Hello Beautiful♥
My name is Stacey Lyn and i have been alive on this crazy, messed up planet for 14 years. Im going into my freshman year of highschool and im pretty excited. Im an adverage girl, brown hair, hazel eyes, 5'4", friends, and family. My parents divorced when i was a lovely 2 months old and i've never heard from my dad since. I live in the wonderful (note the sarcasm) state of Massachusetts.I dance and i have been since i was 2 and a half. I also enjoy playing tennis and badminton, reading and writing. My favorite color is purple and i like the numbers 17 and 21. Random i know, but its true. Cody Simpson and Taylor Swift are my two favorite artists♥ Sometimes i feel like my music is the only thing i can depend on. If i had the choice, i would stay a kid forever. I never want to grow up, but then again, who does? Im a huge dreamer but i always find myself putting me down to keep my heart from being broken. I tend to create senerios in my head that i know will never happen in real life. I get mad at myself for the littlest things and sometimes i wish i could be a better me. Sometimes i just want to dissapear so i wouldnt have to deal with all the drama. Lifes not fair but i sure as hell wish it was. Chapter 50
Ashlee's POV:
We stepped out of Matt's car and i grabbed Jake's free hand, his other hand clutching his piggy bank. "Be careful crossing, this is a busy street," I warned, looking down at him. He nodded. "What kind of candy are you going to buy?" Matt asked Jake as we waited for the traffic to slow. "Im gunna buy sour patch kids, and skittles, and M&M's, and Reese peantbutter cups!" He said happily. I smiled. Jake was so lucky to be so young and not have a care in the word. The traffic slowed down and soon the street was deserted. I held Jake's hand tighter as we started to cross the road. "Uh oh," Jake said as his piggy bank slipped out of his hand and fell to the ground. There was a loud crack as the glass bank broke and shattered into a million pieces. I started to bend down to help Jake pick up his money but Matt stopped me. "Keep walking, i'll help him pick it up." He assured me. I nodded and gave a weak smile. I finished crossing the street and looked back towards Jake and Matt. I glanced down the street and saw a car speeding forward. "Matt!" I called out, trying to get his attention. I glanced down the road and watched the car speed forward at an alarming rate. "Matt!" I screamed again. He finally looked up at me and i pointed towards the speeding car. I watched horror fill Matt's face as he finally realized what was happening. Without warning, Matt jumped in front of Jakey just as the car reached them. My mouth dropped as i watched Jake and Matt fly through the air and hit the ground with a ear splitting crack. "Matt! Jakey!" I screamed. I ran over to their mangled, blood covered bodies and fell towards the ground. I looked at Matt's cold, lifeless body and grabbed his hand. "Matt, im so sorry." I choked out, tears streaming down my face. "Ashwee ," I heard Jake whimpered. I turned around and pulled him into my lap. "Jakey, im so, so sorry." I cried. "Don't be," He whispered, whipping away my tears. "No matter what happens, i'll always be in your heart." And just like that, my baby brother died in my arms.

My head was resting on Matt's chest as the movie ended. "Are you awake, Ashlee?" Matt asked, stroking my hair. "Yeah," I said. I yawned and stretched out my arm's and leg's. "Will you bake a cake with me?" I asked, sitting up. Matt let out a little laugh. "That was random, but anything for you baby girl." Matt pulled me up off of the couch and we walked into the kitchen. I stood on my tiptoes as i looked for the box of cake mix. "Chocolate or funfetti?" I asked, looking at Matt. "Umm, funfetti," he said. I grabbed the box of cake mix out of the cabinet and put it on the counter. After we baked the cake we frosted it. "Omigoosh, this looks so good!" I said, nearly drooling over the cake. "Haha, i know," Matt agreed. We continued to frost until Jakey came down the stairs. "Ashwee, will you take me to the candy store?" He asked, climbing into my lap. I glanced at Matt. "Would you mind?" I asked and he shrugged. "Yeah, thats no problem," He replied. I slid Jake off my lap and we stood up. "Do you have your money?" I asked. "Yep!" Jake said, holding up his piggy bank. "Okay, lets go," Matt said as we headed out the door.

