Chapter 2
I locked my BMW convertible, and patted her lovingly. I grabbed the Victoria's Secret bags from the top of my car, and skipped into the house. I ran upstairs, kicking off my heels. Maria, my housekeeper would get them later. I quickly opened my bottom-most drawer, and slid in the normal bras I had gotten from aerie. They weren't lacy, skimpy, or push-up. They just did their job. I had snuck into aerie while Caitlyn was doing her make-up, and shoved my purchases in the victoria's secret bag. No one could know that I didn't wear all of those skimpy bras. I pulled out the skimpy ones that Caitlyn had made me get and put them in my top drawer. I went out of my room to see my Mom, and I tip-toed in to give her a hug. Mom worked really hard, but she still found time to hang out with me. My Mom was asleep, so I gave her a light hug, but then stopped short when I saw the papers she had been filling out.
I couldn't believe it. This was supposed to be a perfect family.
The divorce papers sitting on her desk made me want to break down into tears. This is not what the queen bee should be acting like.
