at my school we have 2 teams a spirit team and a competitive and i do both we work our butts off to memorize our routines just like any other sport does for their plays. it take a lot of skill to be a cheerleader try it for a day with a good coach that is willing to push you. it's not as easy as it looks. and our teams have like no they're the nicest gurls ik its where i got most of my friends from reply

I'm a competition cheerleader and a basketball cheerleader. and not to get hate, but if you hate on it, then lets see you do a standing back tuck. or get thrown in the air. or throw someone in the air. reply

im on cheerleading & i agree it is a sport. our school has our coaches pick us, not the cheerleaders, but im sure that if the cheerleaders picked who made it, it would be horrible. reply

at m school all teh cheerleaders are , but thats because the head cheerleader is a huge bitcha dn she odviously picked all her friends to be ont eh squad, but ik ppl from other school who are cheerleaders adn they r nicee :)
and i think it isssss a sport because if it requires physical work and stuff it is. they have practice, just like soccer and football adn every other sport. it doesnt look easyy reply

If cheerleading was easy, it'd be called football. And btw I'm not even a cheerleader this year, I was a footbally cheerleader last year. But all the basketball,wrestling,and football cheerleaders at my school are some of the nicest, kindest, most innocent and sweet people I know. Honestly, the guys aren't turning around and watching the cheerleaders during a foot ball game, they are facing the field and the scoreboard. reply
