    Chapter 11
I woke up in the pale yellow room on the light blue bed laying down next to Marissa. The sun was shining on the bed and I checked the time; 7:53. I gently woke up Marissa and told her that we had to get on the road so we could make it to camp on time. She agreed and we checked out of the hotel room. We hit the road and then I heard a familiar sound, Marissa's cell phone was ringing. She picked up her iPhone and answered it. I could hear a loud voice crying from the other side of the phone. Then I felt my phone ring and vibrate. I answered the phone, it was Logan. He told me between sobs that Kirsten only had today to live. She was on life support in the San Diego Hospital. When I looked over at Marissa she told me that it was Olivia who had called her and that we needed to go to the hospital to say our goodbyes. We sped all the way home and when we finally arrived Marissa had fell asleep from crying so hard. I hated to see her in pain. There wasn't any light in her eyes and she just didn't look the same. We stepped into the hospital and asked the girl in the front desk which room Kirsten Lowing was in, she responded with a worried face and said "B-567." We raced to the elevator and found the floor and room she was in. Marissa rushed to her side and sobbed into Kirsten's hospital bed. I walked in and stood by her side, next to Logan and I talked to him a while. He was crying and I was too. None of us wanted Kirsten to die. She meant so much to everyone. She was sweet, loving, caring, and talented. When the time everyone was there, including Kirsten's parents, they took Kirsten off of life support and we watched her as she flew to heaven in the form of an angel. We all were depressed and we just wanted her back. It would be a long time before things were back to normal again...

    Chapter 10
We had finally hit the highway when Marissa first said something the whole car ride. "Drew... I'm scared, Kirsten might be in stage 3 breast cancer. What if she doesn't make it? She's my best friend. I don't know what I would do without her..." I could hear Marissa's voice start to break and her eyes swelled with tears. I just pulled over the car and held Marissa close. I made her feel safe, we sat there on the side of the road for a couple minutes until she was okay. I asked her if she wanted to just stop in Nevada tonight. She agreed and I locked my eyes on the road trying to focus on my driving and not the beautiful girl sitting next to me. Marissa had eventually fell asleep leaning against the side of the car, so I turned on the radio and quietly listened to Hits 1. When Marissa had finally woke up she started to ask where she was, and then her memory jogged back up and she looked over at me and smiled. She looked like she was going to cry. So I pulled out my phone and dialed Logans number and he picked up on the first ring. He said that he was sitting in the hospital waiting room and that Kirstens cancer was spreading rapidly and the doctors were doing everything that they could. I quietly whispered to him that Marissa was really shook up by all of this and Logan sounded like he was about to cry. I told him that I had to go and he said "Alright, bye Drew. See you sometime" I told Marissa what was going on with Kirsten when we reached the hotel in Nevada. I picked out a nice hotel to stay at and Marissa and I checked in and got our room key. When we unlocked the door we put our bags in and she changed into some shorts. After I told her what happened with Kirsten she had mentioned that she was cold. So I took off my hoodie and grabbed some sweat pants from my bag. She thanked me and then went to the bathroom to change. When she had came back we layed down in peace and eventually fell asleep to the sound of each others heartbeats....

    Chapter 9
When I got home Varsity, Mocha, and Samantha were sitting in the living room watching some Cailliou. I ran through the door and jumped on the couch and told them all to meet in my room in their pajamas in ten minutes. They all ran to their rooms and slipped on their nightgowns, and blankies. When we were all in my room we piled onto the bed and talked about everything going on in our lives, Samantha talked about how her and Zach, she was so excited to see him
tomorrow. Mocha talked about how she had made friends with a boy in her art class, and Varsity talked about how she was worried about making new friends since she and Mocha weren't in the same class. I told them all about Marissa and how much I liked her and they listened with open ears. Then they all said things about Marissa. Varsity said "Marissa's so pretty! and nice! When we played house it felt like she was my big sister! You two should get married!" Mocha added that "Marissa already feels like a part of our family! She likes to play barbies and she cooks really yummy food!" and then Samantha finally said "Marissa seemed to get me when she came in and talked to me, I was about to cry. She sat on the side of my bed like you do, Drew and she just told me that I looked absolutley beautiful. So I told her about Zach and she said that he would like me for who I am not how I looked, she was so supportive. I know this sounds stupid. But I do want her to stay around for a LONG time!" I told the girls that I want Marissa to be around forever, too and told them that I should probably get some sleep. So we said our good nights and drifted off to sleep...