Chapter 48
Ashlee's POV:
*10 months later (beginning of summer)* My relationship with Parker is even stronger now. We have hit some bumps in the road along the way, but it just helped up understand and appreciate each other more. Matt has become my closest guy friend here and we always like to goof around. Ronnie and Leah are my absolute best friends. They have been there for me through thick and thin.
I was sitting on my couch watching That 70's Show when my phone buzzed in my pocket.
Matt 3:47pm - heey(:
Me 3:48pm - heeeey(: whats up?!
Matt 3:50pm - nm. do you want to hang out today!?
Me 3:51pm - suuuuure! come over in 10
was I slid my phone back into my pocket and continued watching TV. It had been really quiet around here lately seeing Nate, Alex, and Parker were in Florida for football camp. About 10 minutes later i heard the door open. "Honey im home!" I heard Matt call out jokingly. "Im in here Matt," I called back, laughing. He walked in and plopped down on the couch next to me. "Did you bring a movie?" I asked. I already knew the answer. It had become a routine that when ever we went over each others house we would always watch a movie. Strange, i know. "Is Harry Potter okay?" He asked, holding up the movie. "Yep!" I replied as i got up to put it in.

Parker's POV:
My breath got caught in my throat as Ashlee walked through the door. God she looked stunning. I walked up behind her and slid my arms around her waist. "Happy yy y birthday, beautiful," I said, kissing the top of her head. She turned around and pressed her hands against my chest. "Did you do this!?" She asked happily. I nodded and she smiled. "Thank you," She said sweetly. "Your welcome," I said giving her a hug.
Ashlee's POV:
I weaved my way through a jungle of people towards the court yard door. Drew had told me that Parker wanted me to meet him outside. I felt cold air whip my hair back as i stepped outside. I spotted Parker sitting on a blanket in the damp grass and walked over to him. "You wanted me?" I asked as i sat down next to him. "Yeah," He lifted a guitar and placed it on his lap. I watched him carefully strum as he started to sing Next 2 You by Chris Brown and Justin Bieber.
"And baby, everything that i have is yours
You will never go cold or hungry
I'll be there when your insecure
Let you know that your always lovely"
I felt my heart melt as he sang, his voice was just so pure. When the song ended Parker put down his guitar and grabbed my hand. "I love you, Ashlee." He cooed. "I love you too, Parker." I said, leaning in to kiss him.

Ashlee's POV:
Wednesday finally came and Ronnie, Leah and I were at my house getting ready. "So what is this party for any ways?" I asked, turning my curler on. I watched Ronnie and Leah exchange glances. "Ooh. You know, just... stuff." Leah said calmly. I gave them a weird look, but decided to ignore it. I slid into my dress and hooked my necklace on around my neck. Once my curler was warm, i did my hair in big loose curls. I quickly applied my makup and then look in the mirror. I looked really good. "Ready?" I asked when all of us finished. "Yep!" Ronnie replied. We headed down stairs and into the car. After a few minutes we arrived at the Grand Hall, where the party was being held. The three of us hopped out of the car and headed towards the door, our arms linked.
Parker's POV:
I felt my phone beep inside my pocket and took it out.
Leah 5:57pm: Almost there. Be ready
My hands started to sweat as i put my phone back into my pocket. I really hope Ashlee likes her party... "Guys, she's almost here." I said, getting into my place.
Ashlee's POV:
I opened the door and was instantly hit with the sound of people yelling, "Surprise!" My mouth dropped as i looked around at all my friends. "Are you surprised?" Ronnie said, looking at my reaction. "Oh yeah." I said nodding.

"What about this one?" I said stepping out of the dressing room. Leah put her figure to her chin and shook her head. "No, it doesn't go with your skin tone." She said. I sighed and looked towards Ronnie. "What do you think?" I asked tiredly. We had been shopping since 12:30 and i have tried on about a trillion dresses. "I agree with Leah." She said bored. I groaned and slid down the wall. "Why haven't you guys tried on anything!" I said exasperated. "Because we haven't found anything!" Ronnie replied. "Now go try this on!" Leah said throwing me another dress. I walked back into the dressing room and slid on the sleek black dress. I smoothed out the pink band and fixed the black and white zebra pattern at the top. I really liked the dress. I stepped out of the dressing room and walked to Leah and Ronnie. "What do ya think?!" I asked, twirling. I watched their mouths drop and I held my breath. "Oh. My. God" Leah said slowly. "Its perfect," Ronnie cooed. I felt a smile cross my face and i let out a sigh of relief. "Should i buy it?" I asked, looking at myself in the mirror. "Yes!" They both screeched. "Parker's going to flip when he see's you!" Leah said. "I sure hope so," I said looking at my self one last time.

