off the hook.” She said. “But next time you-“ “What happened to your hand?!” Nikki yelled, cutting Kristen off. She ran over to me and grabbed my hand. She noticed when I winced. “Isabella Nicole Fortune, what happened?” she demanded. “I was climbing a tree with Jer and I scraped my hand on a branch.” I answered. I went up to bed and curled into a ball, waiting for the nightmares to come.

Chapter 10: Broken
I had locked myself in my room five days ago. Whenever someone came in my room, I screamed and threw things at them. They finally got the message to leave me alone. Right now, I’m lying on my bed crying my eyes out. I can’t believe Seth left. He told me he loved more than anything yesterday, and today he told me he didn’t want me anymore. I just don’t get it! We were literally made for each other, I’m his singer. He had to do his best not to kill me every day, but stayed with me, saved my life twice, and loved me. “He’s gone. He’s gone.” I whispered over and over. There was a knock at the door. “Go away!!” I screamed, my voice broke. “Bella, please let me come in.” It was Jeremiah in the hall. I looked at myself in the mirror. I was wearing Seth’s old clothes, my hair was a mess, and my face was red with black smudges. I opened the door slowly. I saw Robert sigh in relief at the stairs. He knew I would talk to Jeremiah. Jer had been there since the beginning, he was my best friend. Jer came in and sat on the bed. He opened his arms and I ran into them and cried. He rocked me back and forth and I felt warm tears falling on my head. I looked up and he was crying. “Why…are you…crying?” I asked between sobs. “Because I hate seeing you in this much pain. I knew you would get hurt in the end. That’s what always happens to you. I swear if I ever see him, I’ll-“ I cut him off. “Stop! If he comes back you will do nothing! It would just hurt me more. I still love him, even if he doesn’t love me anymore.” I whimpered. “I’m sorry, Bella. I can’t promise that I won’t talk to him though. I will help you get through this.” He promised. “Starting tomorrow. I need a little more time alone.” He left after that. My family tried to get me to get rid of all of Seth’s clothes, and all my pictures and memories of him, but I refused to cut him out of my life. I knew he would come back, that he still loved me, and that all of this was just temporary. He would come back, and I knew it. I don’t care if my family thinks I’m crazy. The next few hours consisted of crying and movies. The only songs I listened to were “Last Kiss” and “Haunted” by Taylor Swift. I went to bed at three in the morning. When I woke up I ate, got ready, and waited. I would be with Jer today. He had been acting weird lately, and I think I know why. I went to his house early and found a note from his friends. Meet us in Wakefield at eight. Bring Bella if you want, but she has to stay in the house. Charlotte’s boyfriend Jake lives in Wakefield. He’s a werewolf and Jeremiah is hanging out with him. I only know that he’s a werewolf because Seth told me. I ran home and got my four wheeler. I rode to the Reservation. Jeremiah was already there. “I thought we were hanging out today! You know, to make me forget what happened!” I screamed. One of the big ones, I think his name is Winston, growled at me and said to go away. He then pushed me towards the entrance. I turned around and smacked him. He started shaking. I knew what was happening. I ran twenty feet away as he phased. He charged toward me as a russet brown wolf attacked him. I saw the wolf’s blue eyes and knew it was Jeremiah. For the first time in my life, I started to believe that all the fairytales were true.

