After Midnight
Chapter:1
I slugged against the wall waiting for my boyfriend, Zane. We were best friends and the story is pretty long, and saddening. But my friends told me keeping a diary would help. So here I am. The story really started one night when me and Zane were having on of our secret meetings after midnight.
Zane slugged against the wall, looking for me, obviously. When he saw me, he ran up and hugged me from behind. He always did that, and he always called me his lover, his wife, his girl and anything else you might call a girlfriend. But, we weren't dating. We were best friends, and we couldn't exactly date. My parents--for some reason-- didn't like him. So I kept my feelings back.
After hugging me, he whispered "Lover, I see you made it."
I laughed "Don't I always?"
He looked around and pulled out his phone, smiling, "You'll never believe what happened today!!"
I got pretty nervous,"N-n-no what happened?" I asked him.
He smiled. "Liliana asked me out! Isn't that great!!??"
I smiled, although inside I was dying. "Awesome!!" I yelled back, and we hugged again. And somehow I knew this hug would be our last.
Liliana was the priss of 9th grade, and although now that I look back at it--Me being 19 now-- I see that all she ever wanted was happiness and someone to love her even though on the outside she was a horrid women. But, anyways, she was always making people turn on their friends, stealing peoples' boyfriends/crushs' and always, ALWAYS talking to mah main man, Zane. And he liked her, unfortunatly.
So, as I sat there hugging him, I silently cried into his shoulder, and felt my heart crack open.
And each day that followed after that--For a while, anyway-- felt like it was ripping more, and more open with each time I saw him
