She squints at the white light? Am I dead? She thinks to herself. Lily looks around the room. She's in a pure white hospital room filled with beautiful flowers from friends and family. Friends, she thought, Are they dead? Lily sits up and fixes her blonde bangs but fails to get it the way she likes it. Then she froze, Steven...no..
She gets up and gets dressed then walks over to the bathroom to wash her face. When she sees herself in the mirror there are only bruises and small cuts. Lily's so confused, But..the satillite exploded.. she thought. Then she felt a sharp pain on her chest and stomach so she pulls up her shirt. She finds the side of her stomach is burned,"Ouch.." Lily smiles but a tear falls. She flashes back to an image of Steven appearing in the transmitter and it exploding. She closes her eyes tight, trying to get the image out of her mind.
Then the door opens and Zak, Brooke, and Heartnett walk in smiling. "Heyy!" Zak says with a big smile.
"You're not dead!" Lily shouts happlily.
"Oh yeah. After the curification Heartnett called for the paramedics. A week after they found Zak still passed out behind the machine. That's what protected him from the blast, right Heartnett?" Brooke says nudging Heartnett who smiles and pats Zak on the back.
Zak sticks his tongue out,"Oh shut up, you two love birds lived too."
Brooke blushes and kisses Heartnett,"Hey Heartnett's my baby. He saved me."
Heartnett nobs and hugs Brooke from behind.
They start laughing then Lily realizes something,"Hey what about the others? Izzy? Will? Steven? Austin? Jackson? Cassy?"
"Izzy's in intensive care. She lost her arm and leg while fighting. You can go visit her but she won't talk to anyone. She's as silent as Heartnett."
"Thats silent considering he's mute." Lily says.
"Yeah. Will got out of h hospital a few weeks ago. Said he needed totake care of simethings. Austin's at work right now checking all patients. Jackson was found a few city blocks down from where he left us. Dead. Cassy. Dead. And Steven...dead..."
Lily's jaw dropped,"What..? She couldn't believe it. Steven? Night? He never dies. Then the flashback came back. Steven smiling at her as the bright light flashed. He was in the transmitter when it exploded.
Zak sighed and nodded,"Yeah. They looked for his body but what was left was ashes, his sword, and that jacket that protected you from the blast,"he looks at the black jacket laying at the foot of my bed,"Steven musta thought mighty highly of you to give you his jacket knowing that he wud die without it."
"Shut up Zak,"Brooke scolded,"She's gone through a rough time," she turns to Lily,"Lily..I'm sorry. The burial is in three hours. You should probably go to Izzy."
The doctors lead Lily to Izzy's room and warn her that Izzy is very unstable so shed be careful. Lily agreeded and walked into to Izzy's room. Once Izzy spotted Lily she tried to sit up but fell to the side. Lily catches her and sits her up,"Thanks kid. I'm in the need of Steven's bionic limbs," then her face went blank and a tear fell,"It's all my fault people are dead.."
Lily hugged her tightly,"It's not your fault. Don't you dare think that way.You are a hero. Everyone, dead or alive is. Look I wish Steven was here too. I miss him so much it hurts."
"Yeah. Yanno as much as we fought cuz we were so different, I havto say, you're the only person I'm willing to talk to." she smiles.
Lily smiles with her,"That's why your being mute heartnett right now?"
Izzy nods then begins to chuckle,"Heartnett's not mute though."
She laughs,"What? No way."
"Yeah. He just hates talking cuz his voice is funny."
"How so?"
Then a reeeeally deep voice spoke,"It's sounds like this."
Lily turns to see Heartnett smiling. Izzy bursts out laugh that she falls to the ground and isn't able to get back up,"LIFE ALERT! I HAVE FALLEN AND CAN"T GET UP! Seriously." she calls out wiggling on the floor. Lily and Heartnett helps her up.
"Okay. Come on guys we havto go to the funeral now." Heartnett says sighing. We nod and follow him.
At the funeral a huge statue of Steven and Bynx made from their ashes and Black Carbon Iron. Flowers were placed all around the memorial. His epipath was written from the last page of his journal: The world saw me as a criminal, rebel, traitor...I began to beieve it as well...until one day someone showed me that I am no such criminal...she reminded me that tomorrow was a new day...to make a change in this world...to show them that I am a...hero...she said that I never seize to amaze her...but really...She never seized to amaze me...I love her...
Seeing that. Those words in writing. They meant more to her than anything anyone could ever say to her face. In that moment she loved him too. She cried out at the statue's feet like it would come back to life and stay with her. But it couldn't. But she never known the truth to Steven's death. There was only one sword found. No bones. Nothing. She didn't even notice the hooded man far behind the crowd walking away with a small black cat at his side...