Chapter 9: The End and the Beginning
At the edge of the trees, I froze. Cayden was screaming again. I broke into a sprint with tears streaming down my face. I stopped when I tripped over something. I looked and it was a stereo playing a tape full of Cayden’s screams. I heard laughter and looked everywhere but couldn’t find the source. Then James was in front of me. “Bella,” he crooned. “I didn’t want to trick you, but it was necessary. But it’s better that your nephew wasn’t involved.” I was frozen, not with fear, but with anger. If I hadn’t fallen for this, Ariel and Jared would be protecting me right now. He had gotten distracted somehow, and I took my chance. I took off running, only to find him in front of me. He slammed his hand into me and I hit a rock head first. I felt something wet on my head. When I brought my hand down, it was coated in blood. I was hoping that Seth had enough common sense to never come after James after he killed me. I knew he had video cameras set up to capture his glory, and to torture Seth and his family with. Knowing I couldn’t move, he went to check the cameras. I dreamed that I could make it out of this. I could hear the words from Jared’s mouth as he gave me a death look. “I told you to never listen to anyone on the phone you didn’t recognize! I guess I’m not surprised you didn’t listen!” I almost smiled at the thought of being yelled at. My moment was interrupted with searing pain. James had broken my leg. In the next second, he was off me. I was in warm arms. “Bella, I’m so sorry. Nothing will ever hurt you again.” Seth promised. He was jumping to a tree when James grabbed him. I got thrown from his arms and into a thorn bush. I rolled out of it groaning in pain. I pulled a piece of wood out of my leg. The gash in my leg was terrible. Seth had been thrown into a tree. The sun was rising now and they both were faintly glittering. James was hovering over me as Seth watched in horror. His sharp, poisonous teeth cut into my left wrist. It was the most painful thing I had ever felt. It didn’t last long, so I must me dead. But I wasn’t because I still felt pain. I was faintly aware of Seth trying to kill James. Ariel was at my side, while Charles was pulling Seth off James. Jared and Keith were killing James. I smelled the fire. I couldn’t understand what was happening. I was only aware of the pain in my wrist fading away. I woke up in the hospital. I don’t remember anything. “Bella! I was so worried about you! Are you alright sweetie?” my Mom asked. “Mom? Yeah, I’m fine. Everything hurts though. What happened?” “The boys were taking you hiking and you tripped and rolled down a hill. You lost a lot of blood. Seth’s dad fixed you up pretty well before you came here.” My mom started crying, and I hated when I saw her cry. When she stopped I asked, “Where’s Seth? And the rest of our families?” “He’s asleep on the couch. He never leaves. Both of the families are in the waiting rooms. They’ll be up in a little while. I’m going to let you rest for a bit.” She kissed my head and left. Seth opened his eyes and looked at me in pain. I tried to get out of the bed to comfort him, but he was there pushing me back down. “Why are you in pain? I’m the one with broken bones.” I cried. “Because this wouldn’t have happened if we would have done things differently. If we wouldn’t have gotten mixed up, we would have had him.” He said in disgust. He smiled and said, “The important thing is that you’re not dead. Just severely bruised. And broken. But you will get better. The only this is that your old bruises are a lot worse and will take a few more years to go away. Jared wants to talk to you now. I’ll be in the cafeteria.” He left as Jared walked in. “You wanted to talk to me?” I said as I put my little girl face on. He still looked like he was going to kill me, so I hid my face in my blankets. “You know you’re in trouble Bella.” He said as he pulled the blankets from my face. “What you did was the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. You’re my little sister now and the thought of you with James killed me.” I’d never seen him in so much pain. “I’m sorry Jared. I didn’t mean to do that to anyone, but he tricked me. He made me think he had Cayden. I can’t let anything happen to him. The day he was born I vowed that I would give my life for him if I had to.” We talked for a while, and I talked with everyone else from my families. I was in the hospital for five days. I finally got to go home and tell me story a thousand times. As I looked into Seth’s eyes while dancing on his toes, I finally saw my new life beginning.

Chapter 8: Running Away to Save a Life
When Keith pulled into the driveway, Jared was getting my things while Keith pulled me from the car. Once inside, Leana took me upstairs to give some of her clothes for the night. This was so the tracker would pick up her scent instead of mine. “Leana,” I began. “Do you think I’ll make it out of this alive?” “Yes, I do. Don’t worry. Nobody is going to hurt you.” She replied with confidence. We made our way downstairs as Seth and Rachel were fighting. “Why should I do something for her? She’s the reason that some of us are going to die!” Rachel screamed. “Rachel, if you can’t do it for Bella, do it for Seth. She is with him now, so she’s a part of our family. And in this family, we protect each other.” Charles scolded. She reluctantly agreed and walked away. Everyone said their goodbyes, but Seth’s was the most painful. It was brief, but heartbreaking. I was sitting on the couch while waiting for our cue to leave. “Bella, I’m going to be driving while Jared is in the backseat with you. He has a better chance of protecting you than I do.” Ariel said. “OK.” I whispered. When it was time to go Jared picked me up and carried me to the car. After an hour I had to go the bathroom. Jared walked me towards the door giving precise instructions to follow. “You and I are brother and sister on our way to our mom’s house. We will get food and drinks for you. Just follow my lead.” As I was picking out junk food, Jared scoffed, “Isabella Nicole Pierce, you can’t just get that, you need something healthy. Do you want Mom to kill me?” I rolled my eyes and got some healthy stuff too. In minutes, we were on the road again. I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I knew, Jared was carrying me inside the cabin. That’s when my nightmare began.