I woke up bright and early at 7 A.M. that Sunday morning. I grabbed my bag of packed clothes that Marissa helped me pick out. I decided that I would go make breakfast for my sisters, so I went into the kitchen and pulled an assortment of foods from the shelves and made bacon, omelets, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy. Then I went to get the girls up. I jumped on the bed and picked them all up and put the twins on my back and carried Samantha to the kitchen. They were all laughing away and I set them down to the table and before I left to get Marissa I kissed them all on the foreheads and gave them a big hug. I yelled to my parents that I was leaving and they came out to hug me. When I got in my car I looked to the house and my family was standing in the doorway smiling at me. I waved as I drove down Crestline Ave. to pick up Marissa. When I got to Marissa's house she was standing outside of her house crying. I stopped the car halfway past her house and jumped out to ask her what happened. I looked into her eyes and asked "Marissa. What happened? Are you okay?" She looked at me with tears running down her face and between sobs she said "Kirsten... she, she, she's in the... the hospital" I stared at Marissa in amazement and asked her if she wanted to go see her. Marissa just shook her head and said no, she wanted to get to camp and get her mind off of things. I agreed and helped her into the car. When we got in the car I saw that she was wearing my jacket and she looked beautiful, even if there were tears running down her face.

    Chapter 8
We stepped out of the door after she said goodbye to her father and her mom took a couple pictures. I whispered to her "You look absolutely beautiful, babe." She blushed and I opened the door for her. She stepped in the car and sat down. When I got in the car I decided to start it and get on the road to Kirsten's house. She lived about 30 minutes away. I was getting prepared to start driving when she looked at me with a smile on her face and leaned close to me. When we locked eyes I slowly leaned forward and kissed her and she kissed back. We sat there for a minute then we recollected ourselves and started to Kirsten's house. When we got to the party Kirsten's family had decorated the house with pink and white balloons and white streamers were hung every where. Marissa and I walked through the oak tall doors and we were greeted by our friends who asked us questions about the photos we posted on facebook and thats when we told them that we were going out. Lauren freaked out and started to hug Marissa, she said to her "See! I knew he liked you!" I blushed and took Marissa's hand as we walked to the back yard. There was a big section covered in cement where tons of people were dancing, and there was a section with a fireplace where people were cooking weenies and roasting marshmellows. It looked like lots of fun, and Marissa and I went to talk to some kids we saw at the park the other day and some people came up and asked us if we were dating and I answered them by saying "Lets just say, Marissa is mine. You can't have her!" Marissa smiled and ruffled my hair. She was so beautiful. I don't understand how girls can think that they're not beautiful. Marissa had this goddess-like face. And locks of hair that anyone would die for. I just knew from the second I laid eyes on her, that we would be together forever. As I was zoning out thinking about her, she tapped my arm and we walked to the dance floor and slow danced to 'Two is better then one' and I never wanted to let her go. We danced so perfectly together and when the party ended I drove her home and told her that I'd see her tomorrow morning at 9, to leave on our roadtrip. She said goodbye and left. I felt like the luckiest guy in the world.

    Chapter 7
After the park Marissa went home to get ready for Kirsten's party, when I dropped her off at her house she leaned over the seat and kissed me for about 10 seconds. She giggled and then said "Pick me up tonight around 6:30?" I agreed and when she closed the door I drove off. Marissa Renae Lepley is mine. I felt like the happiest guy in the world and I sped home to get ready for the party. When I was all ready I went in to talk to Samantha about her boy troubles, I slightly knocked on the door and said "Hey Sammy, you in there, girl?" She yelled "Come in, Andy!" Samantha was the only one who could call me Andy. I sat down on the side of her bed and asked her how things with Zach were going. She told me that he was being kind of off and on but he told her that he was excited to see her that Sunday. Then i remembered that I couldn't drive Samantha to the movies since I was leaving for band camp. When I told her she seemed sad but she said that mom could probably take them. I agreed and told her that when I got home from Kirsten's party that her and I could have a sibling night in my room. She smiled and agreed. She promised me that she would tell Mocha and Varsity about sibling night. I kissed her forehead and headed out the door. When I pulled up to Marissa's house I took a deep breath and walked up to the door. Marissa's mom answered and hugged me saying "You must be Drew! I've heard so much about you! I'm Linda, Marissa's mom!" I hugged her back and asked her about her day. She told me it went well and that Marissa was in her room finishing getting ready. I took a seat on the couch next to Marissa's dad. I introduced myself to him and talked to him about football and my grades. Then Marissa walked out of her room looking beautiful as ever...

