    Hello, my very few followers^.^
About my story... it's pretty clear I haven't posted the next chapter. The reason for that is because I'm just not a good writer. I wanted to try something new so I figured, why not write a story? but now I know why I shouldn't. They just aren't that good. There are plently of other better stories out there for you guys to read, and I'm sorry to leave so soon. But I'm just not getting where I hoped I would. Writing obviously isn't my thing. So go enjoy somebody else's story instead, it's worth much more of your time. That's what I'll be doing also. I'd much rather read other people's stories than sit here and write my own story that turns out to be awful compared to their's. Again, I'm sorry to have wasted your time with my boring story, and with this pointless message. Goodbye:)

Life, As You Don't Know It.
    Chapter Two
Saturday, the day of the party.
That morning after her shower wrapped in her towel, Jaycee was going through her new clothes trying to find a casual, but slightly dressy outfit for the party.
She decided to wear her white shirt that had a black, polka dot collar, black jeggings, and white toms.

She decided to do her makeup a bit more natural; only a thin line of eyeliner, brown eyeshadow, and a couple layers of mascara.
It's was 1:00pm when she had gotten to Landon's house.
Nobody else was there yet, not even Tina.
Landon invited Jaycee inside. The house was silent. Nobody else was home.
"Would you like something to eat?" Landon offered.
"No, thank you." Jaycee answered slowly.
They both sat on the couch to watch t.v. while waiting for the others to get there. About an hour later, a pink car drove up to Landon's house.
It was Tina. They went outside to welcome her in.
Tina wasn't very happy to see Jaycee there before her.
"What are you doing here?" she said, with a disgusted look on her face.
"Oh, I came over a little earlier. I didn't know when the party started." Jaycee answered.
Tina just rolled her eyes and turned to Landon.
"I brought the beer. Wanna help me carry it inside?" Tina said.
Without saying anything, Landon went to Tina's car and carried in a couple cases.
Tina stayed outside, talking to someone on the phone.
"So, how many people are coming?" Jaycee asked Landon, as they walked inside.
"Just a few," he told her, hesitantly. "beer?" he asked, handing her a bottle.
"Uh, sure.." said Jaycee, taking the bottle and having a sip.
The taste was awful. She tried to drink it down.
"Have you ever drank before?" Landon asked. "Well... no. My grandmother died because of drinking. She drank too much and killed herself. I told myself I wouldn't drink because of her." Jaycee explained.
"I'm sorry." Landon said, feeling regret for asking.
"It's okay." Jaycee said, giving him a small, weak smile.
Tina then walked inside, with a small crowd of other people behind her.
Two of them Jaycee noticed from the bathroom the other day.
They gave her a glare as they walked to the kitchen to get a beer.
One of them came out with an empty bottle.
"Spin the bottle, anyone?" She said to the group of people in the living room, surrounding Landon.
Everyone made a circle and the girl with the bottle gave it to Landon.
"Here, you spin it first." He took the bottle and spun it.
It landed on Jaycee. She looked up at the group, feeling her face get red.
Someone whispered to Jaycee, "Don't worry, Tina's still in the kitchen."
A little unsure about the whole situation, she decided to kiss Landon anyway.
At that moment, Tina walked out of the kitchen with her other friend.
She stopped in the doorway of the living room, and threw her bottle on the ground.
She walked over to the group. "You need to leave this party, right now." Tina told Jaycee.
Without a word, Jaycee got up and walked to the door.
"You don't have to leave." Landon said. Jaycee ignored him and kept walking.
There was no way she was staying at this party after being called out like that.
Tina opened the door for Jaycee, and whispered one last thing before she left.
"I warned you, not to get between us. So I promise you, you'll regret this."
Chapter 2 is here! :) Hope you like it. Honestly, I don't know where I'm going with this story, I'm kinda just writing whatever and hoping for the best. But thank you for reading, and I'll post chapter 3 as soon as possible!

Life, As You Don't Know It.
    Chapter One
    A week later
It was Jaycee's first day at her new school.
She never had an easy time making friends, and on top of that, she felt uncomfortable in her new clothing.
    And, she was late.
She went to the front lobby of her new high school, and asked where she was suppose to go.
Her new principal showed her to her classroom.
Math first thing in the morning; one of the only subjects Jaycee was good at.
She walked into the classroom and took a seat in the back of the room in the corner, behind a boy with shaggy, dark brown hair.
To her right, was a rich-looking girl, with straight blonde hair.
Jaycee could feel the rich girl's stare, almost like it was burning into her skin.
Jaycee avoided her and focused on her work.
The boy in front of Jaycee turned around.
"Hey, you're the new girl. I'm Landon." he said, smiling.
    "I'm Jaycee."
"It must be hard, moving to a new school and all. So uh, me and some friends are having a party this weekend. Do you want to come?"
"Sure, sounds fun." Jaycee said, excited that something good finally happened since her time in California.
"Great. Here's my address. It's on Saturday, come over anytime." Landon said, ripping a piece of paper from his notebook.
    Jaycee nodded.
"Landon, what are you doing, inviting that girl to our party? There's no way she'll fit in." the rich girl said to him.
"Tina, she's new, give her a break." Landon whispered.
Tina rolled her eyes and looked over at Jaycee.
"Listen," she said, "Landon, he's my boyfriend. And if you get between us, I promise, I'll make you regret it."
    Jaycee just shrugged it off.
Before she knew it, it was time for lunch.
She slowly walked around the cafeteria, looking for somewhere to sit.
She saw Landon, and decided to sit there.
    Next to him, was Tina.
She was all over Landon, purposely trying to make Jaycee jealous.
Lunch seemed like forever to Jaycee.
After that, she went to the bathroom, only to find Tina there too, whispering with two of her friends.
They turned to face Jaycee as she walked in, and immediately went silent.
"Excuse me," Tina said, shoving Jaycee as she walked out, her little posse following.
At the end of the day, Jaycee got in her mom's car that was waiting at the front of the school.
"So? How'd it go? Make any new friends?" she asked.
"Yeah. I'm going to a party Saturday." Jaycee said.
So, this is the next chapter(: Hope you guys like it! feedback is always helpful! ^.^ And if you have any ideas, let me know. If you would like a reminder on when the next chapter is up, comment on my profile.

Life, As You Don't Know It.
    Prologue
Jaycee had grown up in the small, country state of Kentucky her entire life.
At the age of 9, her parents filed a divorce.
She stayed in Kentucky with her dad until she was 15. That's when the real tragedy struck.
On the 27th of April, he died in a car accident.
Jaycee was then forced to move all the way across the United States to live with her mother in California.
She hadn't seen or heard from her mom the whole 6 years they were away from each other. But she was the only thing Jaycee had left.
Everything in California was completely different from her country home back in Kentucky.
She pulled up to her mother's house, which was quite large, compared to her old house.
Her mom showed her around the house and brought her to her room.
"Tomorrow, how about we go out to do some shopping for some new clothes?" she said.
"I'm not up for it." said Jaycee.
"Well, whenever you're ready. You start school in a week."
Great, Jaycee thought. First dad, now a new school, new people. Nothing ever gets better.
I know it's short, but feedback would be appreciated! :) Thank you for reading, next chapter will be up as soon as I can post!