James and Victoria had killed everyone. Rachel, Keith, Eloise, Leana, Charles, and Seth. They were working on Jared and Ariel now. As Victoria was burning them, James walked towards me. ‘As soon as I’m done with you, I’m going back for your friends and family.’ He said. Then, he bit me.
I woke up screaming. It was all so vivid. I continued screaming until I realized that Jared had picked me up. At that moment, Ariel got back from the store. I quickly explained my dream to them. Jared’s hold got tighter as he said, “No one’s going to touch you Bella. We won’t let that happen. Ever.” I nodded dazed. Jared and Ariel needed to hunt, so they went out leaving me with their numbers just in case. My phone started ringing. “Don’t say anything until I tell you. Tomorrow I need you to somehow get away from you friends. Come to the only park in town. If you come alone, no harm will come to your nephew.” I then heard Cayden screaming in the background. “I’ll be there. Trust me.” I said coldly. “Perfect. Until then, Bella.” We went to the store the next day. I went to the bathroom where there was a window. I had asked Jared to come with me for this reason. I climbed out the window and hailed a cab. I threw a handful of money at him and told him to take me to the park. When we stopped, nobody was there. I guess it was under construction or closed for the season. I walked into the trees to save my nephew’s life.

Chapter 7: Baseball
It was seven in the morning when the doorbell rang. I was in very short-shorts, a tank top, and my hair was a mess as I answered the door. “Nice look. It suits you.” I heard a familiar voice say. I actually opened my eyes. “Jeremiah! I haven’t seen you around for a while! How have been?” I asked as I hugged him. “Pretty good. Sorry I haven’t been around much, I’ve been hanging around with a pack of my friends.” He said with a small smile. That statement should have shook me, but I was so ecstatic that he was here. “Well, thanks for making me get out of bed so early. You woke Charlotte up too. She’s pretty ticked now. Thanks.” “My pleasure, as always. You know, you might want to brush through that haystack you call hair.” He joked. I playfully shoved him as he came in. I fixed everyone breakfast and got ready. Jeremiah left five minutes after Charlotte left, and before Seth got there. We were going to play baseball with his family. When I had told my family, all the guys had erupted with laughter as I threw random objects at them. When we got to the clearing, the thunder and lightning had started. If I got rained on, Seth would be in trouble. Two hours into the game, Ariel stopped. Seth was in front of me instantly. He tried leave but his father stopped him. “It’s too late.” He said. “What’s going on Seth? Why is it too late?” I started panicking. Everyone was in front of me, crouched and waiting. I suddenly saw them. Three beautiful figures stepping from the shadows, with our baseball. Seth started growling while his father spoke. “Hello. I haven’t seen you around before.” Charles said. “No, you haven’t. I am Laurent. This is James and Victoria.” The man in the middle said. “I’m Charles. This is my wife Eloise, and our children Keith, Ariel, Seth, Bella, Rachel, Jared, and Leana.” James looked interested at the sound of my name. They were about to leave when the wind picked up. In the blink of an eye, everyone was in front of me. The closest vampire to me was Rachel. This shocked me because she doesn’t like me at all. But she loves Seth, and doesn’t want him to get hurt if I get hurt. “You brought a human?!” Victoria asked. “The girl is with us. She is Seth’s mate.” Eloise hissed. Everything happened so quickly, one minute I was being eyed by thirsty vampires, the next I was on my porch being ordered by Seth. “You better be in the driveway in ten minutes. Or I will come in and get you. Tell them that we are going to show you our house in Tennessee. Jared and Ariel are taking you there while we hunt James down. Please hurry. I love you.” Then he faded into the darkness. I went inside and told my story. My family accepted it and helped me pack for cold weather. The school was being remodeled so we were having a two week break. Everyone was home so I got to tell everyone goodbye. I went outside and got in Keith’s car. Silent tears slid down my cheeks as I rode away from my family, and towards death.