    Chapter 6
When I woke up it was around 7 and Marissa was still laying in my arms under the blankets, I slowly got up without trying to wake her. I decided to let her sleep in since it was Saturday morning. I went into the kitchen and talked to my mom, she told me that she had walked into my room and saw that Marissa and I were asleep and she had called Marissas mom and explained to her. My mom said that Mrs. Lepley agreed delightfully and that she was just like Marissa. I nodded and went back into my room and layed down with Marissa again. I slowly drifted back into sleep and cuddled closer to Marissa to keep her warm. When we had both finally woke up it was around 10 A.M. Marissa shook me until I woke up. She was smiling and her hair was all messed up, she still looked great though. We sat up and she looked me in the eyes and said "I had a lot of fun last night, Drew." I looked at her and replied "Me too, Marissa. You're so sweet, My family loves you." She started to smile and then she looked down at herself and said "oh wow, I look like a mess. do you have anything I could wear?" I looked at her and said "i think I can find something that'll fit you, skinny girl." She smiled and we got up. I rummaged through my dresser drawers and found a pair of sweat pants and a tee shirt. she slipped into the bathroom and came out in my clothes, she had wiped all of her make-up off and she had put her hair up in a bun. She looked more beautiful then ever. I told her "You look beautiful, Marissa." and she smiled and said "You're an amazing liar!" And she ran to me and tackled me onto the bed. I laughed and tickled her and we both ended up on the floor with red faces from laughing so hard. After we calmed down I looked at her, and she looked at me with her golden eyes. I leaned in and we kissed. We kissed for a while, then I stopped and looked at her and muttered a couple simple words... "Marissa, will you be my girlfriend?" She jumped up and hugged me while saying yes, she was so excited. She hugged me and we kissed again. Then we walked out of my room holding hands. She looked at my mom and said a simple "Hey Amy! Thanks for calling my mom! and letting em spend the night!" My mom yelled back "Anything for you Marissa!" and then as me and Marissa were walking to the back yard we passed by the living room where my dad was sitting and she ran up to him and said "Hey Mr. Markley!! Good morning! Thanks for everything!" My dad smiled and greeted her and said "anytime Marissa! Then she whispered something into his ear. Then my dad looked up at me and said "Good job on the new girlfriend, Drew!" and he winked at me. Marissa giggled and darted up and grabbed my hand. We walked into Mocha and Varsitys room and we helped them get ready to go to the park, and Marissa went in to get Samantha and ask her if she could borrow some shorts, Samantha handed her a pair of denim shorts and they got ready together. We all met in the living room and my parents took the kids to the park and Marissa and I drove to the park in my car, we stopped at wal-mart and bought some toys for the girls. Marissa was happy to be with me and we made our way to the park after we checked out. While we were at the park I pushed Marissa on the swings and we slid down the slide together. It was perfect.

    Chapter 5
Marissa, Varsity, Mocha, and Samantha came running down the hallway when Marissa told them that she had to help me with something now and they sighed and agreed and thanked her for playing with them she replied bubbly "Oh anytime girls! Heres my number, just call me whenever you need someone to talk to or play with!" She handed the number to Samantha and they all ran into Samantha's room. Marissa walked up to me and told me how much fun she had and told me that she absolutely loved my family. Then we heard the front door open and my dad walked in. He saw Marissa standing there and asked me who she was and then Marissa took over saying "Oh hi Mr. Markley! My name's Marissa Lepley and I came over to help Drew figure out what to wear to a party this Saturday and I ended up playing house with your daughters! They are too sweet!" My dad lightened up and replied "Oh, well welcome to our home! It's nice to have such a delightful attitude around! You seem so nice! Do you need anything?" Marissa politely declined and she went into the kitchen to ask my mom if she needed help with dinner. My mom asked her to cut up some tomatoes so she did. Back in the living room my dad told me that Marissa seemed sweet and nice and very bubbly. I replied with a yeah, she's pretty cool and we sat down on the couch and turned on some football. In the middle of the game Marissa came up to us and told us dinner was ready and we said "Oh thanks! We're on our way!" Marissa walked down the hallway and told the girls it was time for dinner and they came running to the table. My mom insisted that Marissa sit down, and I helped my mom bring out the food. We ate while my parents and Marissa conversed about Illinois, and Marissas family, and her interests. Marissa said that she loved to dance and that she had 3 older brothers and a younger brother too. I said that thats why she loved to play with the girls and she smiled. After dinner my sisters and I cleared the table while Marissa and my mom chatted over coffee. After dinner the rest of my family went out to the park and left me and Marissa alone in the house. We walked into my room and turned the light off. We layed down and watched T.V. for about 45 minutes until she finally fell asleep on my chest. I smiled at her, she looked so beautiful in my arms. I slowly drifted into sleep too. The last thing I could remember is Marissas heavy breathing on my chest...

