Life Uneasy
Part 1
"Seven, only seven fish in this giant fish tank!" Sylvana exclaimed as we waited for Trish, Erin, and Brittany. We stood in the front entrance of Erin's amazing mansion. A look to the right and you find yourself staring at a massive fish tank. Tatiana pulled out of her thoughts and turned to face her friend. "Yeah, it's a big tank but those fish are also abnormally big." It was true, one fish was about as long as Tatiana herself. If you stood the fish upwards. Tatiana was about 5' tall and had long dark brown hair. She had a nice tan thanks to her trip to Florida last fall, and had deep brown eyes, and had just recently turned 16. Sylvana was similar, she had an awesome tan as well, but her dark brown hair reached halfway down her back and she had just recently got blonde highlights. Sylvana also had beautiful emerald eyes. She was definatly someone to envy, though she would never agree with Tatiana at any cost. "Still, you'd think they would have at least 15." Sylvana mumbled under her breath. "Hey guys! Sorry to keep you waiting. Trish here decided her bikini wasn't good enough so she had to search my closet." Erin explained rolling her eyes at Trish while running down her stairs. "You know how I am with swimming. And that bathing suit is old." Trish said wrinkling her nose. "You just got it three weeks ago!" Brittany shouted, and we all burst into laughter. It took us five minutes to recover before we were actually able to tell that it was time to go. "Alright, alright. Let's head over how 'bout?" Erin said still half laughing. We all made our way out the door after Erin shouted her plans to her parents. Who of course didn't care, her parents were the type to let her do whatever. Erin's house was only a couple blocks to the community pool and so they all decided to walk. "Hey, are you okay Tat?" Brittany asked examining me as we walked. Tat was my nickname, along with Tati. "What? Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking." I replied giving her a reassuring smile. That seemed to have done the trick. That's when i remembered my iPod touch in my pocket. I took it out and slipped in one head phone so I could listening to music but still know what everyone was talking about. We reached the pool and headed into the changing rooms. "Wait everyone has their bathing suits on already right?" Erin asked everyone stepping in front of us all. Their was a chorus of yeses, when Erin looked at me. She noticed the head phone. "What are you listening to?" she questioned smiling while pulling out the headphones plug so it would play it out loud and everyone could hear it. "Oh my gosh! I love this song!" everyone seemed to say at the same time. We all laughed and entered the out door pool singing Dinosaur by Kesha. I love Kesha, she always put me in a better mood. I saw people's heads turn to look at us, but they smiled once they saw it was our group. We were what you'd say the popular group in our school, along with the guys of course. We found our spot at the back corner and started to apply sunscreen on each other. I put the head phones cord back in and started listening to my music on shuffle. After a couple songs everyone was done and were starting to head down to the shallow end to get use to the water. As i stood up to walk with the others one of my favorite songs turned on. It was a really good song but it always made me very sad. It was a song the drummer of my favorite band published three days before he died. Every time I listened to this song when i was alone i would cry. He was the greatest drummer of all time. I had pictures and all their posters up on my wall. It was said by all my friends that I was Avenged Sevenfold's biggest fan. One of my presents for my birthday was from Erin and she hired a professional painter to paint 'Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan' on my wall. It was probably the greatest presents ever. As I listened to the song Fiction by The Rev (aka the drummer for Avenged Sevenfold) I walked towards the pool. I was staring at the pavement when i bumped into someone. "Oh sorry Slyv..." I started to apologize when i found out it wasn't Sylvana. "No it's okay it's my fault." he apologized looking into my eyes. "Hey, are you alright?" Am I alright? You didn't hurt me. I gasped, as I realized why he had asked. My hand shot up to my face, and I found out with dread that I had tears in my eyes from the song. "No, no, no. I'm fine." I started, he didn't look convinced. "Really I am, it's just...ugh. Never mind, trust me I'm fine." I said reassuringly, he still didn't look too convinced but he shrugged it off. He just stood there, hold the top of my arm still from when he had caught me to keep me from falling. "Um...so you're a life guard here?" i asked trying to change the subject. He smiled at last and let go of my arm, "Yeah, I finally got the job this year because now I'm old enough. 16 and up is the limit. But I should go, I'll talk to you later." He said reaching for my phone in my hand. He quickly punched in his phone number and left.