My hands sliced the water as i swam laps in the pool. I felt the cold water splash the top of my head from my powerful kicks. "Hey Ashlee!" I heard someone call. I looked up to see Ronnie and Leah standing at the edge of the pool. "Hey guys!" I called back. I swam over to the edge of the pool and climbed up the ladder. I grabbed my towel and walked over to them. "What's up?" I said as i dried off my hair. "Well, there is this party next week. Its a formal party so all the girls where dresses and the guys where tuxes. Are you in?" Leah asked. "Sure, when and where?" I replied. "Its next Wednesday, I'll give you the address later. We can go dress shopping tomorrow if you want." Ronnie continued. "Sound's like fun!" I said nodding. "Okay! Well we have to go! See you tomorrow!" Leah said, walking through the door. After they left i went up stairs and took a shower. I put on a navy blue tank top and some white shorts. I put on some light make up and walked down stairs to meet Jake. "Are you ready!?" I asked as i walked into the living room. "Yeah!" He replied excitedly. He hopped off the couch and came to my side. "What movie do you wanna watch?" I asked as i took his hand. "Hop!" Jake said. I nodded and walked him out to the car.

Parker's POV:
I walked up the stairs towards Drew's bedroom. It was about 11 o'clock and Ashlee was still asleep. But that didn't matter. I needed to talk to Drew. I headed over to his door and knocked. I heard a groan and then feet shuffling across the hard oak floor. The door opened and Drew stood there with bed head and his pajamas on. "Hey, can i ask you a question?" I asked, feeling slightly awkward. Drew nodded and opened the door wider. He stepped aside and i walked into his room. "So, what do you want?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest. I licked my lips and sat down on his couch. "Well Ashlee's birthday is next week and i really want to do something special for her. I was wondering if you had any ideas," I answered. Drew sighed and sat down on his bed. "You really love her, don't you." He said. "I...yes. I love her." I responded slowly, shaking my head. "So do you have any ideas?" I asked again. Drew nodded, "Yeah, i have a few..."
Ashlee's POV:
I jogged down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. I spotted my mom at the counter and Jake sitting down at the table. "Good morning." My mom said, pouring milk into Jakes bowl of cereal. "Morning," I responded. I grabbed the bag of bread and put a slice in the toaster. I sat down next to Jake and waited for my toast. "Ashwee will you play wif me?" Jake said, tugging at my arm. "Im actually going to go swim for a while, but how about later i take you to a movie?" I said ruffling his hair. "Otay!" He said cheerfully. When i finished eating my toast, i grabbed my towel and headed out to the pool.

Parker and i pulled apart and a smile instantly spread across my face. The rain had slowed and a light mist had fallen over the meadow. "Look," Parker said pointing behind me. I turned around and my eyes fell apon
a bright rainbow, its colors cascading across the sky. "Wow," I said in awe. "I know," he replied. I felt his arms slide around my waist and his steady breathing down my neck. My head rested against his chest and let out a heavy sigh. "We should probably head back," I said, not wanting this moment to end. He nodded as I slid my hand into his and we headed back through the wood.

Chapter 40(rewrite)
Ashlee's POV:
I felt Parkers hands grasp my waist as he slid me off his lap so we were facing each other. "Do you want to take a walk with me?" He asked. "I want to show you something." I put my hands on the ground and pushed my self up. "Sure!" I said as i brushed off my butt. Parker stood up too and grabbed my hand. We walked down to the side walk and started heading in the direction of the park. Eventually we reached a small path hidden between a forest of trees and Parker lead me down it. "Where are we going?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of me. "You'll see," Parker replied reassuringly. We continued down the long winding path until we reached a break in the trees. We emerged in a luscious meadow filled with red, orange and pink wild flowers. The grass was growing a brilliant shade of green and i could hear a stream running not far off. I spun in a circle, taking it all in. "Its beautiful," I cooed. Parker grabbed my waist and pulled me close. "But not as beautiful as you," He said bringing me into a kiss. I so caught up in kissing Parker, that i didn't notice the sky turning a dark shade of grey and clouds covering over head. I felt a drop of rain land on my forehead, and then another on my shoulder. I broke away from Parker and we gazed up at the sky. "I think its gunna-" I was interrupted when buckets of rain started pouring down on us. I glanced at Parker to see his hair dripping. He took a step towards me and his fingers traced my chin. "Kiss me," I whispered, staring into his eyes. His lips met mine and there we were, kissing in the rain.