    Chapter 4
After band I walked Marissa to Yearbook and then I walked down the hallway to communications. During lunch we sat apart from everyone else and talked about how much fun band camp was going to be. I told her that I would drive us up there and that I would pick her up Sunday morning, she agreed and we went on to talking about the party. I asked her "So about Kirsten's party... This is going to sound stupid but... What do you think I should wear?" She simply giggled and answered "Well how about I come home with you today and I'll help you go through your closet and help you pick something out?" I nodded and said a simple "That'd be great! Thanks Marissa! You're the best!" She smiled at took a sip of her water and we moved onto talk about something else. When I got back to class James asked me what me and Marissa talked about so I told him the plans we made and he grinned and told me I was lucky. At the final bell I half-ran to my locker and grabbed my bag then I walked behind Marissa and hugged her around the waist. She was scared at first but then i picked her up and she was like "Drew! Put me down!!" She was laughing and smiling. Everyone was looking at us but who cares. After I put her down she adjusted her hair and grabbed an outfit from her locker and said she'd be right back and went into the bathroom. When she came out she was wearing a pair of jeans and a blue top with a green necklace. She looked like she belonged in a magazine. She asked me if I was ready to go and I agreed and we walked out of the school. Everyone looked at us as I held open the door for her, she just smiled and laughed. When I got in the car she was still smiling and she looked beautiful. As we pulled up to my house she looked impressed. I lived in a 5 bedroom, 6.5 bath, home, and it was in a really nice neighborhood. As we walked up the walkway she complimented me on the house and I thanked her and sighed right before I opened the door. When I walked through the door my mom came running from the kitchen yelling "Andy! You're home!" but she stopped mid-way. She was surprised to see a girl there. She smiled and said "Hello! Andy, who's your friend?" Marissa answered and said "Oh Hi Mrs. Markley! I'm Marissa! It's nice to meet you!" My mom was delighted by Marissa's kindness and she came up and shook her hand. My mom answered "Oh, Well Marissa you can call me Amy! Do you need a drink or anything?" Marissa went on to say "No! I'm fine! You're house is beautiful, I must say! Your entry is divine!" My mom blushed and thanked her, I butted in saying "Mom, Marissas gonna help me decide what to wear to a party, ok? We'll be in my room!" My mom approved and went on with her gardening. As we walked down the hallway Marissa was busy looking around. We walked past Varsity and Mocha's room and they ran out to see who was there. Marissa talked to them for a couple minutes and they invited her to play house with them but she said "Maybe after I help your brother with something, okay sweethearts?" They smiled and agreed. When we passed by Samantha's room she came out and said Hi but she just went back to her computer. Marissa and I finally reached the end of the hallway and we walked into my room. My room was light blue and had white bookshelves covering one wall with a T.V. in the center of it all. There were lots of windows and lights. A desk was in the corner with a laptop sitting on top of it. The bed was against a wall that was covered with pictures of my sisters and I, and me and my mom, pictures from football, baseball, and soccer. She nodded and took a seat on the couch against another one of the walls. I showed her my closet and she helped me go through it and we finally decided on an outfit, it was Khaki Shorts, a white v-neck, and a blue plaid shirt. She showed me how to pair some of my clothes together and it helped a lot. She helped me pack for band camp and then we turned on the T.V. and sat on the couch watching Hannah Montana together. She asked "Why were you watching hannah montana, drew?" I told her "Oh my sisters and I were watching it in here one night when there was a tornado and they couldn't sleep in their room alone." She smiled and told me "Awh thats so sweet. I would be glad to have an older brother like you!" After a couple minutes of Hannah Montana she spotted my guitar sitting against my bed. She hopped up and grabbed it and told me that I had to play something for her. So I started to sing her a song that I had wrote a couple days ago while I was playing the tune. The song was called Smile and if was about Marissa. After I finished playing she smiled and said "Drew! That was amazing!!! You're really good!" I thanked