LONE SOLDIER

"WAKE UP!"
*Splash*
I jolt up and shake my head like some kind of dog,"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!"I yell out.
"We're late!"
After a few seconds of confusion my eyes widened,"Oh crap!" I get up so quickly I went blind for a couple seconds,"I need to get..." I look down and see that I'm in a black long sleeve shirt rolled up, black cargo shorts and my black high tops. My necklace in safe inside my shirt,"Oh...well then. I better not get pregnant."
Lily chuckled and tugged on my arm,"Yeah you of all people."
We race into the elevator. Before the doors close I see Bynx,"Bye Bynx see in a bit. And remember, your name was never, never is, and will never be Williaaaam!"
Lily punches my shoulder,"Shut it! What if someday you do that and he overhears and leaves me?"
I wave off the question,"Whatever lets gooo!"
After the death ride in the elevator we run into Robby's lab where the rest of the group was waiting. Lily runs over to Will and I roll my eyes and walk over to Jackson.
"Hey Stevieboy."
"What. No short jokes, Jackieboy?" I retorted.
He chuckles amused,"It seems like you're in a bad mood already. Plus since we're going on this mission, I don't wanna start on the wrong foot if you know what I mean."
I nodded,"Yeah considering we're the only ones that know how to survive on our own."
"Oh obviously. Did you hear that Will dude?"
I smirk,"Yeah he's no experience."
"yupp."
I look around the room and I dont spot my crazy science teacher,"Where's Robby?"
Jackson shrugs,"Pfft. Hell I don't know, five?"
"Five answers all."
He nods,"Don't forget 'this'"
"Oh yeah."
"Alright. While we're waiting let me introduce you to someone," he turns to the group of six soldiers scattered around the room,"Izzy! Here now!"
A girl wearing a black t-shirt, dark baggy jeans, and black and orange high tops stands up and walks over to us. I saw that she was limping but brushed off the detail. She was fully loaded; pistol in her left hand, two knives sheathed at her sagging belt and along with the knives these tiny tablets with different colors on them,"Waddupp? Izzy. You are?"
"Steven. Leader of the mission,"Jackson answers. He smiles and pats Izzy so hard on the back that she almost falls forward,"This girl right here is the best of every soldier we have. If you were surrounded in an attack, you would want her have your back."
Izzy gives a crooked crazy smile and her gray eyes sparked like lightening,"Yeah. I heard you're a good fighter. Let's see if you can keep up."
I laugh,"What you've heard is completely true. We'll see who needs to keep up, shall we."
"We shall. Now 'nuff with the small talk. Let point out the crew," she points to a tall guy older than me by about a year with spikey blonde hair and glasses,"That's Austin. He's our strategy guy. If there's a hive of feite we need to get through, he's our guy."
Next she points to three triplets,"Those freshmen are our crazy explosive crew. Names are Cassy, Zak, and Brooke. They can make a bomb out of absolutely anything."
Finally, she points to a guy not older than the age of 15. He was apart from the other soldiers and was playing with an old coin,"That little dude is Red. He likes to be called by his last name, Heartnett. He's a new kid that did something that caught Jackson's eye and since then he's been on the team."
"What did he do?" I asked curious and Heartnett looked up and quickly back down to the coin.
"I don't know. All I know is that he's special. I can feel it. This kids got skill."
We hear Lily laughing hysterically and Izzy sees Will,"Who's the stiff?"
I laugh,"That's Will. He apparently knows alot about 'survival stuff'"
Izzy shakes her head,"He has no idea."
"Nope! Not a clue."
"Oh well. It's his funeral, literally."
I chuckle,"yeah."
We hear Prof. Robby fumbling toward the lab, cursing every time he stumbles.
Izzy and I smile,"Here he comes." I say.
"Gadget tiiiiime!"