Chapter 6: Sleep Over
The next week had been amazing. Half of the seventh grade girls were still in awe of my relationship with Seth. The other half were still obsessing over him. I would have to do something about that. I had already gotten Amanda to stay away from him. She makes me so mad! She’s so lucky that Seth and I had been at the mall with Jared. Because if it hadn’t been him, I wouldn’t have calmed down, and Amanda would have been in a trashcan unable to get out. She was running her hand up and down Seth’s arms and shoulders. The only thing I got to do was grab a fistful of her hair and yank her back. In the process, Jared had grabbed me while I was screaming my head off at Amanda with threats. Jared had said, and I quote, “You’re not allowed to come to the mall without me anymore. You need someone to be here that can control your emotions so you don’t have another breakdown. Don’t want you to get banned from the mall now do we?” I wanted to be in a bad mood, but Jared insisted that I be in a happy mood. Against my will of course. Anyway, it’s Friday now. Seth and his family are hunting tonight, so Charlotte was sleeping over. We were down in my room dying of laughter as I told her about the incident at the mall (except how Jared controls emotions). “I’m serious! You should have seen her face! And Jared’s! Hers was scared, and his was fuming! It was scary but funny.” I laughed. “I wish I could’ve seen that! I wanted to go to the mall today, but Jake wanted to do something else. I should’ve tried harder.” She sighed. “How is it going with Jacob anyway? Is it still the lovey dovey crap it was a month ago?” I ducked out of the way as she threw pillows at me. “I…knew…it!!!” I said between laughs. “Whatever. How is it going with Seth? I thought you guys were hanging out tonight.” “No, not tonight. He went to his aunt’s house. It’s amazing. I met his family last week. Rachel doesn’t like me, but I did hiss at her-“I started. “You hissed at her?! HOLY CRAP!! Why? What did she do? Chapter 5: Introduction #2
It had been three days since Seth had been welcomed into my family with open arms. I was up a tree thinking about what I was about to do. He would be here any minute to take me to meet his family. I already knew that it would take Jared some time to feel comfortable. And Rachel might never like me at all. I started to climb down the tree and was halfway down when Seth snuck up on me. “Hi, Bella.” He said scaring me. I lost my grip on the tree and fell towards the ground. I was in his warm, protective arms faster than I could blink. “Stupid hybrid, always sneaking up on me. Scaring me half to death in the process.” I muttered. “I heard that, beautiful.” He smiled as I tried to wiggle myself free. We walked toward the limo which was on the outskirts of the woods. I was nervous the entire ride and Seth had trouble making me sit still. When we finally pulled up to his house I ran from the limo. “Bella, you can’t rush towards the house like that,” he said as he grabbed me. “You scared them. Jared had to calm everyone down.” “I’m sorry. I’m just excited.” I sighed. We walked in and they were all waiting for me. Everyone had smiles on their faces. Well, everyone except Rachel. She gradually moved closer to Seth like I was going to hurt him. Obviously someone was overprotective. “Everyone, this is Bella. Bella you know my father. But this is my mother Eloise, my sisters Ariel and Rachel, and my brothers Keith and Jared. And this is the newest member to our family, Leana.” “Hi,” I whispered, but then spoke up. “It’s nice to finally meet all of you. I’ve been bugging Seth about this for a few days.” “I know.” Ariel said brightly. “I saw his every expression. It was hilarious. Hey, don’t give me that look mister.” She said as I hid my laughter. I didn’t do a good job because Rachel gave me a weak hiss and grabbed Seth from my side. My eyes were suddenly black and the hiss I let out was louder, longer, and ten times stronger. Everyone looked shocked except for Keith, who was shaking with laughter. “Oh my God, I’m so sorry Rachel. I didn’t mean for that to slip out.” I whispered shocked. She accepted my apology but still looked mad. Seth gave me a tour of the rest of the house, and after that I played video games with Seth, Keith, and Jared for three hours. Before we left, Seth told me about Leana. “My father didn’t change her. He found her in the process of transformation. Whoever changed her had abandoned her in a dumpster. She doesn’t show much emotion except for smiling and frowning. She only talks when she needs to. She has a very peculiar gift. She does the opposite of Ariel in a way, except she plants her gift in your mind when she uses it.” “Well what does she do?” I asked. “She can show you your past. So if you’re trying to remember something she can show it to you. Sometimes the memories are good, but sometimes they are painful. It’s time to go now.” He said. At eight o’clock the limo came and picked up Seth and me. He was going hunting tonight, but we dropped him off at a random house. This was an amazing day. Besides the fact that Rachel completely hates me. I hope we can be friends one day, but I guess I’ll have to wait and see…unless I ask Ariel. No, I don’t think I will. “I’m going to sleep.” I told everyone when I got home. They all said OK as I walked down to my room. I knew I wouldn’t get much sleep tonight. I wonder if I’d survive the night until tomorrow?