6 years later, Lily wakes up to strange noises from the baby's room. She's stopped by the sight of a man with messy jet-black hair and a prickly black beard, eyes glowing intense green, playing with her child. "Steven.." she calls out softly. The man puts Stephen, her baby boy, down in his crib and turns to face her,"Lily.." Instantly Lily kisses Steven, tears falling from her face,"Steven, I know you weren't dead." Steven smiles,"My epipath said 'I love her'. If I was dead, it woulda said 'I loved her. Plus I was at my own funeral. Duh." he says laughing softly. He looks over to Stephen,"Soo Stephen.." ,"Is Will's child..." Steven frowns,"Yeah.." he looks at him,"He's got your eyes though. Those beautiful sky-blue eyes. Will's lucky." Lily shrugged,"Apparently not much cuz he left us a year ago." she smiles at Stephen who starts to fall asleep,"He's got your laziness though. That's always good." she laughs. Steven smiles,"Well Will missed out on a perfect girl." Lily raises an eyebrow and pulls him close,"Oh really? Then why are you so happy?". Steven shrugs as his eyes burn brightly. Bynx, now getting old pops his head out and on his collar was a note. Lily opens the small not and there's a ring and a small message--Ink may stain his skin and his jeans may all be ripped, he's not perfect but he swears he's perfect for you. He wants to be with you forever, he can't live in happiness without you. He loves you with his entire mind, body and soul. Please, I beg you, marry this loser..?-- Lily laughs and takes the ring,"You are sucha loser." Steven smiles,"Will you marry me?" Lily puts the ring on her finger and throws her arms around Steven's neck,"Yes. I love you. And I want you to be here with me." Steven smiles,"I always have been. Always will be." After a few seconds something came to Lily's mind,"Hey. She what were the ashes found in the transmitter?" Steven shrugs,"My pants..."

The Unforeseen The Final Battle Part 4 Lily *** This is it. I see a feite drag away Will and infects him. Zak is untouched, probably because they think he's dead. Night's no where to be found and our three fighters are up to their necks in infected. I hop from one machine to another. Every time a feite tried to climb it I'd throw a pellit. I make it a little more than half way when the King and Queen Feites spot me. They rawr and charge at me. I had no time to think. Think like Night, is all that went through me head. I counted the seconds and speeds that they were coming. Every leap onto a machine cost me time and energy. I counted the third minute. The Queen feite is about 10 feet away from me. I throw a pellit and send her flying against a wall. The King rawrs in anger. I look around for anything that could help me. I pull away a metal pipe and swing as hard as I can at the King's face. It screeches in pain and it bleeding from his eye,"Whoops! Sorry, did i do that?" I spit out sarcastically. While he is distracted I jump off the machine onto the floor and start sprinting towards the transmitter. At the tenth minute, I find myself surrounded by the infected. I'm back to back with Izzy who was completely exhausted. Her infection is spreading faster and is up to her hip. She is hunched over and has a desperate gaze in her eyes. She won't give up,"You're almost there, Lily..."she gasps for air,"Don't worry about me. I'll hold them off. Get to Heartnett." "But--" "Just go NOW." She inturrupts and attacks the feites with the rest of her energy. I start running toward Heartnett. As I get farther I hear Izzy yelling in pain as she's over powered by five feites. I look back and see her still strggling to not turn into them but they rip off her left arm and chew up the right side of her body. Blood splatters everywhere around her. A few seconds later her skin starts to rot and turn blue-gray. She loses her hair and he takes on a huge zombie form. She rawrs out but trips and falls because her leg is disfunctional with her new altered DNA. I swallow back tears from watching that. Just get the serum to the satillite and everything will be arlight! I keep reminding myself. On the thirteenth minute, Heartnett is covering me as feites tirelessly come at us. A feite took Heartnett's Kryti-Claw and he is left with brute force, flipping and knocking down feite while at the same time, trying not to get bit. Like Izzy, he's exhausted as well and is starting to slow down. All of a sudden we hear a girls scream. Heartnett shoots up and urges me to follow him. Lke a run away train he knocks down every feite in his way. One bites him and he grunts in pain. He gets to Brooke who's being attacked my a feite and yanks the feite off of her. They both were infected. Heartnett's eyes start to turn blood red and he starts crying. Instead of tears blood streams down their cheeks. They fall to the floor twitching and shaking like raged animals. They start foaming at the mouth and stand up hunched. Their skin is very pale and pulsing red veins were buldging under the surface of their skin. I was frozen when they spotted me. They stood there not even two inches from my face. All was still. Heartnett and Brooke looked at eachother and back at me and rawred. They started attacking the infected instead of me. I frantically looked around and realized that I was so close to the transmitter. The infected Brooke and Heartnett were slashing and smashing anything that came near them. In just a few seconds there were only about five feites left. The feites started getting tired and now were facing the price for betrayal.On the twenty-third minute I'm working on the computer like some crazy scientist. I had no idea what I was doing and was at the verge of tears that I might have failed this mission. I give up and fall on my knees crying. I look over to Brooke and Heartnett holding eachother looking at me with blood tears in their eyes,"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!! I failed. It's all my fault." I yelled out sobbing and poundng the bloody ground. I start to hear clicks. Like some ghost was typing the passcodes for me. In disbelief I turn and i turn to silence. I see the scarred back of a guy who's half infected. A dying boy with glowing green eyes forces himself to save the world. He breathes heavily, gasping for air and forcing it out with a agonizing stress like he's holding on to life."Night?" I whisper in disbelief.His infected half turns and looks at my with a jagged toothed grin,"Princess?"I smile wiping away a tear,"...You..never seize to amaze me.."He presses enter and the satillite works. I put in the serum and wait. Nothing happens and an alert starts to siren saying OUT OF SERUM OUT OF SUFFICIENT SERUM. My jaw drops. there isn't enough. I look for Night but it was too late. He appears in the case next to the serum and threw his sword point blank at the enter button. It felt like everything was in slow motion. He looks at me with a crooked smile and a tear coming from his human eye,"..And I never will.." he says before the transmitter activates and I'm blinded by a bright light."NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" I scream in desperation. Then the satillite pulsates radio waves with so much power that I'm thrown back and i hit my head on the ground.The twenty-ninth minute, fifty-ninth second...Silence falls and I watch a distorted machine send it's last pulse then explode...

