Mismatch
Chapter 1
I sat up in my bed, feeling the wind
whip against the window, making it shake.
I stood up and stretched, feeling my muscles and my back. My
phone was on my desk, blinking at me.
Minnie:: OMG!! Have you heard?? Mick was seen with Joanna
last night! What should I do??
Minnie has signed out of the mailing system
I sighed, setting my phone back down and picking up my hairbrush.
All the texts I ever got were about guys or parties I had to go
to. I did go to.
I started running my brush through my platinum blonde hair,
locking my green eyes onto my reflection. I had pale skin, which
matched with my hair, tiny freckles you only noticed if you
looked closely and pale lips. Everything about me was pale.
Appart from my life.
I sighed, tying my hair into a messy bun before picking up my
phone and replying to Minnie's text.
Tee:: Tell him it's over- cheating on you was the worst
decision he could've ever made, and that he doesnt deserve a
girl like you x
Tee had signed out of the conversation
I bit my lip, the message sending. Maybe that'd been a little
bit too strong- this area of London was really posh and everybody
was blanched out, no strong personalities. I looked back up to my
mirror, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear and focusing
straight into my eyes.
People could tell the truth from your eyes, when you were lying
or not. Right now I wanted to know if I was making the right
decision- living this life was hard, trying to please mom
and dad's idea of what a daughter should be
like.
Mom was tomboy and dad was girly.
I was... I dont even know what I was, I'd been
moulding myself for them I'd forgotten about my own
feelings.