her and then I grabbed my laptop and sat on my bed. She came over and sat next to me and watched as I clicked on the webcam. We took a bunch of pictures and she uploaded them to her facebook. She made one of them her profile picture and a bunch of her friends were commenting "Oh Marissa, is that your new bf??" and "Too cute!" She tagged me in them and then I grabbed the computer from her and closed it and put it back on the desk. She told me that she would be right back and I agreed and she walked out the door. It had ben about 10 minutes and I had heard giggling from Samanthas room so I went in there to find Marissa and Samantha sitting by Samanthas vanity and Marissa was painting Sammys nails. They smiled at me and told me they were having girl time. Then Samantha came up to me and told me that she really liked Marissa. I smiled and went to talk to my mom. I was talking to my mom and she asked me if Marissa had wanted to stay for dinner so I yelled down the hallway asking her and she skipped out of the room and hugged my mom saying "Oh my gosh Amy I'd love too!!" My mom hugged her back and smiled. Then Marissa ran down the hallway back to her game of house with Samantha, Mocha, and Varsity. My mom whispered to me "Drew, she's really something. I like her a lot. She's so free and fun-loving. Are you two dating?" I told her "No.. Not yet..." And smiled. She giggled and I helped her set the table....

    Part 3
I woke up on Tuesday morning and I put on my school uniform, brushed my teeth, and combed my hair. I went downstairs and made some fresh pancakes and orange juice for my sisters since my parents already left for work and I watched them as they ate and talked to them about doing good at school and being nice and they agreed. Then we all piled into my car and I drove them to school. Samantha look absolutely stunning today, she dressed up for her new boy, Zach and she was shaking in her seat. I took her hand and told her that it was going to be alright and that she had nothing to worry about. She smiled and said "Andy, he's just so nice and sweet. I want him to like me and if he doesn't then I don't think I'll be okay ever again." I replied "Sammy, He'll like you for you. Don't try to impress him. He's probably just as scared as you. Just be yourself. You look beautiful!" She hugged me and hopped out of the car and skipped into the school. Samantha was only 13 but she was so mature for her age. I then drove the twins to the kindergarten building and walked them into the school. They hugged me and went to talk to their friends. Then I headed to my school and parked in the school parking lot and put my car in the closest parking spot I could find. When I walked into the school I stopped by the boys locker room and talked to the coach about football and he said that he'd love to have me on the team. I walked out of the locker room and went to talk to Garrett and he high-fived me and told our other friends. Logan smiled and congratulated me but then he walked over to Kirsten and talked to her. James had said something about him being in love with her. Garrett was dating Mikayla, and James and Lauren had a thing. Since we all had history together we all walked into the class and sat down by the book shelf. Garrett was whispering to me and said "Dude, Marissa's totally into you. She told me that she wants you to ask her to the party. Go for it dude, shes totally cool!" I smiled and told him "Dude when I first saw her, I was like Dang shes pretty hot, And shes nice! I'm totally gonna do that!" We bro-hugged and rushed to our seats when the bell rang. When I sat down to Marissa she smiled at me and we talked to each other for a couple minutes. Then Mr. Browning walked in and told us to work on our project, so we worked for a while and then the bell rang and I rushed to band. In band we played Whisper and we tried to harmonize our instruments together. Mrs. Gogurt told us that two of the band members were going to get to go to band camp next week and miss school. The class was whispering and laughing and Mrs. Gogurt then said that she was going to draw names right now and those two would be the ones who get to go. As Mrs. Gogurt reached her hand in the hat everyone crossed their fingers and wished that it was them. When she read off the first name it was Marissa Lepley. Then Marissa kaughed and cheered. She was so excited. Then Mrs. Gogurt read off the second; "Andrew Markley!" I jumped and Marissa smiled and all of her friends giggled and Garrett winked at me. I was so happy, Marissa and I would be driving to Minnesota for band camp in less then three days. Alone. This is how I knew that Marissa and I were meant to be.