The Unforeseen The Final Battle Part 3 Lily ***We walked straight into the heart of the master hive, or better known as our deaths. Will ran straight into slime cacoons that, as I looked around, were covering the walls, floor and ceiling. Huge, slimey shining, multi-colored sticky balls of fluid. Inside, there were feites in the fetal postion, sleeping. Will comes off the cacoon but the slime, like gorilla glue, has a grip on him. He tries to yell out but I cover his mouth before he gets the chance. I point at the satilite which is behind an enormous feite. The feite is probably 20 feet tall, strong, hairy, and has poisonous black tusks growing out of its mouth. The King? I thought. Heartnett and Brooke pull me behind a nearby machine. Heartnett sets Zak, who was dropped by the one and only Will, on the floor leaning against the back of the machine. Will begins to start whimper but Brooke zaps him with her electrolyzer. I whip around and look at her like she's crazy."What? Relax it only zaps him asleep for like 10." she whispers."10 what?! Minutes, hours, weeks, months??" I whisper back."Maybe 11.""11 WHAT?"Heartnett shushes me and points at the monster feite starting to move. We all freeze and watch it wake up and walk over to the rightside of the room. It stretches and lies back down. We all exhale in relief. Then suddenly we hear rapid footsteps and hissing coming down the staircase. We all take cover behind the machine and watch in horrifying silence as 20 feites led by Austin, now infected, charge into the satilite room and wake up the monster feite. They hiss and rawr and the monster rawrs so loud it made my ears pop. Suddenly the cacoons start to move and burst sending goo and slime flying in chunks all over the place. About a hundred feites start searching the room for us. Adrenaline overcomes my system. An infected sniffs Will's unconsious for any life. I throw myself onto the infected and send it to the ground. I rentlentlessly try to pull Will from the cacoon but the infected have spotted me. Brooke curses under her breath and comes out and zaps a group of feites. Heartnett charges and takes down more of them. I finally pull Will out of the slime and set him next to Zak. I take out the knives that Izzy gave me and stab a feite. It turns around and absorbs the knives,"Well fark...that is not what I was hoping for at all.." I say as I back into a wall. The feite leans forward and its tongue moves around my face. Its breath is smokey. Great. It breathes fire. I think as I shut my eyes and hope for the best, but expect the worst. After a while I hear a thug and a crack,"...Night..?" I open my eyes and see Izzy going completely wild as she laughs and takes down a mob of feites."Oh hai. How are you? I'm not Night though sorry." she says breathing heavily."Izzy?! I though--""I was dead? Nahh. I didn't want to miss the main event." She power kicks two more so hard they fly upward and their heads go through the ceiling. Izzy looks up and smiles"You're gonna need some advil for that.."I smile,"You are crazy.""Nope! I'm out of amo." she corrects and throws her pistols at two more far out into the back,"It's okay. I'll live...maybe." She looks down at her bionic leg and I see a growing, pulsating rust,"I got bit. Sick life, right.""Don't worry, Izzy," I say taking out the vile of the taco serum,"All we need it to get this in that huge case over there."Izzy looks at the glass box labeled, INSERT SERUM HERE,"..You mean that thing behind the skyscaper monster dude?"I look at the serum transmitter and then I see a feite thats even bigger than the monster feite from before. Nope! Thaats the King feite. So sad for me. I thought,"Well there goes my self-confidence and my dreams of my future."Izzy shrugs,"Nah I got this. Where are my knives?""In that dude you knocked out." I say pointing at sleepy zombie on the ground.Izzy sighs and digs her fists into the infected and pulls out the knives,"Thank you ma'am."I almost gagged at the sight. That was nasty as heck. Izzy takes out a leather pouch and tosses it to me. Inside were pellits,"What do they do?""They're mini bombs. Be careful though. They are lethal." she answers as she runs into the crowd of feites laughing.I take out a pellit and throw it at the mob that was coming after me. The pellit explodes in blinding light and blasts the infected into walls,"Oh snap." I mutter. "See? Told ya they are lethal!" I hear Izzy out of the crowd,"You know what to do!"I'm completely lost. What do I do?? I think to myself. Just then I see a shadow onto of the machine."The King and Queen feites." a raspy dying voice says. He sounds like he has no more time left in his life."Night..." I say,"I'll save you."The figure with glowing green eyes smiles but shakes his head and a tear falls from his prickly chin. He vanishes.Confused, I'm afraid of what he mean by that. But then I clear it out of my mind. I'll make sure he stays alive. I look at Will and kiss him,"Sorry but.." I use his face as lift and climb onto the machine. Once I'm at the top, I'm shocked at the sight. Hundreds of feites and only three of us fighting them. Izzy's starting to burn out as she flips one and trips another. Heartnett is exhausted as he just hooked onto one and started whipping him around at the mob knocking then down. Brooke was zapping and taking down every feite that would come near her. I look aoun for the dark shadow. No where to be found.