Ashlee's POV:
My fingers were intertwined with Parkers as we walked down the street. As we walked i couldn't help but think how perfectly our hands fit together. "You know your birthday is coming up soon." Parker said, breaking my thoughts. "And?" I asked. "Don't you want to do something special for it?" He replied. "Not really," I said shrugging. Parker didn't bother saying anything else, so we just continued walking in silence. I looked up and watched dark clouds fill the sky. "It looks like its gunna-" I was interrupted when buckets of rain started pouring down on us . Parker tugged at my hand, pulling me forward, and we began to run. We ran down the sidewalk towards my house when he pulled me off course. "Where are we going!?" I screamed over the rain. Parker ignored me and continued pulling me through a forest of trees. "Parker!" I screamed again. He turned around and looked me in the eyes. "Just trust me," he pleaded. I nodded and followed him through the woods. Eventually there was a break in the trees and we emerged in a huge meadow. Pink, yellow and red wild flowers were scattered along the damp grass. "Look," Parker said pointing up. I followed his finger and spotted a rainbow laying above the trees. "Its beautiful," I whispered watching the colors cascading across the sky. "But not as beautiful as you," Parker said bringing me into a kiss.

Chapter 39
Ashlee's POV:
I woke up with Zach's arms wrapped around me. I moved them and set them at his side, careful not to wake him. When sat up I was instantly hit with the smell of bacon. I heard my stomach rumble as I stood up. I slid on my slippers da and quietly opened my door. I walked down the hall and from that i could tell, it seemed like everyone else was already up. I walked down the stairs and pulled out the chair next to Parker. "Morning!" I said greeting everyone. "Did you sleep well with Zach last night?" Justin teased. I rolled my eyes and put some bacon on my plate. "Yes, i slept fine." I replied. Almost instantly after i said that Parker shot me a look and pushed his chair back. He stormed over to the sink to put his plate in and then stomped away. "What's his problem?" I asked once he was out of earshot. Everyone shrugged and went back to eating their breakfast. When i was done eating i put my plate in the sink and when to go find Parker.
Parker's POV:
I was sitting out by the stables when Ashlee came up to me. "Hey Parker." She said sitting down next to me. I glanced at her then looked back forward, not able to meet her eyes. When i didn't say anything back she continued. "Are you okay?" she asked. I could tell she was getting a little bit annoyed. Something inside me broke. "Yes, because im perfectly okay with you kissing your best friend all the time. Your acting like he's your boyfriend instead of me!" My voice was rising with every word and by the time i finished i was practically yelling. With out warning, Ashlee's arms wrapped around my neck and i felt her lips press down hard on mine. When she pulled away her eyes were burning into me. "I love you Parker, and nothing is ever going to change that." She said softly. I opened my mouth to speak but she put her figures on my lips. "Zach was there for me when no one else was. Im sorry we kiss. Okay? Im sorry, but it was nothing more than a friendly kiss. He's my best friend, but you r my boyfriend." She continued. When she finished I grabbed her by the waist and slid her onto my lap. "I'm sorry," I whispered. "Its okay. Just come talk to me next time instead of shutting me out." She said as she rested her head on my chest.

Chapter 37
Ashlee's POV:
I walked outside with Zach by my side, our figures intertwined. I greeted Ashton, Melissa, Serena, Justin and Mason and helped grabbed some luggage. We carried them up to the two guest rooms and by the time we were done people had already started arriving. By 6:30 the party was in full swing: the music was blasting and people were grinding. I felt strong hands wrap around my waist. "Do you want to dance?" I heard Parker whisper into my ear. I turned around and looked into the eyes of the boy i loved. "Sure," I smiled. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the middle of the room. The second we started dancing a slow song came on. I glanced at where the DJ table was set up and saw Nate standing there with a smile on his face. I looked back at Parker and slid my arms around his neck. He slid his arms around my waist and i rested my head on his chest. We swayed back and forth to the beat of the song. When it ended, i looked up at Parker and pressed my lips against his. It didn't last long but i poured all of my emotions into it. "I love you Ashlee," he said when we pulled apart. I felt my heart beat fast as i said those three words back to him. "I love you Parker."

