I love you but..Chapter 1I sat in my room silently weeping to myself. I new he didn’t love me. I knew everything he said was a lie. Yet I believed it all. I should have listened to Hayden she knows best. I closed my eyes, as I sat on my bed a tear ran down my cheek. And the images ran threw my head, over and over. It all happened so fast.“Harmonie, I have to tell you something.” Leeroy looked at me, I could tell something wasn’t right.“Lee I’m sure it can wait.” I went to kiss him but he turned away.“I don’t think there should be a ‘us’ anymore..” He wouldn’t even look at me. I froze.“What… what do you mean.” My voice broke. “A us Harmonie I love you, but I mean.. I been spending time with this other girl.. And I, started to fall in love with her too..” Leeroy got up and put his jacket on. And with out another word he left the restaurant we had been. I sat there, shocked, and heart broken.I took another piece of cookie dough from the package of cookies. Turning up my music loud so no one could hear my muffled cries. ~ The next morning I woke up to my alarm clock screaming into my ear. I hit snooze and got out of my large bed and walked into my bathroom. I looked in the mirror. My eyes were red and puffy, and my long black hair was frizzy and messy. I turned on the shower and hopped in. The warm water refreshed me. I forgot about everything for a moment. I got out of the shower and bushed my long curly black hair, and blow dried it until it was all dry. I got my flat iron out and turned it on. I looked at myself again. My large blue eyes were no longer puffy and red. I applied a little bit of mascara and started to run the flat iron threw my thick hair. Once I was done I threw on skinny jeans a sweater shirt and my boots. I walked down the stairs and grabbed a water from the fridge then started to walk to school. I would have had a ride if I was still with Leeroy. I thought to myself as tears formed in my eyes. But I blinked them away. I was stronger then that. I walked down the crooked side walk listening to the pitter patter of my feet… And someone else’s? I turned around to see my best guy friend Chance running after me.“Harmonie!” He smiled it crooked smile as his ashy blonde hair blew back in the cold winter wind.“Chance.” I almost whispered but added a smile on the end to soften it up.“What’s wrong..” Chance looked at me with worry in his light grey eyes. I felt tears burning in my eyes but again blinked them away..“Leeroy.. And I.. we broke up..” I sighed softly as a tear slid down my cheek, the wind blew, almost completely drying it. Chance wrapped his arm around me. I knew he felt awkward, he smells woodsy and lemony, it comforted me. I sighed and closed my eyes slowly. “Lets head to school.” Chance almost whispered.I looked at him his large grey eyes got smaller as she smiled shyly at me. The tiny freckles on his nose made me smile. He walked beside me. I listened to his feet hitting the ground softly. He always drug his feet.“Chance?” I said quietly. “Yeah Harmonie?” His eyes beamed at me.“What are you doing tonight?” I said looking down at my feet.“Probably nothing. We should go see Christmas lights,” He paused, “I’ll drive.” He smiled, looking at me.“So it’s a deal?” He broke the quite moment.“Of course.” I laughed. Chance had made me forget all about Leeroy..