Chapter 4: Introduction #1 and Flashbacks
I was trying to control my breathing as Seth and I walked hand in hand towards my house. He had just admitted his secret to me and now wanted to meet my family. I would meet his in less than a week. I took a deep breath right outside my door. “It’s going to be alright, Bella.” Seth reassured me as he gently rubbed my arm. “You’re right.” I simply said as I opened the door. “Family meeting! Everyone in the living room now!!” I screamed. We sat down in the large green chair while we waited for everyone to come. Once everyone was settled, I began. “Everyone, I would like you to meet Seth, my boyfriend. Seth this is Robert, Taylor L, Taylor S, Kellan, Jackson, Kristen, Nikki, Ashley, and Colton. And this is my mom Amy, my dad Ryan, my brother Zach, his girlfriend Leea, and their baby Cayden.” I waited silently for their reactions. It was silent until all their faces broke into huge smiles. “Welcome to the family Seth!” Kellan shouted. I sighed in relief because they liked him. My dad, brother, and Robert looked pretty ticked, but they want me to be happy this time. We all still remembered my last relationship. As Seth talked with my mother, I remembered everything that happened with Rex as I looked at the fading bruises.
It was September when it all started. My friend Sam had hooked Rex and I up. At first, it was perfect. Then after a few months, things went south. He was mean to my friends, and to me. Eventually it revolved around only me. On my birthday, I didn’t even get a ‘Happy Birthday’ or a hug. In February when I tried to break up with him, I paid for it. We were in my forest when it happened. ‘Rex, I think we need to break up.’ I’d told him. ‘WHAT?!’ he screamed. ‘I’m sorry, but it’s…’ I never got to finish. I was on the ground after a blow to the face. As I was getting up, I felt another painful smack across the face. I was on the ground again and he was kicking me and screaming at the top of his lungs. He would have killed me if Jackson hadn’t been on his way to get me. My arms, legs, back, and stomach were covered in bruises. My face was red from the smacking. Jackson was chasing Rex as the rest of the celebrities showed up. The guys were handling Rex as Taylor S called the police, and I was being comforted in Kristen’s arms. Rex was arrested and I was in the hospital for two days. I had no broken bones, they were just bruised. The bruises were going to take about two years to completely fade. The day I was due in court was one of the best days of my life. Rex and I were officially and legally broken up. He had lost the trial, and would be in jail for three years with probation. I tried my best to keep myself completely covered, but it wasn’t always easy. It was terrible.
I stopped thinking about it when I accidentally touched one of the bruises and cried out in pain. Robert was immediately back with an ice pack. “Time for more painkillers.” Nikki muttered. I sighed and trudged off to the kitchen as I heard Seth laugh quietly. “Bella, my father is here to pick me up,” Seth said. “Thanks for bringing me. It was fun, but you’re going to have to explain why you zoned out on me.” “I will. Someday if you’re lucky.” I told him sarcastically. I walked him outside and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I waved to his father before they drove away. There was no doubt in my mind that I would have dreams about Seth. And nightmares about Rex.

