    chapter 2
It was the end of last period and it felt like the longest five minutes of my life. I caught Jake staring at me a couple of times which made a million questions run through my head. The bell finally rang while Mrs. Sandler was in the middle of talking and everyone shot out of their seats.
I was looking for Molly and I found her talking to our group of friends. Or i should say her group of friends. I'm not really close to any of them and I met them through her.
"Bella, those shorts are so old fashion looking, buy some new ones." one of Molly's close friends said.
"Um, ok?" Some of her friends can be really rude.
I looked down and noticed all of them were wearing the same flipflops and all I was wearing was basic black sneakers. I could tell they were looking at my feet funny. It made me feel uncomfortable.
I walked back home after the lacrosse party with Molly who lives across the street from me and we both packed for summer camp which we were leaving for Monday. It's a camp where you can walk around with your friends and go swimming and just have fun. Allison was coming with us and I'm okay with that because she's the nicest friend in the group.
I got into the kitchen and saw that my mom was sitting at the kitchen table like she was waiting to talk to me.
    "Mom?"
"Sit down honey, we need to talk."
    "Okay, whats wrong?"
She sighed. "I got a call from your school today and they said that you definitely have to go to summer school."
"I know that already mom, only for a few weeks though."
"Yes, but those few weeks start this Monday...."
At that point I knew exactly what that meant. I knew there was a chance this could happen but I wouldnt think the school would do this considering so many middle schoolers go to this summer camp.
I ran up to my bedroom not saying a word to my mother. I slammed my door shut in anger. How could the school do this? This is so unfair. I called Molly and told her everything. She didn't sound as dissapointed as I was, which got me wondering if she even wanted me to go. It caused us a huge fight so I hung up. But now I wish i didnt.
    One week later.
I woke up on the first Thursday of the summer, my fourth day of summer school. I got dressed and came downstairs, but I found police officers and my mom in the kitchen. She was sitting at the table just like last week so I knew something bad happened.
My mom was crying so I got worried.
    "Mo-mom? What's going on?"
She hugged me. "I'm so sorry honey."
    "Why? What happened?"
    Now my heart was pounding.
"We got a call from your summer camp today, saying some one drowned in the lake."
I stood there, thinking about who it might be.
    "Who mom? Who?"
    "It was Molly."
I dropped to the floor. At first I couldn't believe it. I was so in shock that I didn't even cry. It felt like a race car going 600 miles per hour just hit me right in the chest. Then the tears came, more like a waterfall. And at that moment, I knew my life was over.

    chapter 1
Beep Beep! Beep Beep! Beep Beep!
It was Thursday morning, the last day of school. My eyes were half open half shut. I banged my alarm clock with my palm until it finally shut off. I was so comfortable in my bed I didn't want to get up, but I finally did when my mom yelled that we were leaving in 20 minutes for school.
I threw on my favorite pair of jean shorts and a cute blowse from hollister. My hair looked like I had just come home from the 80's, so it took me about the rest of the time I had to straighten it which meant i had no time for breakfast. That didn't matter. I need to loose weight anyways.
I grabbed my backpack and jumped into the car already texting a mile a minute.
"Who are you texting this early, Isabella?"
"Molly," I said in a stubborn way.
I hate when my parents ask who I'm texting. Why is it their busniss?
My mother calls me Isabella, and I hate it. All my friends call me Bella because they said Isabella was pretty lame. Molly was the only one who liked it. She's my best friend and also the reason why I have so many friends. She's my idol and I couldnt live without her.
"Hey Bella!" Molly said as Iwas throwing my books in my locker realizing I didn't finish my homework.
"Hey Moll" I replied in a less exciting way.
"You reasy for summer camp?!" She exclaimed.
I smiled, which was half fake. "I guess so," I said.
She frowned. "Why don't you seem excited? We look forard to this every year, even on the first day of school!"
"I know I know, it's just I might need to do a few weeks of summer school because I havn't completed all of my assignme-"
But before I could finish, Allison was already talking to Molly who I could tell felt bad for not listening to me.
"Hey Molly! Hi bella." She said from high to low.
I smiled, fake once again. "Hey Allie."
"Molly!Your hair looks great today!" she said.
She was right, I didn't realize how good it looked until I really observed it. Molly had the thickest blondest hair you'll ever see and the brightest blue eyes. I always was a little jealous of her. She also had the tinyest waist and developed before any of our friends.
Me on the other hand had thin, black hair with the worst split ends. But I must admit, My green eyes were pretty deep. Though I think i need to loose some weight and grow a bigger chest. I mean I'm going to be a freshman next year, which means HIGHSCHOOL.
"Oh my gosh it's Jake it's Jake stay cool guys stay cool." Allison exclaimed.
Jake Brown, full name Jacob Brown, was the cutest most popular guy in eighth grade that every girl wanted.
"He's coming this way!" Molly yelled.
I couldn't help but stare at him when he walked by. He looked and smiled at me and I could feel my heart racing 30 miles per hour.
"Bella! He just smiled at you! Molly, he's walking to the cafe. Let's go get something to eat! Bella, come with?"
"No thanks, I need to go to the library and finish my homework. I don't want to waste my whole summer in school," I joked.
"Cant you just finish it after school? Some teachers let you do that." said Molly.
"I can't we have our team party for lacrosse after school silly. And on the last day? No way!"
    "Oh yeah! I forgot."
"Come on Molly let's go boys eat fast!" Allison exclaimed.
And when they walked away, I started walking to the library.

    Confession #608
I'm bisexual and I've been dating a guy for two weeks. The thing is, I don't even like the guy. I hate that I said yes to him because now I'll feel like crap if I break up with him, because he likes me so much. I'm in love with a girl and she likes me, too. The girl is my boyfriend's best friend.
