Vent.
I was in Geometry class today, and I was talking to my friend,and he was joking around with me.
He was like "Why don't you just kill yourself."
Everything inside me froze.
I was like"What... What did you say to me?" My eyes instantly filled up.
He said "It was just a joke.."
I said "You can't joke about that stuff. Look at me when I'm talking to you. I knew people who had killed themselves. How do you feel now?"
He laughed and then my teacher pulled him outside the class room and yelled at him.
I went to the bathroom and just cried for five minutes.
Why?
Because of the people who have killed themselves,
And because the second he said that, I went back to me being 15 and the first boy I ever loved looking into my eyes and telling me to seriously kill myself.
Everyday. For two months.
I got back to the class room and wasn't done crying.
I went to the guidance office and told my councilor what Robert use to say to me and how he treated me.
I can honestly say I feel better.
I talked to my teacher after school about what my friend had said.
She told me next time I can flip out on him and yell at him and "Drop the 'f' bomb." :P

Chapter 1
"Jeez Paige where have you been? Let's go.", my 14 year old brother Sean asked as I got into my car.
"Well hello to you too, my day was great, how was yours?"
"Paige you aren't funny. Come on let's just go home."
"Yeeesh, what crawled up your butt? Has he been like this all day?", I asked my younger sister Sara, Sean's brother, who was sitting in the back with her best friend Jenna.
"Pretty much," Sara said, with Jenna nodding in agreement.
"Oh my gosh you're all so annoying. Put the car in drive and let's go."
"Not until you tell me what the heck is wrong!", I said, putting my car in park.
"Nothing is wrong I just wanna go home, I have plans later and need to get ready!!"
"Wait, plans, like, with a girl??"
"Yeah and Tyler and his girlfriend."
"Aww da baby brother is goin on a date!!", I said giggling, putting the car in drive again.
"At least I have a life..unlike others," he said, looking back at Sara and Jenna.
"Um we have lives, Chris and Mike are coming over tonight!"
"Ooh popular. And what about you Paige, what are your cool plans tonight?"
"I'm going out with Skylar obvi..oh shoot, I have to pick her up on the way home and we have to stop to go tanning real quick."
"PAIGE I NEED TO GO HOME!!" I ignored him and drove to my best friends house.
"Where do you and Sky always go?"
"Matt's lakehouse, usually. Sometimes Kyle's, and other times Ryan's house when his parents aren't home."
"Wait..Matt Evans? His lakehouse? You go there every weekend?"
"Yes.." Sara and Jenna began squealing, Sean covered his ears and I would have too if I wasn't driving.
"What the heck?", Sean asked, irritated, once they were done.
"He is SO hot. Oh my gosh..and like, everyone talks about his parties. They're like, supposed to be the coolest ones ever. You go to them Paige?"
"He's been my best friend for forever..so yes."
"Paige oh my gosh can we come? Is there one tonight? Can we please come Paige?"
"Dude that'd be sick..yo Paige will you bring me and Tyler too?"
"Please Paige oh my gosh."
"Hahaha you guys are too cute."
"WHY?"
"You're freshman. I'm a junior. Juniors and seniors go to Matt's parties. Older boys. That's all the parties are. It's like a bunch of senior and junior guys and then me, Sky, and sometimes Katie and Julie."
"SO?????"
"So everyone gets high as the sky and so drunk they can't remember their own name..you guys are not ready for that. At all."
"Paige why not you and Skylar went to parties when you were both freshmen!"
"Yeah but we were really good friends with the juniors and they liked us..you don't know any of these guys."
"PAIGE PLEASE?", they all started screaming. I slammed on my breaks in front of Sky's house and honked my horn exactly 8 times so she would know it's me. I needed her for this decision, it was too big for me to handle on my own.

I knew it wasn’t possible. I’d heard about reincarnation but never believed it to be true. My father was a professor who studied in ancient greek mythology. He said that he believed that you could bring back people from the dead.
I hobbled my way back to the dorm looking back for Brett. He had disappeared behind the school and was no where in sight. I hadn’t looked for a guy since the day Lucas died. Casey took one look at me and knew something was wrong. I never act depressed or gloomy and she knew just from her eyes grazing me. “Oh Logan. What happened?” She sympathized.
I tried to speak but whenI opened my mouth a small sob slithered out. I can’t believe I could be so foolish. All of the agony form the morning of the passing came rushing back and I crumpled into a pit of tears and sorrow. Casey was there with tissues and a dry shoulder. I had never told anyone what happened that day. How he fell and I couldn’t save him. It was time, to tell her.
“ You remember 3 years back when the boy appeared missing. Well, I was there when he died. His named was Lucas and I had been dating him. I loved him with all my heart. He and I had known each other forever. He was my first kiss and my last. He was my friend since kindergarden and he and I were inseparable. We had done everything together. Then the summer of Junior year came. We still were never found without each other. So on my birthday he surprised me with a trip to the Grand Canyon. He brought a romantic picnic and we laid down on top of the canyon. We sat for hours talking about everything. Then we bundled up the blankets and I lead the way down. I walked a couple yards when I realized no one was following me. I turned and my breath caught in my throat. There was Lucas with his blonde shaggy hair and emerald eyes down on one knee. In his hand was the most beautiful ring I’d ever seen. I ran into his arms sobbed. I said yes about a million times. I had never been happier. Then I saw a shadow behind him. I didn’t care what it was until it got closer. It was my uncle. He was drunk and came searching for me. “What’s this? Get your hands off of her.” his word slurred together.
“No.....” I stammered but before I could explain he took Lucas and threw him down. Lucas tried to defend himself but Uncle Will was too strong.” Sobs came with each word and Casey’s arm tightened around my shoulders. “ He threw him off the canyon. Then jumped after him. I will never forget his face falling into abyss. He was my love. My happiest day turned into my worst in a split second. The worst part was the being helpless.”