Today was the day. The day I would confront him on what he is. But how would I do it? I guess I’m going to have to ask him come over tonight. The day passed slowly. At the end of the day I jumped at my chance. “Hey Seth? Can I ask you something?” I whispered knowing he could hear. “Of course, Bella. You can ask me anything. You know that.” He smiled. “Well I was wondering if you wanted to hang out this afternoon, in the forest my family owns. If it’s alright with your parents.” “They won’t mind as long as I’m home before eight. Yeah, I’d love to hang out.” “Awesome. Let’s go.” I was blissful that he’d agreed. When we got to the limo, only Jackson was inside. “Hey Jackson,” I began. “This is Seth, the boy who saved me yesterday. He’s going to hang out tonight.” “Oh, right. I forgot you told me about this earlier. Hi, Seth. I’m Jackson Rathbone.” “Hi, Jackson.” Seth said cautiously. I stifled my laughter because he was scared of Jackson. Jackson. The one who would never hurt a fly. When we got to my house we dropped our things off and headed to the woods. When we got there he was looking at my wild flowers while I stood frozen. “Something wrong Bella?” Seth asked, scaring me. “No, it’s just that…” I couldn’t finish. “That what?” he urged. “I know what you are. Your eyes change color week after week. You don’t breathe when near me. You stopped the van with your hand, and got to me at an incredible speed. Your skin is boiling hot. You barley eat at all during lunch too. Lastly, you can hear me when I whisper so low I can barely hear myself.” I finished. “So what do you think I am?” “A vampire-hybrid. Well, am I right?!” I demanded. “Yes, you’re right. It feels so good to have you know my secret now. But I’m not sure if I can control myself.” At that, I reached up on my toes and lightly kissed him on his perfect lips. I felt him pull me closer. I broke free and said, “Now that wasn’t so hard was it?” he smiled at me, “No, it wasn’t. Thank you. Your eyes are so beautiful when they’re gold and when your cheeks are pink.” This caused me to blush deeper, and for him to laugh louder than ever. I joined in his laughter. “What do we do now?” he asked me. I thought for a moment, “Well you could tell me about your family.” “Let’s see, my parents are Charles and Eloise Pierce. My father is a doctor who transformed my mother after she had me. She restores houses that have been falling apart for years. My adopted siblings are Rachel, Keith, Jared, and Ariel. Rachel and Keith are together, and Ariel and Jared are together. I can read minds, except for yours because I’m guessing you have a shield. Ariel can see the future, even mine and other creatures that she’s not. She saw you coming. And Jared can control emotions. Keith is definitely the strongest, and Rachel is the best with mechanics.” He told me. “So, you’re growing at an accelerated rate right?” I asked. “No, I’m an unusual hybrid. I grow and age at the same rate as any human. So I really am four days younger than you, and I am thirteen. I am venomous, and I can create a full vampire. I haven’t though, because when I bite my first human, I stop aging and become a full vampire. I’m saving it for someone special. I can have normal, full human children, except they would stop aging at age eighteen. Pretty freaky, huh?” he laughed. “Wow. So do you want to meet my family or go introduce me to yours? I know they won’t kill me because you feed on animals. I know that because you have gold instead of red specks in your eyes.” I said, showing off a bit. “You sure know a lot about vampires. Then again, you did grow up on the set of a vampire movie, so I expected it.” He paused to smile at me. “I would rather meet your family today. I need to give my family all the details about your visit before you come over.” “OK.” I grinned. We walked out of the forest had in hand, on our way to my house. Where I would introduce them to my new boyfriend.

