Secrets Behind The Words
Prologue
My name is Christy Hills,
and I'm not really loving it here in Maine.
My parents hate me because I don't get perfect
grades.
My dad always yells at me about being stupid, and my mom just
yells at me for no reason.
One time she was scolding me because I didn't look
like her.
She did prove her point though, we looked nothing alike.
She had short blonde hair and blue eyes and she was really pale,
as for me, I had long, straight, light chocolate brown hair with
light brown eyes.
With all this disaster going on,I wish my best friend was
still here.
Her name is Kaylie, and I haven't forgotten her ever
since.
We've been besties ever since first grade, and her
parents love her and are super rich.
Her parents got a job offer and moved to California, or so I
think.
We skyped for a couple of weeks but then it all ended.
I had school, she did too, so we never had time anymore.
Sometimes I envy her because her parents love her and she gets to
be in California.
I just wish that she was here to comfort me through this
disaster.
Because it's more than words.

amazing.

months ago, I had to move here all the way from Maine since my
parents got this fantastic job promotion they just couldn't
pass up on.
I still miss my best friend, Christy, who has been my best friend
since the first grade.
We promised each other we would keep in touch every day, but I
guess that only worked out for the first couple of weeks.
After that, it was hard, as it was different time zones, and we
had school and other plans.
I've made a lot of friends, and I'm apart of the
cheerleading squad!
Some of the girls are full of themselves, but some are really
kind, and those are the girls I chose to hang out with.
But I can't help but notice that there's a lot of trash
talking online.
Whether it's about love or a wart on someone's face,
there has been cyberbullying here.
It doesn't really matter though, it's just words
right?
