Chapter 2:
As soon as Erin's mom stops the car all three of us jump out. Jake pulls me aside and asks, "Hey does Erin have an eye problem? She kept fluttering them. It was weird". I laughed and said "Na... She just does that".
"Oh... Alright, next time I'm with you guys can you tell her to not do that. It's a little weird", Jake says.
"Alright", I say still laughing. I think to my self 'Oh Erin, what a flirt'.
"Hey Ari", Kari called out.
"Hey Kari, what's up?", I ask.
"Nothing really, spying on some cutes guys over by the front steps", She laughs. I look over and see my brother (Eckk), with the guy of my dreams. Ricky. Ricky is a Freshman too, but he usually hangs out with upper-classmen and me! He has the deepest blue eyes and swoosh-iest brown hair. Ricky is my best guy friend&the love of my life(that part he doesn't know.. yet).
"Hey Ari, come over here", Ricky says, with his amazing voice.
"Haha, kay", I say. I walk over to were he is and smile. I try my best to act pretty chill around him.
"Your brother is pretty awesome, Ar. Why didn't you tell me he was on the football team", Ricky says showing me his to die for smile.
"He's on the what?", I say.
"Football team", Ricky repeats.
"Umm.. What in the world are you ta--....", I say before Jake cuts me off.
"You know I'm trying out this year Arianna, Haha", He laughs nervously.
"Oh yeah, well good luck. Try not to get killed", I say.
"Ari, do you think I should try out for football?", Ricky says.
"Sure, why not?", I say.
"Well.. I don't know it seems like there are so many good football players here", Ricky says.
"Yeah, not including my brother", I laugh.
"Hahaha yea, you should try out for cheerleading", Ricky smiles.
"Umm.. Have you met me? I'm the most un-graceful thing ever&&I do not like those skirts. They are so... showy", I say.
"Yeah, but you'd look good in one", Ricky says. Ah.. there he goes again. Complimenting me.
"Totally, my thunder-thighs will look so hot in the mini-skirt", I say sarcastically. I know I'm not the skinniest girl out there, but I know I am not over weight. I'm the perfect size for my height and age.
"Mmm... Totally. I love your thunder-thighs", He says sarcastically.
"Haha, come on we better get going, we don't want to be late to our first class", I say. Ricky and I have almost all of our classes together, except he is taking Shop class while I take Journalism.
"Ah, what a goody-good", Ricky teases me. I punch him in the arm playfully, he turns and gives me a huge hug.
"I missed you this summer Ar", He says.
