   “CLUNK”, I winced by how hard I slammed the door. I looked at my mom, who was getting ready to drive away. She gave me a sad smile, obviously in response to my door-slamming-jitteriness. She mouthed “You’ll do fine”, before waving and driving away, leaving me alone in front of those frightening doors.
   I turned to face the doors. Sighing, I stepped forward.
   “Hello, High School.”
   Taking in one last breath of fresh air, I grabbed the handle, and opened the door…
   **Just expressing my jitteriness towards the start of high school… even though I spent the afternoon here everyday last year… it’s different this time. This time, I’m actually a part of high school…**

   There is this older boy that my mom keeps telling me I should hook up with.
   My sister and I had to spend 10 minutes explaining what “hooking up” meant to her.
