I left about two years ago, and I came yesterday. It was like this big grand city when I left, and now that I'm back it still resembles that city, but only a few people remain.

I had a friend that I used to be very close with, but she started saying things behind my back and to my face. She doesn't really do it anymore. Although I have forgiven her, I don't really talk to her anymore. I don't want to risk the past repeating itself. I found friends who don't do that. That is probably why she won't talk to you anymore. Someday you'll get the chance to totally start over with new people, like when you go high school or college.

I am a Christian, too. But my church teaches us that homosexuality is okay. About two years ago we amended the rules of Presbyterianism so that gay people can be ordained as elders, deacons, and pastors within the Presbyterian church. I love it because it shows that they are people just like you and me.
Although I disagree with you, I totally respect that your church is clearly different than mine. I understand where your beliefs on this issue are coming from. However, IF (and I am not wishing this upon you and saying it will happen) in the future one of your children does end up being gay, love them anyway. You don't have to love that they are gay, but support them. There is nothing worse than having your parent hate you for something that you can't control. Being gay is not easy because they constantly and unfairly bullied. They need to come home and know that someone loves them unconditionally no matter who they romantically love.

"I'm a !" "Talk to me!" Why would someone want to talk to and be friends with someone who is just going to be a and talk behind their back and then NOT apologize? Think about it. Like, REALLY think about it. Maybe you should stop talking behind your "friends'" backs. Maybe then people would talk to youl

My friend's mom had to have an abortion because the baby wasn't healthy. She AND the baby would have died during birth if she had carried through with the pregnancy. What do you say to cases like this? However, in most cases I would agree with you. If you don't want the baby give it up for adoption because there is someone out there who can't have kids, but wants them. I only support abortion in extreme cases, like if the baby is severely unhealthy or if someone was .

Do you think that all religious people hate gays? I am very religious and my church embraces gay people. We allow them to be ordained just as any straight person could.

I agree that this quote is horrible and I disagree with it wholeheartedly, but God would not want you to think this way about the person who made it. He would want you spread His love and pray for those who need Him :)

Um, no, they were always gay. They either didn't realize it or didn't want to acknowledge it. My friend's parents are divorced because her father is gay. He didn't just decide one day, "Hey I'm gay." No, he always knew, but was ashamed of it, so he married a woman and had kids. However, he eventually realized that there was nothing to be ashamed of and now they are actually a happier family because they are all being themselves. Her parents, although not in love and divorced, are good friends.