The Unforeseen Chapter 37 Lily *** After everyone else gets up and eats we pack up and move out. I found a jar or purple glowing stuff with a note: Best Medication for wounds- only use a dime-sized drop and gently cover open wound. Watch, and be amazed. I took a drop of the jelly-like medication and put it on my cuts and bruises. Suddenly, they were all gone. Damn, this stuff is magic. This is probably what Night used on Zak. I thought."Lily! Let's go!" I heard Will call out from the street."I'm coming!" Just as I go down the steps I hear something."I'm here." A raspy voice calls out.I whip around and see a shadow crouched on the roof. His eyes glow and I see half zombie half human creature grinning down at me. I smile,"You always have been." I whisper back. I take off Day's necklace and toss it up. Night catches it with the hook of his sword and winks. I wink back and run off.I catch up to Will and the rest of the group. I look at Izzy's leg and we both smile. Heartnett had comatosed Zak on his back. Brooke was talking to Austin about stradegies.Will comes and kisses me,"Hey, babe. Everyone ready to go?""There's only one problem, Will." Austin said,"We have no stradegy what so ever."Will shrugged,"Great! Let's come at them head on.""We can't do that, Will. We'll get people killed." Izzy says."Well we cant just sit here and do nothing."I look up at the roof at Night. He signals to look in the journal and I do. I flip to a war formation page. "Hey I got an idea." I say closing the book and walkin over to them. I draw the white house in dirt. Everyone gathers around me,"Looking at the White House from here I can see that there is onemain opening that we can go through.""Where?" Will asks."The front." I shake my head,"Is that even a question...""Oh...""Anyway, Once we get inside there are two ways that lead to the satillite. We have to split up. There are 5 of us not including Zak. Will, Izzy and I will go through the right wing and we'll improvise from there. Heartnett, Brooke," they turn to me,"Austin is going to carry Zak while you two will cover. You guys will go down the left wing. We all meet up at the satillite, got it?""Let's do this!" Izzy declared.As we walk to the White House, I look back at the silent shadow following us and I know we can win.

I see Izzy curse her way out of the abandon house, stumble and fall to the mud. She screams out in agony. I wince in the pain coarsing through my body. I look back at her. She can't get back up. I limp out of the dark and sit her down on the steps of the abandoned house.
"Thanks. I thought you were dead, yanno. You being half an infected zombie and then getting shot and all."
I laugh,"Trust me. I'm apparently not that easy to get rid of."
"I'm glad." she looked at the bone torn from her lower leg and winces at the sight,"It probably would've ended a bit worse for me if you hadn't stuck around."
I look at the bone,"Yeah I'm glad I did too 'cause, lucky for you, I can fix injuries pretty friggin quick."
"Please fix it. I feel like I'm slowing everyone down."
I chuckled,"Actually, from looking at the fighters left on our team, it wouldn't slow us down that much. They all kinda suck already and we got two couples too."
Izzy looked confused,"Lily and Will and who else?"
"Heartnett and Brooke." I whispered.
Izzy and I laughed at the thought,"They do make a great couple!"
I laugh along,"I know right? Now let me see your leg."
I put Izzy's leg on my lap and she winces,"Ouch. What's up with it?"
I look at the blood soaked cloth around her leg. I sigh and take out one of her knives. Gently cutting the fabric out, a bloody, gaping wound shows. I see her bone ripped through her flesh and now there's a fresh tear in her leg,"Woow. This is gonna be fun for you."
Izzy looks and her jaw drops,"You..have got to be kidding me..Your gonna have to chop my leg off."
I nod sadly staring down at the mutalated mess of a leg,"I surprised they didn't infect you." I run my fingers through my hair,"This is gonna be hard to fix but I've got an idea for a new leg."
Izzy looks at her leg,"Just get it over with then. It's for the team. I have to do this."
I nod and take out own of my swords,"Okay. I obviously know this is gonna hurt so if you don't mind.."
"Yeah I don't care.."
"Okay," I position the blade, raise it, and bring it down. One slice was all it took. Before Izzy could scream, I pulled her in for a kiss. After a minute I pull away,"There, the worst is over. Now all I need to do it sticth it up and fix it something nice and your good."
Izzy saw dark drops coming from my mouth and realized that she bite my lip,"Crap sorry for your lip!'
I smile,"Its cool. I needed to stop you from screaming so." I stitched up her leg then took out a jar of purple glowing gel.
Izzy looked hestitant,"Hey, what's that?"
I stuck my hand in it and took out a little of the gel,"Its something Dylan made that cured any physical injury. aaaand it glows so its pretty friggin awesome.' I gentley put the gel on her leg.
At first she winced,"Woah, its so cold!"
"I know its gelified Portuguese Man-of-War venom, blue tulip nectar, decron chloride, and cheese. The combo make like an extreme mending medicine and pain killer." I said with a wicked grin.
After a couple seconds Izzy and I watched her leg heal completely. The only thing left was a scar above where her knee would've been. Izzy moves her leg around,"It feels so..different..but as long as its okay then I'm fine. Thanks."
I nod, "No problem. Now, legs get you a new leg.." I reach into my back pocket and take out some small metal discs the size of my fingertips,"This should do."
Izzy looked confused,"Whats that?"
"Your new leg, of course."
"How?"
"Watch." I tap a silver disc at its center and it starts to melt. I put the squishy metal around her leg and press it again and the disc hardens and a green ring starts to glow. "Almost done"
Izzy stares in astonishment,"This is amazing..how did you..?"
"I read some really old books that I found in an ancient dungeon below this building Dylan an I use to live on full-metal alchemy. Then combined todays technology aand--" the disc blinked blue and suddenly transformed into a full leg reaching from Izzy's hip to her new metal toes. "Tadaah. A new leg."
Izzy stands up and hops around in joy,"Holy crap! This is awesome! Its like I never lost a leg! And on top it looks totally teched out and light-weight. Thanks Steven." she said hugging me.
"No problem." I laughed.
Izzy looks at me,"Half zombie half super human. Hows that working out for you?"
"Very painful but my new look can't get any worse." my eyes glowed bright,"I can manage for a little longer," I looked at the enormous hive at the White House,"This will be hard."