The party ended around midnight and we all stayed up till about 1 cleaning. When we were done we were all still hyped up so we decided to play truth or dare. Childish, i know, but still. We all sat in a circle, Zach on one side of me and Marissa on the other. "Okay, Zach. Truth or dare?" Serena asked. "Umm, dare," he replied. Serena thought about it for a second before saying the dare. I reached for my water and started to take a sip as she said, "Okay, i dare you to kiss Ashlee for at least 15 seconds." I felt my face turn red and i started choking on my water. "What!?" Zach and i said exasperated. "You heard me," She said. "We all know you like Ashlee, Zach. So just kiss her." I turned to face Zach to see his face just as red as mine. He shrugged and started to lean forward. It wasn't like i had an option so i leaned too and with in second our lips met. It wasn't like i hadn't kissed Zach before, because i had, but never like this. I felt the softness of his lips against mine as his hand cradled my head. '12, 13, 14...' i thought to myself. I slowly pulled away and looked into Zach's eyes. They were shining brighter than i had ever seen. "There, 16 seconds. Happy?" I said looking at everyone. They all looked please except for one of them. Parker. He met my eyes and i could see the hurt burning into me. "Yes." Serena said happily.

I was sitting in the living room with Nate, Alex and Drew when i heard Ashlee run down the stairs. "Zach!" She screamed when she opened the door. I watched her jump into a guy, who i assume to be Zach, arms. He leaned down and kissed her on the forehead and i couldn't help but feel a pang of jealously. I looked over at Drew and he sent me a sympathetic look. "Is that Zach?" I said, asking the obvious. "Yeah, they're inseparable." He said nodding. I looked back at Ashlee and Zach to see him leaning down to kiss her. I felt anger and more jealously building up inside me. That should be me. Ashlee grabbed Zach by the hand and pulled him into the living room. "Zach, this is Parker, my amazing boyfriend." She said happily. "Hey, im Zach." he said reaching his hand out. I faked a smile and put my hand out as well. "Parker." I said, making sure my accent was noticeable. If Zach had noticed my accent he didn't show it, he just smiled and turned toward Ashlee. "You wanna help me get my stuff out of the car? I kinda left everybody out there." he said. Ashlee laughed. "Sure." She said. She grabbed his hand and pulled him out side. "Jealous" Drew asked me, reading my expression. "Oh, yeah." I said tightly.

Soon Friday came and Ronnie, Leah and I were all in my room getting ready. "Should i wear these or these?" Leah asked holding up two nearly identical pairs of short shorts. "Does it really matter?" I asked. "Yes!" She nearly shrieked. "Brandon's going to be here tonight and i need to look my best!" She said. "Who's Brandon?" I asked while turning my straighter on. "This kid she's been obsessed with sense 8th grade." Ronnie said. "Ooh," i said laughing. "So which pair?" Leah asked again, ignoring my laughter. "Umm the one on the left." I said. Ronnie nodded in agreement. The three of us finished getting ready and by the time we were done we looked amazing. I looked in the mirror at my off the shoulder top and short shorts. With my yellow tank top underneath and my teal necklace, i had to admit, i looked sexy. My phone buzzed and i ran over to grab it, opening the message.
Zach 5:24pm - heree (:
I squealed in delight as i ran down the stairs and opened the door. "Zach!" I screamed. I looked at my best friend, noticing he had changed a little. His long brown skater style hair was now shorter than when i had saw him last and he was a little taller. His hazel eyes sparkled as i jumped into his warm embrace. "Hey baby girl." Zach said kissing my forehead. "I missed you," I mumbled into his shirt. "I missed you too," He coaxed. His hands stroked my hair and i pulled him closer to me, inhaling his familiar sent. I looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back and leaned down and kissed me on the lips. Nothing out of the ordinary. "So where is this wonderful boyfriend of yours?" he asked.

I walked back to my room to see Ronnie and Leah texting everyone about the party. I laid down on my bed and pulled out my phone. I was going to text my best guy friend, Zach, from Manchester.
Me 2:43pm - heeeeeey(:
Zach 2:44pm - heey pretty lady(:
Me 2:44pm - soo my mom said we could have a party next fridaay. it will be at 6 so bring the creew and you guys can stay here after in one of the guest rooms.
Zach 2:46pm - ehh, i think i'd rather sleep with you in your bed(;
Me 2:47pm - maaybee. but you better watch what you say, i have a boyfriendd <33
Zach 2:49pm - really? :0 will i have to beat him up?
Me 2:50pm - nooo! his name is Parker and he is one of Nate's friends. hes sooo nice.

I closed my phone and slid it back in my pocket. "I think we are gunna head out," Ronnie said when i looked up. "Okay, see you guys later." They nodded and left my room.
