Chapter 2
I was ready for my one & only sweet 16. Finally the day I'd been waiting for, ever since I was like 5.
Now, It was time to go pick up Madeline. Everything was going as planned & it was going to turn out good.
As I was on the way to Madelines house, by myself, When Jonah popped into my mind again. Jeez. Why cant i get him off my freakin' mind.
I groaned to no one impeticular. & there I was, In Madelines driveway. I saw Josh, her brother standing at the door, calling Madeline. He looked pretty dressed up maybe he was coming too. After all, I had invited him.
Madeline walked out, & Wow, she looked gorgeous. Her curly red hair, had been straightened pencial straight.
As I had expected, Josh & Madeline both got in the car. Madeline in the front & Josh, in the back seat. I didnt car that Josh went, I was actually excited, I mean, he wasnt ugly. If you know what I mean.
"Wow, Kendal, you look...Amazing!" Madeline told me.
"So do you, but thanks! I'm so excited!!!" I said enthusiasticly.
"Oh, & Josh, You clean up nice yourself" I looked back & Josh, & as I said that he blushed. He was one year older than Madeline & I, & I have had a teeny crush on him since like forever.
I had my GPS installed in my car cause I had noooo idea how to get to this "country club" 45 minutes away.
The "lady" told me to get on Hwy 65 & take a sharp left and 2 rights & the switch to Hwy 70 & take 4 lefts & 2 rights on Howard St. & I was Frazzled. We tried remembering everything the 'lady said' & we ended up in some town called Biscuit.
I stopped in the middle of the road to look at my map, & found the way, & Then, & there is when it happened.
I looked up & a bright red mustang going about 80 mph was coming straight towards my black BMW. I swerved out of the way, but it was to late. The mustang hit me head on. My car flipped & flipped & finally landed right side up.
I was in bad pain. Everything hurt, from head to neck, to back, to legs, to toes. I tried turning around to take a look at Josh & Madeline but It was no use. My neck hurt way to much.
"Jo-osh? M-Madeline?" I whimpered.
I pleaded for someone to answer. For someone to drive by & call an ambulance. I longed for my mom & dad...or just somebody.
There was still no answer from the back seat or beside me. I stayed perfectly still just in case anything was broken.
Finally a large white car came by. It slammed on it brakes beside my totaled BMW. A maybe 20-25 year old guy, really hansome stepped out & ran to my car.
My window was down so, he could easily get to me.
Soon, I felt a warm liquid running down my face. Great. Im bleeding.
"Honey, Im calling an ambulance. Everythings gonna be alright." The man told me.
I looked at him greatfully. He was my lifesaver. If he wasnt here, we'd probably be dead soon.
"Thank you. thank you. thank you" I cried. Tears were running down my face by then & the man was on the phone with 911.
Again he reasurred me that everything was gonna be ok, & we were all gonna live. The ambulances got there, & by then, the pain was killing me in my upper back & neck. & my legs. I had to of broke something.
& this was how I spent my 16th birthday.

chapter 2
I awoke when strange men dressed in white were lifting me onto some long rolling yellow bed.
I looked down to see if I was still naked, & sure enough I was, but someone had covered me with a blanket.
My head ached & I had some plastic uncomfertable thing around my neck. I think it was a neck brace, cause We learned in school, that if you hit your head really hard , your neck could fracture or break.
I moaned softly, & tried talking.
"H-CAAAHHAAK" I choaked
3 of the men dressed in white ran over to me.
"Don't talk, sweetie. You have a tube down your throat helping you breath." One of then said.
I looked at him helplessly. I looked over & there was my mom and dad.
Of course, my mom was in tears. & my dad looked worried.
Seconds later they loaded me up into the flashing ambulance & took me to a hospital.
Great. Another trip to the hospital. I was suppose to be in school. Liam was probably so worried. He was one of the few people who actually cared about me.
Liam. I needed to talk to him.
When I was wheeled into the lobby of the ER. about 8 nurses were there waiting for me.
The tubes were taken out of my throat, but the neck brace continued to sit on my neck.
I moaned. My head & back still really really hurt.
"I want Liam. Call Liam" I told no one out loud.
I saw the nurses & docters confused faces.
"Whos Liam" I heard one say.
Seconds later I heard them talking to my mom, She replied saying he was my boyfriend & that she would call him right away.
I moaned some more. Again I saw nurses worried & confused faces.