Izzy nodded,"Yeah it will. But we came this far. I'm not letting people died in vain."
I agreed,"Yeah.."
Izzy chuckles," Looks like the Unforeseen Soldier is back in the shadows again."
My eyes burn intense green,"Ohh yeah."

Wooow, I'm in so much pain I can hardly breathe. God, that went horribly. I knew Will was an idiot but really? What he said the day before?
Will and I separate ourselves from the group to talk in private. Listen, Will, I say in complete agony, If you pull something like what you did today, I will not hesitate to kill you. I honestly don't know what you were thinking! You actually think that Lily will ever think of you the same way? Will laughed, Look, Night, I have nothing to worry about. Lily hates you. Not me. I was just trying to protect her. I'm the hero remember, short stack? I'm going to take the credit for leading the mission AND capturing and killing Night. I shook my head, So this isn't even about Lily, is it..? You're just doing this to get fame and glory. When were you planning on killing me, when you almost killed her? Look, I just want all this crap to end. Truce until we fix the world, okay? You can kill me and save the world and ontop you can have Lily too. I'll stay out of the way. Deal? I say holding my hand out. Will looks at me then nods and shakes my hand. When he left he made no hesitation taking Lily before I could even say goodbye. I just smiled and waved. Good thing I had my fingers crossed..
I'm sitting right over Will's decision of cover for the night which wasn't really a good choice considering the mansion was fifty feet away. So I place a shock barrier around the area so they wouldn't get themselves killed. Things don't look good for this mission at all. Izzy broke her leg, Zak's in a coma, Cassy and Jackson died. Austin is useless in fights, Lily can't hurt people without saying sorry, and Will? Will's just an idiot. Hmm. Bynx is a good cat. Maybe he shud fight a bunch of feites at the White House. Very smart kitty indeed.

The Unforeseen Chapter 32 Lily ***The war started. About twenty feites charge at Izzy, Heartnett, and Brooke at amazing speeds. Izzy takes three down all at once,"Yeah! This is what I'm talking about!" She flips over two more,"Bring it on!!"Heart shoots his claw and latches on to a feite. He smirks and yanks the claw and spins the feite into five othe feites."There's a lot of them!" Brooke yells out as she paralyzes a group of zombies with a pull of the trigger. Two feites appear behind her and grab her by the hair,"Heelp!"Heartnett sprints and knocks down both of them with brute force. He helps Brooke up."Thanks Heartnett." Brooke says smiling. Heartnett smiles and knocks out three more . Brooke goes back and takes three more out.They just keep coming and coming. Fifty more jump out in a strange formation and surround Izzy,"Oh what? They have brains too??" she yells out. Then she turns to Austin who's standing next to me,"Thanks for that OTHER peice of info I couldn't live without dude!!" The feites started running around Izzy making it hard to see what was real and what wasn't,"What the heck is going on!?" Izzy yelled out from the center of the circle. I coud hardly see her in the blur but feites zipped out of the circle and attacked her. Luckily she kept deflecting every attack. But it's no use, she's getting tired and Heartnett and Brooke are in the same situation."Crap this is bad.." I say.Will's ready with the BB's in his hand,"Don't worry we'll be outta here in no time." He throws the ball and it goes into Izzy's circle and is after her."WILL YOU IDIOT!! AHH!" Izzy yells out in pain,"Crap this isn't gonna be good.""oops.."As the feites surround her closer and closer i thought she was a goner but then I see a shadow flash into the crowd and soon all the feites went flying in every different direction. All I see his Izzy being picked up by a mysterious figure and vanish. All of a sudden he shows up behind us and sets her down,"Thanks for saving me." she says trying to get up. The hooded guy stops her before she can."Don't. Your leg is broken."Once I heard that deep voice I froze,"Night..?"He stood up and looked at me but I couldn't make out his face. All I see is a prickly crooked smile then his eyes started to burn bright green. He vanished again and next thing I know he takes out thrity feites. Then he breaks the circle surrounding Heartnett and Brooke and takes down fifteen more the next second. Heartnett pulls Brooke back to our group and we watch Night vanish and reappear taking down hundreds of feites at a time.Will pulls me in close but i don't pay attention to him. I'm just in a gaze watching feites get knocked out bunches at a time.After 10 minutes Night gets tired but feites just keep on closing in. He pulls off the old cloth and he's shirtless once again. His body covered in scars and the tattoos on his left arm show. He takes deep breathes and takes ten more down. Soon the feites are backing away hissing and growling to regroup. Night falls to his knees in exhaustion.Bynx tears his way out of his jacket and runs to him whimpering. Night senses the tiny cat push against his cheek with his head and smiles picking him up,"Hey buddy. I missed you." he forces out through the pain.It seems that its safe so I break away from Will and run towards him. "Night!"He looks up surprised at me but doesn't say a word. Heartnett and Brooke follow me to meet him. Just then, a metal ball zipped past us and hit Night hard in the shoulder. He yells in pain as the BB forces him flying in the air and he crashes down onto the concrete. The ball made a deep hole in his right shoulder and started bleeding.I look back and see Will emotionless,"Lily step away from him. He's a murderer."I hear Night getting up slowly,"Lily.." is all I hear before I feel a hand on my leg sweeps me off my feet. I look and see a feite dragging me to the hive. "Help!! i can't get free!" i screamed and just then the feite snapped