    Chapter II Part II
“Hello,” Dr. Graham bluntly greeted me. I searched his face for any sign of emotion, but found none. He made no eye contact, and he was clearly reading something interesting on his clipboard. “I am Dr. Graham, and I’m just going to take a look, and see how you’re doing.” He continued, with a noticeable amount of enthusiasm.
“He-” My voice broke, so I cleared my throat. “Hello, Dr. Graham.” I said weakly. He looked up from his clipboard, and mumbled something under his breath.
“What’s wrong with me?” I asked, not realizing how hoarse and weak I sounded. Hearing it with my own ears made it sound like someone else, and not me.
He just stared at me… as if it was something I should know. “You just woke up from a minor coma.” He began. His eyes darted from the clipboard, then back to me. “You have a bruised kidney, and you had a major concussion to the head, thus your coma.”
I took it all in. Coma? Concussion? Bruised kidney? It took every fiber of my being not to cry.
“But, how did this happen?” I asked with a shaky voice. The kind of voice that makes your throat ache.
“A very serious car crash.” He replied, almost casually. “Apparently, an 18-wheeler totaled your small Ford.”
My small ford? No. It was Drew’s. “No. There was someone else in the truck with me.” I almost yelled. I bit down on my lip, an old habit of mine, to calm myself. The doctor nodded, in agreement. I raised my eyebrow, growing impatient for a response.
“Yes, we did, in fact find a young man who was also in the car.” He replied, after an almost too long pause.
“And… is he... is he okay?” I could barely bring myself to say it. My heart was pounding in my chest. It was almost so loud, I was sure Dr. Graham, who had now moved from the doorway to my bedside, could hear it.
The doctor looked down. This wasn’t good. “He is still being held in the hospital,” He began, rather slowly. He drew a deep breath, before continuing. “Unfortunately, his chances of surviving are on the slim side.”
His chances are surviving are on the slim side. My long, somewhat relieved breaths became short, quick breaths. Tears that had welled up in my eyes began to roll down my freckled cheeks. I couldn’t live without him. He was my everything. He is my everything. ♥
Feedback? More to come, hopefully tomorrow! :) ♥

    Chapter II Part I
    Beep…. Beep…. Beep… Beep…
My eyes flutter open to brightness. I squint my eyes, until they can adjust to realize I am in a hospital room. My mother is on my left side, clutching my hand for dear life.
“Oh, honey,” She says in a calm almost angelic voice. “Look, honey, she’s awake!” She motions to my dad, who was asleep on the chair in the window sill. They both hover over me, until a Nurse comes and shoos them away.
“You feeling better, sweetie?” She asks in a heavy country accent. It’s almost hard to understand her. I try to nod my head, but I am constricted with IV’s and other wires. “Dr. Graham will be in shortly, dear. It was quite the nasty crash, you got yourself into. You’re very lucky you survived, hon.”
I try to process the thought, but it’s like my brain is covered by a thick looming cloud, and it’s near impossible to think. Suddenly, a jolt of memory seeps through. Drew.
“No, I-I. Where is Drew?” I manage to catch her, before she can leave to go get the Doctor.
She stops in her tracks, and a grim look comes over her. “You shouldn’t worry about that right now, Darlin’. Now, just sit tight, so we can come get the Doctor, okay?” She adds a small smile, to make it seem like there isn’t anything wrong. Obviously there is.
I sit in the empty hospital room, and a feeling of despair coats the desolate cell of a room. They could at least add flowers, or pandas. I think, trying to distract my mind from wondering off, and thinking the worst. Before I can think any more about how bland it is, a middle aged man with grey streaked hair, who I assume is Dr. Graham, comes in.
This is the third addition I have created of imperfection. The other 2 are on my page :) Feel free to give feedback!?

    Chapter I Part II
As we drive down the freeway, guided by the light of the full moon, in his beat up Ford, he outstretches his right arm, and drapes it over my shoulders. It feels so right to be by his side and in his masculine grip. It’s times like these when I truly believe that this isn’t some figment of my imagination.
“So is someone excited about tonight?” He decides to break the silence. I can’t see his face in the eerie glow the moon puts off, but I could imagine him with his signature “Raised eyebrow, half smirk” look.
“You know it.” I reply in a shaky voice. Although I am really and truly excited, I am a bit nervous. It’s not long until I’ll be known as Landrie Simmons-Foster. Or should I cut off Simmons and just be Landrie Foster. Mrs. Foster. Mrs. Landrie Foster. Thoughts overwhelm my mind, and the silence speaks for itself.
“What are you thinking, babe?” He asks in his concerned voice, that sounds just as shaky as mine, as if he too is reassessing his thoughts.
    “Nothing, honestly.” I reply.
I feel his eyes on me in disbelief. He knows me well. We continue driving on the vast strip of road they dare call a “freeway”. The silhouettes of tall pine trees are the only thing in sight, as we climb up a hill. (Which I am surprised his old Ford can make it.)
Just then, as we near the top, a flash of light, and I feel a stabbing pain at the base of my neck. I remember hearing the panicked voice of Drew, and then… blackness.
This is the second part of imperfection ♥ Give me feedback! This is the first story series I have done!

    Chapter I Part I
I knew the first day I saw Drew; I was head over heels crazy in love. His sky blue eyes that made the world just the least bit brighter, his shaggy blonde hair that always looked perfect. He was perfect in every way. It always puzzled me how he could fall in love with someone who is just the opposite; someone who is so imperfect. But it did happen, and tonight, he will profess his love, and drop to one knee, and ask me to become his eternal bride. His soul mate.
But before I go on, I should start from the beginning.
Drew had always been somewhere in my life. Whether it be seeing him at the grocery store, and exchanging greetings, or seeing him at school. He’d just… been there. Of course, Brackenridge was the definition of “Small town USA”, with a total population of 500.
It was in Kindergarten when we actually spoke for the first time, and I remember like it was yesterday.
“Why are your eyes so blue?” I had asked him.
“Because God maked ‘em like this.” He would reply with a twinge of southern charm, and then ask, “Landrie, why are your eyes so green?”
I would just blush in reply.
Then and there, we established some sort of friendship that I can’t actually describe. We were pretty much best friends up until we realized that the other gender didn’t actually have cooties. Then we just slowly drifted out of each other’s life.
Finally, in our Junior year at Brackenridge High, he started to talk to me again. I’m not sure how he managed to get past the millions of splashed freckles that covered my face, or the extremely curly mass of blonde that I call hair, but he did, and our friendship evolved into a relationship. And now, he takes me to dinner at a fancy French restaurant whose name I cannot bring myself to pronounce, to pop me the question. ♥
Should I continue? Please comment and give me feedback if you'd like to hear more from Landrie and Drew! :)
