I totally agree with you. I never said I wanted to be depressed when I was younger, I never thought I would selfharm. But now I am almost 2 years clean from cutting, its not like I don't want to cut but I just learned how to fight my depression. Another thing it took me forever to learn to love myself. This quote really spoke to me and I hope it did the same to others.

this is very true. I used to cut, and one day at softball practice my friends were making fun of people who cut. I had fresh cuts on my wrist, I went into the dugout and cried because they had no idea what I was going through and had no clue of how much of what they were saying was hurting me. I hate it when people joke about any of that stuff.

When I was in 5th grade my sister was my parents life, so i started to cut myself. My parents treat my sister like she is gold and Im like dirt. After 6th grade ended and i was still hurting myself, 7th grade came along and i met the most amazing guy (or so i thought was the most amazing guy ever) he didnt know about my problems or anything until one day he told me everything about him and his life. He asked me if I was hiding anything from him. I told him everything, later that month he broke up with me. It wasnt that bad for me, at that point. 8th grade came along and I was with a new guy and I dated this guy for over a year and I loved him with all my heart. Well lets cut this short and say after a year he cheated on me with two girls, I dated him again (not knowing about the other girls) and broke up with me because of some personal reasons I found out he cheated on me. And during that whole time that second time we dated he had another girlfriend. (he went to another school) Now there is this most amazing guy who I love with all my heart I have never felt like this before. I have been a month free of cutting because of him. (Also I get bullied everyday because of my scars)
