    Chapter 3
I watched as Chad rubbed his forehead, a blood vein pulsing across it.
"I'm so sorry..." He started, biting his thumb nail and looking up at me, "I dont know what happened... you were..."
I wasnt even listening to his exuses- I didnt give a ** about his stupid exuses.
    He'd hit me.
I felt my arm, the flesh bruise stinging.
I looked down to the floor and felt a tear slip down my face.
"It's okay," I muttered before he hugged me, forgetting my arm was killing.
"Sorry..." He muttered as he let me go and nearly patted it better. I sighed, looking over to the front door. He was leaning against the Grandpa clock in the hallway and I was stood opposite him.
I dont know what'd happened, he'd gotten angry... then... he'd... hit me.
But Chad didnt hit; he was perfect. Kind, hot and gorgeous.
    He was a hitter.
I looked up to him and saw how anxious he looked, this was probably a one off; when you cant handle things anymore and you just explode. I did that sometimes
I looked at him, forgiving him. I dont believe that had just happened.

    Chapter 2
Chad:: Come over to my house at 4:30
Chad has signed out of the conversation
My dad was stood in the kitchen with Michaela handing her the ingredients he needed for the tuna bake he was going to be making.
"I'm going to Chad's house," I called over my shoulder, pulling on my white jacket and stepping outisde. Wind slapped me across my face, slamming the door inside and making everything rustle.
"Close the door!" Dad yelled, realising his papers were flying everywhere.
I apologised and dragged the door closed, feeling the wind batter my back. I walked down the garden path, feeling air run through me even though I was wearing a coat. I turned through Birkedale avenue until I reached Chad's house; it had a stately home cramped into London with it's pale bricks, white windows and white curtains inside.
I liked the garden best, in summer there'd be all the roses in the world (okay- exaggeration) and the grass would be the brightest shade of green but right now it was Febuary.
Cold, rain and wind; they were the ingredients of the weather, you'd be lucky to see any roses.
I opened the gate and forced it against the wind until it shut before walking down the path and knocking on the huge brass knocker. Chad opened it, his features glistening even though the weather was opposite. He had soft brown eyes, curled brunette hair that was turning caramel.
"Hey," He chuckled, opening the door slightly as I walked in.The wind slipped him a goodbye before he closed the door and draped his arm around my shoulder.
"D'you know what time it is?" He breathed into my ear, bending down so I could hear him.
I knew what was coming. I dont know why I fell for it. Again.
"No... why?" I blatantly asked, trying to look past his head to the grandfather clock but we hadnt passed it yet.
    "4:46"
I flicked back to the message. I'd been late. Oh No.
I gulped, feeling his arm tighten around my shoulders, making it harder forme to breath.
    "You were late,"

    Chapter 1
I sat up in my bed, feeling the wind whip against the window, making it shake.
I stood up and stretched, feeling my muscles and my back. My phone was on my desk, blinking at me.
Minnie:: OMG!! Have you heard?? Mick was seen with Joanna last night! What should I do??
Minnie has signed out of the mailing system
I sighed, setting my phone back down and picking up my hairbrush. All the texts I ever got were about guys or parties I had to go to. I did go to.
I started running my brush through my platinum blonde hair, locking my green eyes onto my reflection. I had pale skin, which matched with my hair, tiny freckles you only noticed if you looked closely and pale lips. Everything about me was pale.
    Appart from my life.
I sighed, tying my hair into a messy bun before picking up my phone and replying to Minnie's text.
Tee:: Tell him it's over- cheating on you was the worst decision he could've ever made, and that he doesnt deserve a girl like you x
Tee had signed out of the conversation
I bit my lip, the message sending. Maybe that'd been a little bit too strong- this area of London was really posh and everybody was blanched out, no strong personalities. I looked back up to my mirror, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear and focusing straight into my eyes.
People could tell the truth from your eyes, when you were lying or not. Right now I wanted to know if I was making the right decision- living this life was hard, trying to please mom and dad's idea of what a daughter should be like.
Mom was tomboy and dad was girly.
I was... I dont even know what I was, I'd been moulding myself for them I'd forgotten about my own feelings.

    Chapter 1
I'm Vicky, the good girl. The loved girl.
    The Mad girl.
I'm living a double life and it isnt as fun as Hanna Montana makes it.
My mom thinks I like to be called Vikki, the tomboy who prefers mud to baking but my dad thinks I'm Tori, the kind, beautiful sweetheart who has the perfect guy.
I'm in love with one guy, and that one guy isnt who they think I'm into...
    Brad...

    Chapter 2
I bit my lip as I opened the laptop, turning onto facebook. I could feel the hair on the back of my neck start to slide up.
I didnt believe in life after death; they didnt live on after in reality but I think they lived on in our hearts and minds.
    "Eliza..."
I felt the blood run through my veins and down into my heart, which was now throbbing against my ribcage. I didnt believe in life after death, I just didnt want to turn around just in case it was... something...
I felt my ears throb, my mind slowly remembering who's voice that was.
"Em?" I asked, feeling annoyed. How could I get scared by something like that?
I turned around, my heart jittering against my skin.
"She didnt leave anything like a note, she's just gone,"
I rolled my eyes, feeling myself pulse into anger.
"For ** sake, come on," I muttered, shutting my laptop, grabbing my phone and walking downstairs. I could hear her behind me but her steps were faint, like litle baby steps running down tha hallway.
    "Where're we going?"
    "To the supermarket,"
    "Why?"
"We're going to meet mom there, so that you calm down and we can get things over with," I ordered over my shoulder, grabbing my combat boots and jacket.
"Why can't we just call her?" she asked, grabbing her trainers and her duffel coat, following me, "It's more practical,"
I would've prefered to call her but I could feel something wasnt right; the way the air settles around me. The way every shadow slid into my view, like it could suddenly move.
    Like there was a ghost.

    Chapter 1
I sat on my bed, flicking through all the pictures on my phone. My room was halfway between twighlight, the garden lights hung from my ceiling around the main light. There was pale blue wallpaper with gold chrysantheum patterns, my desk filled with papers and books and my wooden flooring. My bed was a king sized and there was my walk -in-wardrobe down next to it.
    "Eliza?"
I looked up to Emily stood in my doorway, she was holding a cup in one hand. I locked my phone, the smell of coffee and smoke wafting into my room.
"Em, close the door- you're making it stink," I muttered.
She closed the door and leaned against it, taking a sip of her coffee.
Emily had long caramel hair which curled at the ends, she also had the tanned skin I had and big green eyes. She had thin arms and legs and all her clothes hung off her but in a nice way.
    "Where's mom?"
    I raised my eyebrows.
    "Downstairs?"
She looked downstiars, through my floorboards, and shook her head, "She wasnt there when I checked,"
I shrugged, feeling a cold draught skim my skin. I unlocked my phone and started texting Gemma again, ignoring the worried look I got from Em. She worried too much; she had mild paranoia.
"She didnt tell you she was going out, and dad's not home either..."
I looked up, annoyance throbbing at the tips of my typing thumbs, "Will you shut up, go downstairs and leave me alone- mom's going to be back later,"
I sighed, watching as she shut the door and hearing the floorboards outside creak from her weight. I set my phone down onto the bed space next to me, slipping onto my feet and over to my desk.
I took out my laptop and was about to start typing when something caught my eye.
    I shivered.