After band Marissa came up to me and told me how excited she was that we would be going to Band Camp together! I hugged her and she blushed and ran to her friends to brag to them. Marissa was so adorable when she smiled. She lit up the hallway. I couldn't wait to make her mine...

    Chapter 2
After school that day it started to rain and Marissa exclaimed "Oh my gosh! It's raining and I have to walk home! Ughh!" So I chimed in "Hey Marissa, I can give you a ride home. I've got my car here, I mean if you want..." And she thankfully replied "Oh thank you drew! You're so sweet! You're a life saver!" I just smiled and grabbed my book bag and led her to my brand new Black Lexcus, my parents bought it for me to make the pain of moving a little easier, she gasped and said "Thats a really nice car!" And I said thanks and opened the passenger door for her. She smiled and sat down. I walked around the car and opened the door and sat down so I could start the car. Marissa was shivering so I slipped off my jacket and gave it to her and told her "You look cold, put this on" she blushed and slipped it on and she looked even more beautiful with it on. When I asked her where she lived she told me her address and we drove and talked for about 20 minutes to her house and she tried to give me back my jacket but I told her she could give it to me some other time. She smiled, and said thanks, and then she kissed my cheek and walked out of the car. I couldn't stop smiling all night. When I got home my parents asked me how my day went and I just replied. "It was great. I think I'm going to really like Independence Prep." My parents smiled and told me to finish my homework and come down to eat dinner. I was really starting to fit in. I walked up to my new room and passed by my twin sisters room and they came up and hugged me and I yelled to them "Hey girls! How was your first day of school?" And they answered "Andy it was so much fun! We played and made new friends! We got invited to a party and we're so excited!" I replied excitedly " Aww Mocha! Varsity! That's great! I'm so happy for you!" They giggled and went back to their game of barbies and I stepped into my other sister, Samanthas room and she was sitting on her bed watching some show and I asked her how her day went and she came over to me and told me that she met a really cute boy and that he had asked her to hang out and she was having him come over Sunday afternoon. She asked me if I could drive them to the movies and I said "Of course baby sis!" And she smiled and hugged me and I told her all about Marissa, and she was like. You and her should come to the movies with me and Zach!" So I was like "Umm Sammy, I dont think that would work out well! Haha, but thanks anyways, girl!" Samantha smiled and shook it off then went back to her T.V. and i checked my phone and Marissa had texted me asking if I wanted to hang out Friday night so I replied
"Yeah! Sounds great!:) I'll pick you up at 7?:)" and she quickly texted back saying
"Yes! Alright! Time for homework! See you tomorrow! XOXOX <3"
I texted back "Bye!:)" and I went downstairs to eat dinner and serve some desert to my sisters and helped them clean their rooms while listening to Hannah Montana. It made them Smile every time I sang along to Nobodys Perfect. And after I finished cleaning I went into my room, turned on m music, and fell asleep waiting to see Marissa again...