and aimed and my leg. I screamed louder. Just as the feite was an inch away I shut my eyes ad brace myself once again for the worse. After a second I open them and see the feite on Night. He's yelling in pain at his shoulder but is managing to keep him off. He rolls over ontop of the zombie but his swords are far from his reach,"Dammit." Is all he could say before the feite's arm pulls free from his grasp and lashes out at his face. He yells in agony and punches the feite so hard it bashes it's head in."NO!" i scream as he puts his hand to the right side of his face. His skin started to turn gray and the white of his right eye turned black. I could see black veins appear on his body. I turn to Will,"You..." is all that comes out before I sprint to Night and take out a vile of the serum and inject it into him. I only get to inject half of the serum before Will takes out a gun and aims at Night. His shot was off and the bullet was coming towards me but Night pushes me away and it hits him. He falls to the ground. "No...Will you murderer!!"Lily..no." I heard him stand up weakly. I look at him and the bullet hole went through his collar bone but it closed up. he was half zombie half human. He smiles,"I have to go.""But--""I can't be trusted. I don't know how long this will last so take care of Bynx for me. But before I go I needa talk to Will in private."Will inches forward and they talk. Then Will takes me before I could say goodbye to Night. *** Feedback?:)

The Unforeseen Chapter 31 Lily ***"Okay guys!" Izzy starts,"Time to move out. Austin how long until we to the satilite?"Austin checks his watch,"Hmm we should get there in about two days. The last hive of feites might be abandoned like the past two but just to make sure we have to know which ones we're facing,"He presses some buttons and hologramic screen shoots into the air."So these are probably the most dangerous types of feites we'll face yet. These feites are called Deseri Monarchus. They have a gray tint to their skin that show their black veins. Their teeth sharpen to make powerful 400 pound crushing jaws. Their eyes glow green and their speed, strength, senses and agility are phenomenal. These guys are major freaks of nature.""So there's no running." I say."And there's no hiding." Brooke adds.Izzy sighs and looks at Zak who's still in a coma,"Dammit...So that means we're heading straight through them and we haveto fight them all and escape, correct?"Austin nods slowly,"Yeah."Heartnett looks at me."No we don't need Night--wait I can actually understand you now? Whatever. We don't need him."Heartnett keeps his sliver eyes on me."Shut up! I am not kidding myself."Still staring at me."Dude just stop."He shugs and goes to Zak and picks him up.Will hugs me from behind,"We don't need him. As long as your safe I'll fight through every feite there is."I smile,"Thanks Will. Your amazing.""Not as amazing as you."Izzy gags,"Holy crap just stop you two are the most annoying couple here!""We're the only couple here!" I say."Whatever! Just stop it its making us all sick."Heartnett makes a gagging face."Shut it mutey." Will says.Heartnett takes offense and inches back."Not cool Will. Come let's just go." Brooke says.After a couple hours of following Izzy we take a break on a crumbled sidewalk. "Where is he?" I over hear Izzy say to herself."Is who?"Izzy whips around startled,"No one I meant like the feites. Like where are they.""Oh..okay." I say and walkover to Will.Heartnett looks out into the distance and sees something and nudges Austin."Oh hey! Look the White House is..right..ohhh shizznit."I take a look at an unreal sight and freeze. The White House was covered in strange linked hexes that formed twisted walls and made it look like the inside of a prehistoric gigantic bee hive. "Is that the last hive...?"Austin shakes his head,"Mmmnope," he says in a high shaky voice then points a at a broken down mansion about hundred feet away."That is and I forgot to mension that these feites can come out during the day..."Izzy throws her arms in the air, "Well STUFF! I could've got my whole life without knowing that unimportant peice of information, right?!"I saw one pair of green eyes,"Night?"Then a thousand pairs showed up."AWWW! That is not what I wanted to see!"Izzy looks and smiles,"Finally some action,"she takes out her knives. She turns to Brooke who takes out her Elecrtrolyzer and Heartnett activates his Krypti-Claw,"Will, Lily, and Austin stay here and protect Zak. *Later that night*
I'm sitting on the roof looking up at the sky. What's so special about looking at the sky and talking to nothing? Night thinks it's cool. I thought. I look out to the city full of feites rampaging around. "Night's probably one of them now. There's no way he could make it alive." I say to myself. I snuggle more into Night's jacket as a gust of winter air hits me. For some reason I kept his jacket. I don't know why but whatever. It's so warm. It's so cold out here. Night's frozen. Bynx is a catsicle by now. I thought then I realized something was moved slightly in his jacket pocket.
"Bynx?"
A small black head pops out and his blue eyes shine in the darkness,"Meow." He purs and hops onto my lap and looks around. He looks up at me confused then hops off my lap onto the roof and searches around. He starts to whimper and calls out louder and louder. He tries to leap onto the chimney but is too small and can't reach and falls back. Then he tries again.
My chest aches as I watch him fall everytime so I try to help him.
Instead he lashes out at me and inches against the base of the chimney. I see tears in his eyes. i didn't even know cats could cry. A drop of rain fell from the edge of the chimney and hits him on the head. Bynx panicks and hisses around and rubs his soaked head with his little paw. He tries again for the chimney but still can't. He calls out more running to the other side of the roof.
"Bynx.." I call out softly as a tear falls down.
