"Distance is not for the fearful, it's for the bold. Those who know a good thing when they see it, even if they don't see it nearly enough."
The thing about life is, once you think you've hit rock bottom and there's no way out, there's always someone to save you. Someone, who you can just look at and your whole mood changes. Whether they are the person who put you in a bad mood or not, they are the reason you get a better mood, just by them doing the smallest things. A simple text, a cute little smile, or repeating an inside joke. When you find this person, I advise you to never let them go. If they make a mistake, forgive them. They aren't perfect, and you aren't either. They know what they did to hurt you, so don't hold it against them. I believe that is what love is. Love is finding the person who completes you. Your other half. It's not about them being able to keep you happy when you are together. It's about them being able to be hundreds of miles and still keep you smiling. It's about being able to fight, but then apologize and put it in the past. It's about worrying about their happiness more than your own. It's the excitement of seeing each other after months of anticipation, of waiting. It's the energy that runs through your veins as you get to see each other. It's about the tears that fall when they have to leave. The more miles in between you two, the more you spend every moment you are together, knowing that your time is limited. You learn to appreciate what you have when it's in front of you, because you don't know when you will see it again. Distance gives a whole new meaning to the saying, "Live every day like it's your last." To a lot of people, that may not sound like love, but to us, it is. We are just two teenagers, who are lucky enough to fall in love with our best friend. <3