Chapter 2: Almost at Death’s Door
The next morning I stepped out of the limo fearing his hateful glance. I waited at my locker barley breathing. When he showed up I did my best not to touch him. Suddenly, one of his friends slammed him up against his locker, causing me to jump back in shock. I got the courage to look at his face. He had an angry expression on his face, but his eyes hadn’t turned black. This confused me because he was clearly fuming. Did his black eyes yesterday have nothing to do with anger? Today they were his usual beautiful golden-blue. He saw my shocked expression and immediately composed his face into a smile. It looked like he was trying not to laugh. “Sorry about that.” he said, “Also I apologize for not introducing myself yesterday. I’m Seth Piercefield. You’re Isabella Fortune right?” “Bella actually. Hi, and sorry for hissing at you yesterday. I thought you were angry with me.” He smiled and I blushed. He noticed this and laughed. “What?” I demanded. “Nothing, it’s just that your face is bright red!” This caused him to laugh harder. I could listen to him laugh forever. “We better get to class.” I whispered. We walked to our separate classes, and it’s a good thing we had free time in science because I couldn’t concentrate at all. At the end of the day I got permission to walk across the parking lot to the limo. I was halfway there when I heard it. The ear piercing sound of failed brakes. I looked up and saw a huge van heading my way. The driver had lost control of the vehicle. I looked towards the school when I heard Seth shout “NO!!” his face showing nothing but despair. I closed my eyes waiting for death to come because I couldn’t even move my legs. Then something hit me, but not the right thing. It was warm, no, boiling hot. I heard the crunch of a car door. I was suddenly under the car behind me, and my head hit the pavement. Then the screaming started. “Bella are you hurt? Bella answer me!” Seth shouted. He was pulling me out from under the van. The next five minutes happened so fast that I can’t remember them. The next thing I remember is Kristen telling me that I was in an ambulance on the way to see the doctor. Dr. Charles Pierce? The man who had the beautiful family, and did my surgery last year? I merely nodded, for I was trying to make sense of everything. How did he get to me so fast? How did he stop the van? Why didn’t he breathe when near me? Why was his skin so hot? Why did his eyes change color? Could Seth really be a…? No! Stop thinking like this! Vampires do not exist. At least they aren’t supposed to. Could all the stories be true? I would figure this out later. When I saw my doctor’s beautiful face, I was brought back to reality. There was nothing wrong with my head; I just had to take some pain killers. That night before going to sleep, I decided I would question him tomorrow in study hall. I would just have to wait for my answers before jumping to conclusions. I wonder if I would be able to sleep tonight…

Chapter 1: First Day
It was my first day of seventh grade when this all started. I knew who one of my locker neighbors was, but not the other. But I had a feeling I knew who it was. After first period I was at my locker when he first showed up. Seth Pierce, the cutest boy in school. He looks like an angel, not a flaw anywhere. Blonde hair, five foot seven, golden blue eyes, and absolutely perfect. When I stood up our arms brushed, and I flinched away from the burning touch. Did he have a fever? Was his skin always like this? When I looked at him, he was glaring at me with a look filled with hate. It looked like he was trying not to breathe. I noticed that his beautiful blue eyes were turning black. Blacker than mine do. Did his eyes turn black when he was furious? I thought mine only did that. Did he really hate me because out arms touched? I felt my eyes plummet to darkness, and a hiss escaped my lips (you learn a lot on the set of a vampire movie). My hand instantly shot up to my mouth as I saw his stunned expression. I grabbed my stuff and ran to science. Did I really just growl at Seth? I thought. Great. Now he thinks I’m a freak. Freaking perfect! I had next and fifth period with him, too. When my family picked me up in the limo (yes, limo), I ran faster than I ever have, “In a hurry Bella?” Kellan laughed at me. “Just want to get home.” I sighed. We didn’t have any homework so I grabbed some books and headed to the forest my family owns. I climbed to my favorite tree, and got lost in the world of books. When I was almost done with my last book, my phone rang. It scared me so much that I screamed at the top of my lungs and almost fell out of the tree. Robert was going to die. “WHAT?!” I screamed. “Jeez, calm down,” Robert said, “you’re late. You were supposed to be home an hour ago.” Crap, I thought. “I’m on my way. You know me, got lost in the books.” I laughed at myself. After I hung up, I began walking. I was already dreading the next day. It’s going to be a long year, I thought.

I am close to the entire cast, especially Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed, Ashley Green, Taylor Swift, who is dating Taylor Lautner, and Colton Dixon, a former contestant on American Idol. I am a singer known across the country. I have auburn hair that is down to the middle of my back. My eyes range in color from hazel, sky blue, royal blue, gold, and black. My family lives in a mansion that is in the middle of the neighborhood, and takes up half of it. I never knew this would happen, but it did.