Bynx lies down on damp shingles, still calling out softly. I inch over quietly and slowly but he catches me and hisses in pain and I stop in my tracks. I sit down about two feet away from him. There has to be something in this jacket that could help, I though as I looked through Night's pockets. The first pocket I go through had an old journal with a wornout leather cover. I flip through the pages and realized that it's Day's journal,Riight. This is Day's jacket. Hmmm. I looked for Bynx's name. I found a drawing of Night, Day, and Bynx together on a beach. They must have been about 12 years old or so. The next page was about Bynx and Night:

Steven and Bynx seem like an inspeprable pair. They're like twins. I wish McCloud were here. He was like my twin. That dog and I did everything together. Oh well. It's a good thing Steven and Bynx found eachother. I still remembr coming back to our hut with food and finding my little brother singing a tiny runt kitten to sleep in his shirt then later us arguing on whether to keep him or not. I'm glad he won the fight 'cause there's no Steven with his Bynx and there's no Bynx without his Steven. They taught eachother what they knew just like McCloud taught me and I him. Dang that cat likes pigeon. It's like he's got a hole in his tiny gut. Well. Where ever McCloud is, he's always gonna be in my heart. I hope Steven and Bynx stay together forever. Steven finally figured out what it was like to have a little brother who he has to take of and he's so much stonger for it. Bynx is like his blessing. Dad, if you're still listening to my constant talking and praying, well look at your little runt now. He's finally grown up. I miss you Dad.

I couldn't even sleep last night. I can't believe Steven was Night. Night killed my father. Night destroyed military weapons for money and robbed homes and killed people. He's worse than his brother. How could Steven be Night? I hate Night. I want him dead. But...now that I know who he really is, somethings so different. That still doesn't mean tha I want him to come back. t I hate him and want him to face the consequences for what he did. He lied to me and thats the worst thing you could do.
This morning Izzy took the lead and guided us through the abandon suburbs. It was strange. She knew exactly where we were going and she kept softly clicking everytime she needed to stop. Another thing that was weird was that we got pass two hives and there weren't any feites but I feel like someone's watching me.
At the end of the day we entered an abandon house to rest for the night. Of course when its the middle of winter and there's no heat I'm going to be freezing.
"I'll make a fire." Brooke told us going towards the fireplace.
Will sets down Zak on a couch.
Izzy walks over and checks Zaks wounds,"Damn. He's looking pretty good. Like the bruises are almost gone and the bump on his head is gone and the scratches are gone.," she looks at the big cut wound Steven stitched up,"Already scarring up. I don't know what Steven did but Zak's basically all healed up."
Austin starts cooking up a soup,"Whatever that criminal did doesn't erase what he did in the past."
"Yeah he's a liar and can't be trusted." Will agrees.
Heartnett shakes his head.
"I think he's really a hero." Brooke says.
"Yeah. I think he's just misunderstood." Izzy agrees.
"That doesn't mean that Night is a good guy. He lied." I rebuddled.
"I don't think he lied. Steven never said that he was Night, right?" Izzy retorted
"Wow. He didn't lie, he just didn't tell the truth. Big fudging difference. Do you know what he did?! I honestly can't believe you are on his side. Night killed people! He stole! He destroyed military weapons during the war! He killed my father along with many other people he blew up in the Midnight Medical Masacare, remember?" I spat back at her.
Heartnett shook his head.
Izzy nodded,"I agree with you, Heartnett. Why are we judging him? He obviously has his side of the story, we just didn't listen to him and then kicked out into the zombie infested streets like we don't have hearts or something. I'm actually astounded."
"We can't trust him if he kept that secret from us. What else has he lied about or not told us?" Will interupts.
I agree,"Night should be dead. He should have died with his brother. I mean, what if Night's the guy who let that infected rat loose? Now he's probably trying to look like the hero."
Izzy sighs and laughs,"You're sucha..I can't even explain it 'cause these Witty people will kick my butt off the storyline."
"What are you talking about???" I asked confused.
Izzy sighs and ignores my question,"Look, There's a reason why Steven did all those things."
I cross my arms,"Oh really? What could be a reason to kill my father?"
"Well I-"
"What could be the reason for stealling, destroying, killing,exploding, etc that totally makes it okay?"
"I don't-"
"Yeah you dont know do you?"
"SHUT THE F**K UP YOU ANNOYING PEICE OF COW CRAP! Look! Obviuosly I dont know the reasons but yanno why? 'Cause we didn't calm the heck down when we found out who he was! He could be dead out there because of us being total idiots! You particularly!--"
I interupt her with a jab to the face.
Everything was silent. Izzy looks up at me shocked yet furious. Then she sighed in pity,"You. You of all people here shouldn'y being wanting him to die."
"Night--" I started.
"Night, Night, Night. That's not his name. Steven did nothing but look after you like any friend would but then you shut him out."
Before I could say anything, Izzy stormed upstairs.

I slowly walk over to Steven as quietly as I can.
"I can hear you, yanno." he laughed.
I smiled,"How can you do that? Like all your senses are like 10 times ours."
"Actually, it's about 183 times better than yours."
I sit across from him,"So Will told me what happened to Cassy."
He frowned and looked out,"Yeah..?"
I nodded,"Yeah. Were you really that frozen scared that you couldn't save her?"
He looked at me confused. His eyes dimmed,"What?" he looked at Will then back to me,"Uh..yeah, I guess I was. Will was the hero in this fight." he said sadly.
I looked at him. There's absolutely no way that happened. I thought.
Steven noticed me staring at him,"What?"
"Nothing. I'm having a feeling that you're lying to me." I said squinting my eyes at him.
His eyes started to glow bright green and he scratched his prickly chin,"Oh look at that, I need to shave."
I came closer to him,"What happened?"
Steven's eyes burned brighter,"What ever Will told you is true okay?"
I blinked and came closer,"Really..?"