the offical chapter 1!
I awoke to "Baby" by The one and only Justin Bieber on the morning of June 24th, the 7th anniversery of my accident.
I lay there for a minute until my mom comes in.
It has become a known that I absolutly cannot get myself out of the bed. So, My mom swings my legs over the side of the bed & lifts me and gently sets me into my wheelchair beside my bed. I felt really bad for her cause I weighed 125 pounds & I definitely dont think It was an easy task for her & my dad every morning.I thanked her like I did every morning & made my way to the bathroom.
I lifted up one side of my wheelchair so I could get through the door. It wasnt working for me very well, but with my medical bills my parents just couldnt afford to buy a bigger house or re-do the one we have now.
I sighed as I turned the water to cold. After the accident, the nurses made it mandentory that I learn to bathe myself. Cause, there was no way in the world I was making my mother bathe me. I undressed myself in my wheelchair, feeling the smooth but rough fabric on my bare skin.
As soon as I was undress I grabbed onto the railing we had installed in the shower & plopped myself down on my shower chair. I lathered up my hair with my shampoo & conditioner & rinsed my soft copper hair under the water. After my hair & body were clean & very wet, I turned the shower off & pulled on my white towel in the corner of the small bathroom. But it wouldnt budge. I felt panic. If my mom or dad had to help me I would almost die. I slid up in my shower chair, & reached out to get my towel. It was hung on a nail or something.I jerked once & thats when It happend.
I fell forward, my shower chair fell onto of me, & my head hit the wall of the shower. I groaned in pain. I slowly & painfully looked at the clock.
7:50. Crap. School started at 8:00. My mom is probably already left for work. { my dad takes me to school } .
Screaming for my dad was my only choice. He should have heard the bang, but maybe he had his earbuds in..I dont know,
but I screamed for him.
"DAAAAAAAAAD. HEEELLLLPPP" I screamed loudly.
Nothing. Lets try again then.
"DAAAAAAAD! HURRY! COME QUIIICCKK!" I yelled louder.
Finally, something. Footsteps running up the stairs was all I could hear. & then I heard Dad.
"Anna?! Are you in there? Whats wrong baby?" he said quickly
I was so realived but so frightened. It was my 'daaad' I didnt want "him" to see me 'naked' .But I mean it was my only choice. So Anyways..
"Um..Yea, dad, its me. Umm...I kinda fell" I said in pain.
I really was in pain. That shower chair was hard & heavy. & it fell on me pretty hard.
"Anna, Honey, Im coming in. Do you have your towel."
I fell silenced for a minute.
"No...I fell while getting it...but come on in." I said still in alot of pain. It was all coming from my head & my back. I hit my head when I fell, maybe that was it. I dont see how it would affect my bakc though. Oh well, I was getting help, even though it was my dad. Lord, help me.
As my dad walked in I instantly knew somthing was wrong. The worried & frightened look on his face made everything go black.

{ new format! }
Me & Madeline went home that afternoon still confused about how Jonah had acted. He had never acted like that before, not around anyone. Its like he was still in love with me.
When I got home, & said hey to my mom & went up to my room to get ready for my party. It was going to be at the country club only about 45 minutes away. Madeline was riding with me! & I was super excited! I grinned with excitment as I pulled out my curling iron & MAC makeup pallete. As I always did before a party, I took my usual 50 minute shower. After that I barrel curled my long blonde hair in spirals & dolled myself up with my MAC makeup palette & I couldnt be any happier. After all that was through, I slipped on my white & hot pink chiffon mini dress. I smiled ear to ear with glee. Finally after all those years of waiting to have a sweet 16 had finally paid off. Nothing could make me upset or sad at this very moment. It was until we were on our way to the party was when It took a dark twist.

But back to me. I have blue eyes, copper hair,
fair skin & I have a 4.8 grade point average.
But theres one thing you probably would never have guessed about me.
I'm paralyzed from the waist down. I was pronouced legally handicapped when I was 7 & fored to sit in a horrid wheelchair for my entire life

Chapter 1
I'm Kendal Thompson. 16 year old girl. Sophmore at J.Shore High School. My best friend is Madeline. Shes 15, so Im her driver. :) I actually enjoy it. Its kinda fun having her around all the time, being best friends && all.
* story begins *
I walked through the halls of J.Shore High School, on the 16th of July, my birthday. I was smiling ear to ear right beside my best friend when Jonah walked up. My Ex.
I groaned. "Hey, gorgeous" Jonah said trying to get as close as he could to be.
Madeline pulled my arm trying to get me to leave but I just stared into Jonah evil eyes & said "Jonah, leave me alone. You broke up with me, dont you dare come near me again." & with that Madeline & I walked to our lockers, got our books, & went to first period.
Madeline was telling me about some weird dream she had the night before, & I was just spaced out into my own little world thinking about Jonah.
"Madeline?" I asked.
She looked at me with a confused look on her face like ' why didnt you let me finish ' look.
"What?"
" Do you think Jonah still likes me? I wondered aloud
So many things raced through my mind about Jonah. Madeline always had the right thing to say & sure enough she did.
" No way, hes just preverted, Kendal. You know him, loves every girl in the entire school. It'll blow over with him & he wont even care about you anymore." She said
Madeline sure felt confident about it. & I was glad. I trusted her, & I knew she knew what she was talking about.
Sometimes I just dont know what to think. I mean it was my birthday, & I was gonna have a good one.

Hey Guys. I wanna write a story on here.(:
I have a few ideas soo, here it goes.
Idea 1: Its about a girl named Kendal who just turned 16 and is having a birthday party, but on her way there, her & her best friend is in a major car accident. Entirely totaled the car. Can Kendal & her best friend live through the night?
Idea 2: A girl named Arianna. But Is called Anna.
When she was 7, she lost all feeling in her legs & was pronouced legally paralyzed forever. She & her parents had a lot to deal with. Annas wheelchair couldnt fit through parts of the house, her mom getting her in & out places. Now Anna was 14 & it was even harder. The challenges her & her parents face, what will ever happen to Arianna's family?
