chapterTWELVE.
Really proud of myself, I've been writing more regularly;)
Oooh yeah, I'm starting a new thing! If I can get enough faves on this chapter, I'll give you a hint on what's going to happen in the next one on whoever faves' profile;) This time, I want 10 faves;)
I sat in the main room with Mum and Tee, as Dad had to go to work today. Tiana sat rubbing her stomach, which was slowly inflating to an irregular size; well, a size normal for a pregnant person. She stared at the new ring that had been stuck to her finger since last Monday, the day that her boyfriend of 7 years, Charlie, proposed to her. She kept gushing about how perfect he was, and that they'd always be together. I believed her completely, because Charlie treated her like a princess. "Charlie got the baby a little cot yesterday, we're gonna decorate it when we find out the gender of the baby." "Aww, he or she should be a mystery baby." I said, wanting it to be a surprise. "Naaah, we need to buy clothes and stuff in advance, innit?" I walked out of the room to do my hourly check on Beth, who was still sitting in her room blasting One Direction. "Bethany Jade, come out please." I begged. "What, just so I can see my whole family crying? No thanks." she said, obviously annoyed. "Come on, Tee really wants to see you." "Well, why can't she come up herself? She's not in the same state as Lise." I tried opening the door, but it was locked. "For God's sakes Beth, come out." I shouted, getting pssed at her. "You're being really extra." I regretted what I said right then; how was I meant to know what it was like to lose your twin sister? "Oh my God Beth, I am so sorry." Beth opened the door, tears welling up in her eyes. "You're not going through what I'm going through, are you?" she screamed, and slammed the door in my face. Well, I totally deserved that.
"What day is it Mum?" I asked as I walked downstairs. "Erm... I'm not sure darling," she replied, looking puzzled. "Its Saturday, beauts." Tee said, smiling. "Why you in such a good mood?" I asked, curious at why she had such a big smile on her face. "Just thinking of my Charlie," she beamed, "he's coming round for dinner and to check on our baby Bethany." Mum loved Charlie. She respected him so much because of the way he always took care of Tiana. When our grandad died when she was fifteen, he came to check on her everyday to comfort her. Then, when she broke her leg, he was at the hospital whenever it was visting hours. He wouldn't leave her side, no matter what the nurses said. He replied everytime: "My girlfriend is sitting here in pain, and you really expect me to leave her bedside? Haha, very funny but I don't think so." It was only when the nurses literaly dragged him out of the ward that he softened up and only came when needed.
The door went, and Tee ran straight to it. "CHARLIE MY BABYYYYY!" she screamed, evidently happy that he was here. "Hey beautiful, how you and the baby doing?" he laughed, holding her hand as they both walked in. He patted her stomach, then kissed it lovingly. I suddenly got a phonecall from Jacob, and he wasn't letting up. I finally picked up, and Jacob's voice sounded eager... Excited. "Ally come to my house, like, now!" I laughed, wondering at why he was so happy. "Please, don't suddenly spoil me like last time." I mentioned, thinking about last time. "Please baby, you know you want to.." he said, sounding like he had a sneaky smile on his face. He started singing my favourite song to lure me to his house; The Only Exception by Paramore. "Oh really?" I said sarcastically, but really my heart was melting at the beauty of his voice. "You're coming now aren't you?" "Eugh, yeah, I guess so." I said, completely driven away by his singing. "YAAAY, leave now." He hung up after that, so I went to the main room to say my goodbyes and got changed into my black jeggings and a thick white jumper, and slipped on my simple black New Look flats. I knocked on Jacob's door five minutes later, and saw him grinning at me as soon as he opened it. "Come, come!" he pressured, grabbing my hand and leading me into his kitchen. His whole family was seated there, smiling at me. He sat me down at the table, and signalled 'one second' as he ran to get something from his bedroom. His whole family were obviously in on it, as they were smiling a bit too much, giving away their part in it. He came back with a big box, which looked like it was filled to the brim with... Paper? "I have a little puzzle I'd like you to do." he said, looking like he was about to burst out in giggles. He looked really nervous at the same time, like he was worried about something bad happening. He the grabbed the box, and emptied it out. "G'waan, I want you to put the pieces together... It'll spell something out." I wandered what the hell he was up to. Was it a joke, or was he being serious? After about half an hour of putting paper together, it read;
"Alyssia Jade, I love you with all my heart♥" I had no idea how to react, but then decided to just go with my instict. I walked over to him, hugged him, then kissed him.
