MY UNCLE IS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST PEOPLE I KNOW
He was in a REALLY bad car crash years ago, and now he can't smile because he is partially paralyzed.
He told me, because of this, he does his absolute best to make other people smile, because he can't.

MY BROTHER IS ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR FRESHMEN AT HIS SCHOOL
linebacker for freshmen football
gets all the girls
on the JV baseball team
high school is his kingdom
...yet he chooses to hang out with the "nerd" who is in all AP classes, spends all night studying, and has been his best friend and since 2nd grade.

i havent seen my best friend in probably over a year, but I've never questioned our friendship.

My brother is my hero
he broke his leg during his first football game of the season (just two weeks before his first day of high school)...
*when the paramedics were taking him off the field on a gurney, he gave the crowd a thumbs up and everyone cheered.
* when they were done putting on the cast he said "so i'll be able to play in next weeks game right?"
*He was more concerned about letting his team down, then the fact he had a spiral fracture of the tibia and fibula.
* After his surgery (they inserted a 9 inch metal plate in his leg) he didn't cry, he didn't complain. They first thing he said was "will i beep when i go to the airport?"
*He never stopped apologizing when i would get him his clothes from upstairs, or help him with anything else.
* The day after he broke his leg, he refused to stay home and relax. He went to his high school and watched the game footage with the team. When he walked in the room, everyone started clapping.
* He didn't miss one game all season. He sat on the sidelines and cheered the team on.
*Everyday he did 500 sit-ups and 300 1 legged pushups
* The day of his homecoming, he walked for the first time since his accident. His girlfriend couldn't of been happier.
*He was able to play in the last play of the last game of the season.
*His physical therapist said he had the fasted recovery he has seen for a spiral fracture
if you read all of this, thank you SO much! next time you see someone with a cast from their ankle to thigh in the mall, ask if they need help. my brother had such trouble with maneuvering through stores. Having a broken leg is harder then you would think.

in fifth grade i had a best friend named Jack...
i told my mom that Jack "asked out" my friend Olivia. my mom said to me "Jack seems like the kind of boy that would "go out" with anyone"
fast forward to eighth grade...
Jack ended up being my first boyfriend, I broke up with him after about a month because i found out
mommy was right...
