Aw, that's kind of sad, but not in a bad way. He's probably just scared of his feelings, just as any other guy would be. I'm not really sure what to say, don't really have any thoughts, but there's one thing I know for sure- don't beat yourself up for this. It's his fault, he lead you on, and you told him how you felt at just the wrong time. Maybe he just wasn't ready, but it's not your fault.
