Maybe,
/i/do/cheer/
maybe i do wear my hair down almost everyday,
maybe i do wear designer clothes,
maybe i am the thinnest
and the most beautiful
and the one guys always want.
What if i am that person that everyone
talks about in their quotes ?
who has the right to say im p.e.r.f.e.c.t,
Cause trufuly im not,
i may get what other people want to look like and have
but sometimes i just want that one guy
to_love_me_for_me, not for what i wear or how i look.
i want things to be simple and i dont want to be the skinniest.
i want friends who want to be my friend not
just for the money my parents have.
those girls who just don't care
what people think of them, i look at and
see how our life's aren't even close to the same.
and i realize how every thing that they have will be perfect
when the right time comes,
and sometimes i wish my life was different.
so as you can see im far from perfect.

and as we walked holding hands he asked,
"what have you always wanted?" i thought about this for a
second and then said, "to be kissed in the pouring rain
in the middle of the street." all he did was smile and said
nothing. i wondered if i told him this before, but wasnt
sure. as we walked in silence we heard a rumble. then it
happen again and it began to rain. suddenly he grabed
me and pulled me into the middle of the street. he put his
hands on my waist and looked me straight in the eyes.
we stood there for a few seconds and then he leaned in
and kissed me. it was the kiss i always wanted and it was
amazing. then he leaned back so he could see my whole
face. i know i had a mile long smile on my face. he smiled
right back and whispered, "i hope thats exactly what you
wanted." i didnt say anything back. instead i put my arms
around his neck and kissed him again..
100% mine. dont jock please.

and guess whatt.?! when i got to school
he said you look nice. he explained,
every girl in this grade is
straightening their hair every day
and looking good. i was waiting for
that one girl who didnt care so
much about what people think of her.

i want to be the girl
who he thinks is the cutest; not necessarily the
hottest or prettiest, but the cutest, because
hottness refers to the body,
and god knows mine isn't perfect.
pretty refers to the face
i know plenty of girls prettier than me;
but cuteness is refering to every
imperfection
that he loves. every weird little habit.
the funny little things that make me different
from any other girl he could have.
like how dorky i laugh, or i can't watch gory
movies, or the way my hair smells.
all of the little things he notices and adores.
i want to be that girl

On the Last Day Of School,
I was in my B period class when my
teacher asked for the classes attention
and pulled out a mint $20 bill.
"Who would want this $20 bill?" she asked us.
Everybody raised their hands and all commented,
saying, "sure, why not?"
My teacher nodded, then crinkled up the bill.
"Would you still want this after I crinkled it?"
Everybody had the same answers: yes, of course.

My classmates looked at each other and nodded.

you will go slightly out of your way to step on a crunchy looking leaf.

you hate hearing your voice in recordings.

sitting home in her bed, arms held tight around the teddy bear that he gave her
she crying her eyes out, black tears running down her face
everything they shared,
their first kiss, every dance, every touch, every day,

he didn't care about any of it, according to what she heard him say.

out with all his friends, just like every other friday night

even though on the inside, his heart is shattered
