Someone asked me how it feels for a guy to fall in love...
guys dont get it easy like girls, we dont have a funny feeling in our stomach’s like butterflies. it feels as if our insides are going to explode. you’re constantly on our minds 24/7 and deep within our subconscious mind. when we see your name light up on our messages or on our phones, we simply have no way of containing our excitement. even if we’re with our “boys” we smile as big as we can; if even for a second then we have to try to “play it cool”. every time that we get a text from you we read it over 1000 times before we start typing what to reply to you, and as we start typing out the words that we want to say to you we double, triple check… then we delete it. and it starts all over again until we think that we got it right. even then; after we send the text that we slaved over… we think of something better to say. we have fallen in love when you’re the last thing that we think about, the way you smile when we compliment you, the way you dress, and the sparkle in your eyes. those are the types of things that we fall asleep to. and when we do fall asleep we hope that when we wake up in the morning that we see your name light up on out phone screen. when we see a happy couple, thoughts of you come immediately into our minds and imagine that that happy couple could be us. we remember your every detail, the things that you hate most about yourself is what we love the most. but most importantly, when a guy falls in love with a girl; he will do anything to win her over, he will travel to the ends of the world just to show you that he loves you.