Steven sighed,"Lily..There's something you should know about Will. What really happened was by the time we got there, Cassy was being ripped to shreds and it was too late to save her. We both took out some zombies until I was able to get to Zak and bring him to the group." he said quickly and softly.
I sit beside him,"So Will was lying to me.."
Steven nods slowly,"But he's not the only one keeping secrets from you.."
"What?" I ask confused.
He takes a shaky breath and he looks at me,"Lily, I'm sorry, and I don''t know how you're gonna take this but as my best friend you should know and whatever happens after is up to you.."
"Spit it out..I'm sure I'll understand."
Steven looks at me,"You know Night, right?"
"Yeah..?"
Steven takes a deep breath,"Lily, Night is--"
We were interupted by Austin's communication watch started to beep loudly which meant it was urgent. We all huddle in a circle as Austin switches the watch to holographic speaker. Mr. Evans is huffing on the floating screen and sweating like crazy.
"Mr. Evans? Mr. Evans whats wrong?" Izzy calls out.
"Where is he?! Where is the boy with the glowing green eyes?!" He yells.
I look at Steven who is standing separate from the group. His eyes are on fire.
Mr. Evans is coughing hard,"You! You think this is funny don't you?"
Steven's widen,"What?"
The cam goings to a dead Robby bleeding on the side of an earthy wall. Everyone gasps at the sight,"You're sick! I knew I recognized you from somewhere! You...You are Night! Night Shade! Day Shade's younger brother!"
"Night from Unforeseen..." Izzy says glaring at Steven.
"What..?" Is all that comes out of my mouth as the hairs on my arms start too stand up. Anger takes over my body.
Steven looks at me wih sincere eyes. They didn't glow anymore,"Lily, please listen to me--"
"Listen to you? You want me to listen to you? I can't believe you are Night! You killed people! You lied...You lied to me. What else have you been lying about?!"
Steven gets tackled by Will and Steven throws himm off and backs away, shaking,"Lily, I'm not lying to you! I'm not the same guy I was 5 years ago, I swear, I would never hurt you."
Suddenly Izzy comes in front of him and whispers something then kicks him and forces him up. Steven is breathing heavily and coughing out blood,"You're out of here, Night." Izzy says walking him out.
"Alright I'll go if you don't believe me. Lily." he looked at me and broke free of Izzy's grip. Then he takes off his armor, jacket and shirt revealing his bear upper body, covered in scarrs and bandagees. He unwrapped his left arm and I saw amazing tattoos from his wrist all the way to his shoulder and chest. On the side of his arm, there was "NIGHT" spelled out in black letters. Steven throws down his things and takes his twin swords,"You know what? I've never lied to you. The only reason why I lied to cover for Will's lie was that I saw how happy you were and I didn't want to ruin it, okay? I am Night. If you only listened to me maybe you'll see my side of the story but I geuss you won't," he started going out into the night. On his back there were even more scars. He looks back at me. I see a tear.
"You won't survive out there shirtless." I start.
He shakes his head and becomes emotionless. His eyes start to glow bright,"Good. I'd rather die as Steven than live as Night."
After that he disappeared into the night.
I look down at his brothers necklace. What did I just do?

Chapter 25

Oh my God. I can't believe what just happened. I just can't wrap my mind around it. How could we have lost two people on this mission already? I just couldn't even imagine how something like this could have happened. And now I see Zak bleeding and unconcious next to a fire Brooke made. Brooke. She can't even speak anymore. She's just in shock now. I look over to Steven whose trying stop the bleeding.
"Will, go get the duct tape and some of the rags, please?" he ordered.
Will nodded and got the tape and rags. Steven takes a small swiss army knife from his belt and cuts through Zaks blood-stained shirt and looks at the wound. I wince at the sight of raw flesh. His insides were on the edge of pouring out and the smell was horrible.
Steven sighs and smiles,"Awesome cut, man.'
Austin comes in a little annoyed,"Are you not grossed out and scared of this?"
Steven works gently on the gaping hole with string and a sewing needle from his knife. I can't even look at it. But Steven just going at it like he's been doing it for years. He grins,"Nah I'm just glad he's not infected.' He finishes sewing up the wound and checks Zaks body for anymore open cuts,"Okay. He's got hit in the head pretty bad so there's that huge bump sticking out of his head, he's got a black eye, some scratches I could seal up and some bruises. I can't believe he held out so long." Stevem wipes the seat from his forehead and starts covering up the scratches and putting ice on the bruises and bumps.After he's done he separates himself from everyone and sits at the edge of the cave.
I look at Zaks patched up body and see he's sleeping soundly. No pain. Brooke is smiling again watching over her brother. Austin is watching the fire. Will wraps his arms around me and smiles,"You okay, baby? You seem too quiet." He kisses my forehead and I giggle.
"Yeah. You just scared me half to death when you went to go save Zak and Cassy." I say.
He smiles,"I promised I wouldn't let anyone or anything hurt you. I'll fight for you to keep you safe. I promise I won't leave you, kay?"
"So what happened back there.? What happened to Cassy?" I asked.
Will frowned," We tried as hard as we could to save both of them. I went for Zak and Steven went for Cassy. I managed to save Zak like that but Steven couldn't do anything for Cassy. He just stood there terrified."
I look over to Steven whose just motionless, staring out into the night. How is that possible? Steven is faster than that. Maybe there were too many..? Maybe he got tired..? There's no way..."That's so weird of him.."
"Yeah. He was out of it today."
I stand up and walk over to Steven,"I'll be right back."
"Uhh sure."