    Chapter 1
I stepped out of my car onto the gray, dull, sidewalk on that Monday morning. I looked up at my new school: Independence Prep. I walked up the brick walkway leading up to the tall, towering, school. As I stepped through the glass double doors, I looked down the shiny, clean, cream colored hallways that were lined with bright red lockers, and after about five minutes of looking, I finally spotted my locker: D176. I quietly put in my combination and filled my locker with my books and binders. Then I grabbed my schedule and found my first class; Advanced History. I grabbed a pencil, notebook, and my history book, and I made my way down the hallway to the class room. The class room was a wood-paneled room with light brown oak desks lined up in rows. I took a seat in the middle of the classroom next to a group of excited girls talking about what they were going to wear to an upcoming party, I listened in on their conversation quietly, trying to figure out what the were saying. Out of nowhere I heard the bell ring to mark the starting of class. When everyone heard the bell they rushed to their seats before the teacher walked in. He was wearing a dark brown blazer with some khaki slacks. He wrote his name on the board "Mr. Browning" He introduced himself to the class and he told us our first assignment; it was to pair up in partners, and write a paper about a person in Americas history that inspired you. Everyone was excited until he told the class that he would be picking the partners, since I was new at the school, I was thankful that someone would have to work with me. He started to call out the names James and Lauren, Kirsten and Olivia, Garrett and Makayla, and finally Marissa and Andrew. Everyone looked around the class, and finally spotted me. Mr. Browning then said, "Oh Hi Andrew! I forgot to introduce you to the class! Go ahead and tell us some things about you!" So I reluctantly started "Well I'm Andrew but you can call me Drew or Andy or whatever. I love to play a bunch of sports, I play the guitar, I'm from Kempton, Illinois. Its really small it has like 230 people in it. And I had three little sisters." A bunch of the girls started to giggle and look at me. Then Mr .Browning said "We're happy to have you here Andrew!" For the first time today I thought it was going to be a good year, Mr. Browning said for everyone to get in their partners and start to do research. So Marissa came up to me and I could feel my palms start to sweat and my jaw dropped. She was absolutely beautiful. She had dark brown curly hair, golden brown eyes, and golden skin. She was wearing her red and white school uniform, and she looked perfect in it. She introduced herself in a bubbly voice " Hi Andrew! I'm Marissa! Its nice to meet you!" She had a welcoming smile on her face showing off her perfect teeth. So I quickly stuttered back "Hey Marissa! Its nice to meet you too!" And with that we started our project getting on the computer and looking up famous Americans and we decided on Thomas Edison because we wouldn't be able to see in the dark if it weren't for him! When Mr. Browning said to start getting back to your seats since class was over Marissa asked for my number and we exchanged numbers and promised to text each other some time. When the bell rang the class walked out the door into the bright hallway. I walked behind the big group of girls, which Marissa was talking to about me, I listened a little closer as all of the girls were talking about how cute I was and Marissa assured them all that I was hers, so they all giggled and separated skipping to their lockers. As I put in my combination a group of guys came up to me and introduced themselves as Garrett, James, Luke, and Logan. I recognized a couple of them from history. They seemed pretty cool and friendly so I grabbed my stuff for Band and walked with them to Band. They all played the saxophone just like me, it was like we were meant to be friends. They told me that they all played on the football team and they were wondering if I wanted to try out, so of course i was like "Of course, dude!" so they said "Cool! Come to the boys locker room after school and we'll talk to you about it some more!" I agreed and opened the door to the band room. It was a really nice room lined with brass instruments of all kinds. The teacher was named Mrs.Gogurt, she seemed pretty nice and told me that I sat next to the other saxophones; which were the ones who offered me to try out for the football team. I took a seat at the end next to James and I saw out of the corner of my eye that Marissa played the flute, she looked over at me and smiled. "She's so beautiful" I thought to myself. Mrs.Gogurt handed out music sheets that had the notes for a song called "Whisper" everyone started marking the song and people were complimenting me on my sax playing. It was actually a lot of fun. After class Mrs.Gogurt told me to just put my sax in the band lockers for and gave me the key to one. When I was walking back to my locker I passed by some girls who all came up to me and asked me questions about Illinois, and I told them that I owned a guitar shop there and they all blushed and asked me to sing them a song so I told them that I'd sing some other time since I had to get to my next class. After about 45 minutes in Advanced Communications it was time for lunch so I walked into the cafeteria and grabbed a piece of pizza and some milk and looked for a place to sit. A big group of guys and girls called me over and I took a seat in the middle of Garrett and Lauren. When Marissa walked into the lunchroom she saw me and asked Lauren to scoot over so she could sit by me, we all talked about how our Summers went and everyone asked me about Illinois and how I liked Independence Prep and I answered that everyone here was friendly and I was having a great day so far. Then they asked me if I wanted to go to Kirstens 15th Birthday party this Saturday and I said "Yeah I'd love too!" And Kirsten giggled and blushed a little. Kirsten was very pretty but I still had my eyes set on Marissa.

    Hey girls,
So me and my girlfriend just got in a huge fight, ending with a break-up. And I really need someone to talk too. She was my life. And I loved her more than life itself. But she cheated on me, and won't take me back. We had the best moments ever, and apparently I wasn't good enough. I missed my baseball game and track meet today because I've been laying in bed. I've cried about 5 times for like an hour. And I miss her so much.
Can you guys talk to me? I just feel lonely, and I want her back
    </3
