Chapter 9
Avalaya
I traced the picture, gulping. It was defiantly her. I wondered why her picture was on one of the walls. How did Conner, or his family know this poor, poor girl whom saved my life. I know I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for Maddison and the thought was constantly in my mind. I always felt guilty, it was my fault Maddison was dead. She was dead for coming to me. She was dead for not listening to him. I shuddered, remembering her death. I remembered when I started running, I stopped when I saw a loud scream.
*flashback* I was running, as fast as I could when I heard a piercing scream. I wondered if the people at the camp site could hear. I stopped suddenly and turned around, I could still see the girl and that man.
''Please, please, I'm sorry,'' Maddison whimpered.
''That girl got away, you wh/re!'' the man growled. ''She got away because of you,'' he bellowed.
''You're horrible!'' Maddison spat. There was a loud slap and a cry of pain.
''You're a b/tch! I hope you go to hell!'' I could see, I could see what he did. First, he put his arms around her neck and after when she was nearly dead, he got out a knife and sliced her head. I shivered at the thought, I still could remember her panicked scream. I couldn't move and I watched as he chucked Maddison's dead body into the hole. *end of flashback*
The door opened, it was Conner. ''What are you doing in here?'' he asked. I shook my head. ''Avalaya, right?'' I nodded. ''Just get out.'' I looked over to the desk, grabbing some paper and a pen.
'Who's the girl in the picture?' I wrote.
''Y-you know h-her?'' he stuttered.
'Who is she?'
''Avalaya, leave,'' Conner said.
'No, tell me who she is.'
''Avalaya, this is private. Do you know her, if you say yes or no then I'll tell you how I know her…'' should I lie? ''Why do you have her locket?!'' he cried. I clutched the necklace.
'It's mine,' I wrote.
''No- no it's not. It say Maddison and if you open it up it'll have a photo of both of us and our parents,'' he told me.
'Our parents?' I quickly wrote.
''Maddison's my sister,'' Conner replied.

Hehe thanks for saying I'm amazing and my quotes make you smile! But you're the amazing one for writing this unbelivable story! Its just soo freaking good! ♥ And holy cow I'm like flipping out! That's his sister! Oh my god, now he's gonna be like how'd you meet her, she disappeared, unless he knows the truth. And if not he might think she does! And oh my god I'm torn between the kiss, because I so love her and Carson but maybe a little jealous won't hurt. Besides it'd be sweet if she got a kiss after everything she's been through!
